She frowned once again at the question, putting the cup down. "She and I are of the same race actually. We're both fallen angels, and we can get shot down by the hunters if they are tasked to do so. But the huntress' goal was the genocide of the entire race and she wouldn't stop until that goal was reached, even if it meant slaying the innocent ones. It's a good thing that the b---- was executed by the spy who was used by her just to spot us. Though I still had feelings of resentment, I had to let go and let my friend be happy with her fiance, just to make her stop pleading." Hikaru then heard that Ansgar would be willing to help out with Solaris but sighed, picking up another one of the muffins.

"She's currently in Australia, just so you know. But I won't mind if you want to become her friend as well. She's actually a talented violinist." The brunette ended up popping the whole thing into her mouth and chewed after describing the raven-haired girl's profession to him.

It seemed like the stranger was waiting for his order as well and it would probably take a while given how busy they were, so surely he wouldn't mind a bit of idle chit chat. Right? He didn't seem outwardly mad about Sahar speaking to him, he looked more surprised than anything actually. He waited patiently for the man to answer, his expression brightening when he confirmed the djinn's thoughts. "I knew it! It is Vixen, correct? You two look very much alike." He pointed out. "I am Sahar and yes, I am a friend of your sister."

Sahar didn't have any siblings of his own, so it didn't occur to him that the other fox might feel protective of his sister. Of course, his change in mood went unnoticed by the djinn. "She told me about you before, you have been sick, right? Are you feeling any better?" If he remembered right, this guys name was Crevan. He looked alright, save for his tired expression. Sahar doubted he would be out and about if he was still under the weather.

If Crevan was better, did that mean that Vixen was sleeping well again? He remembered how worried she had been over her brother, hopefully, she was more at ease now. Maybe he should give her a call or text later just to make sure...

Only after the djinn spoke of Vixen’s name and introduced himself, did he finally let his guard down. A smile tugged against the corner of his lips, and he’d find his body facing the djinn as they conversed.

”So I’ve heard.” answered the fox as he chuckled. They were moulded with the same features. The deity found it amusing, it seems. ”Ah, Sahar. She’s spoken about you. Some.. I’d rather not hear.” he heaved a small sigh, and shook his head in denial. The twins shared everything, yes, but her bedding experiences, he’d rather not know anything at all. It felt a little strange, and the fox never really fancy the idea of people laying their fingers on his literal half even though he was sure that it had been Vixen that went around taunting people. That girl. ”Crevan. It’s a pleasure to be your acquaintance.” he extended his hand.

Sahar came off fairly pleasant, especially with the way he seemed surprised at the correct guess moments earlier. It was no wonder Vixen liked him so much. He’s quite amusing, if anything. However, upon the mention of being sick, the fox tensed up completely. His eyebrows furrowed, and his eyes seemed to have darkened. It soon disappeared, and the fox was quick to revert to his friendly demeanor. ”Ah, yes. I’ve been feeling under the weather, but I’m better now.” he scratched his head in response. It reminded him of the fact he didn’t have much longer, that his days were numbered but it was okay, because the fox was happy. He felt much happier than ever. He had his twin, he had someone to love, and that was enough.

”So what brings you here today?” he asked, though he came to a short pause after. ”Um.. Sahar. Would you mind look out for Vixen? She might seem headstrong, but honestly, she’s just a child. I can’t help but worry about her sometimes.”

Ansgar Berg
Ansgar was stunned at the sudden inflow of information however he decided to quickly began to speak as to not make her think that he was scared "That's disgusting that they would murder innocents... But at least that horrid woman is gone now, as for your friend's future brother-in-law I agree what he did was awful but he did end up double-crossing the huntress and that must have taken a little courage... Right?"

Ansgar would then finish his drink before speaking again "I'm sorry if i'm offending you by talking about things I barely know about..."

Hikaru just sighed to calm herself down, resisting the urge to raise her voice at him. She just resorted to popping the muffin into her mouth again and chewing before speaking."While it did take courage, it doesn't mean that I'll go completely friendly with him. Sure, my pet raven enjoys his company, but still... At least he's on a trip so I can have time to settle down my emotions. Even me having to let go of the resentment towards his family just to make my friend happy did take courage, though I was initially reluctant at first." The fallen angel then finished her tea and stood up, picking up her things and bringing the bag full of the muffins along. It would be best to cut to the chase and get the baking lessons started.

"Anyway, let's go to my house." But before she left, she had to pick up her umbrella and wait for him to tag along. It would be a long walk towards her house.

Ansgar Berg
Ansgar would take note of Hikaru's sigh and would begin to feel worse then he already did and when she would announce that it was time to head off and begin baking treats Ansgar would just mumble an agreement as he stood up and followed her to the door, the half-giant would have to find a way to salvage the day or potentially risk losing a friend.

██████████████████████████████

Now that he thought about it, Vixen only mentioned that she had a sibling, but could the two of them be twins? They did look a lot alike, however, that could be said for some siblings. It wasn't like it was a terribly important detail, so he decided to keep his question to himself. Perhaps he could ask Vixen later on. Right now Sahar just wanted to speak with the other fox for a bit.

Hearing that Vixen spoke of him made him feel happy and flustered. Just what did she tell her brother about him? Apparently, a bit too much given his last sentence. The djinn felt heat rise to his face at their shared honestly, a sheepish laugh leaving him as he looked away out of embarrassment for a moment. "Is that so?" What was he supposed to say to that? He knew that they were close but Sahar didn't think they were that close...

Thankfully, the subject changed and Sahar was able to get ahold of himself when Crevan introduced himself. "It is nice to finally meet you." He nodded, shaking the offered hand. The fox seemed nice, like his sister, so he imagined he would get along well with him. Sahar did notice that his expression shifted for a moment at his question, his eyes darkening and browns knotting before he covered it up with a smile. "I am glad to hear that; I know Vixen was very worried about you." Oddly enough, the djinn didn't find himself fascinated by his shifting expressions like he did Vixen. Crevan was a handsome man, just as handsome as his sister was beautiful, and his eyes were the same shade of gold, yet he didn't find himself lost in their depths. Maybe it was because Vixen had caught his eye first that he didn't hold the same level of interest in her twin.

"It is kind of funny, I-" Sahar started to answer his question with a small laugh but paused when Crevan began to speak again. His head tilted to the side in a curious manner, not quite sure what to think of his request. For some reason, the request made him uneasy. Was there something he was missing? "I would be happy to, or at the very least I will do my best. I enjoy spending time with your sister and I am very glad to have met her again." He answered honestly, a soft smile gracing his expression when he thought of the other fox. He could understand Crevan's worry to some degree, thinking back to the times when her gaze would become forlorn and distant. There was nothing the djinn wanted more than to ease some of her pain...

"Oh, I almost forgot to answer your question! I was planning on going grocery shopping but I ended up getting lost and found myself here. The weather has been so depressing it had not put me in the mood for anything."
Sahar perked up as he spoke. "Getting to talk to you had done wonders for my mood though! If I may, what brings you here? You ordered two coffees, yes? Is one of them for Vixen?"

The blush that slowly crept onto the djinn’s features were certainly amusing, and a smile eventually tugged against the corners of his lips. He was a little disturbed with the thought, but then again, he didn’t quite mind either, as long as Vixen doesn’t get herself involved with the wrong type of people. He wasn’t all too different apart from his twin, so who was he to complain?

”Don’t worry about it. You seem like a good man.” answered the fox as he watched the employees bag the beverage and brownies he ordered moments earlier. It smelled quite nice and he hoped Angel would like what he bought.

He felt a pang of guilt the moment he was reminded of Vixen’s worries, and he’d recall the few moments he so brutally shoved her away when she had only meant for the best. He took her kindness for granted, and he knew it was something terribly wrong to do. Especially towards someone that held great importance. He frowned, and heaved a soft sigh while he rubbed the back of his neck. ”I feel bad, y’know. She has her own problem, yet instead of helping, I just ended up adding more to her plate.” he answered. Dark eye circles, pale complexion.. All the more it made the older fox feel guilty.

The fox pursed his lips once he realised he interrupted the djinn’s sentence, though the thought was cut short after Sahar accepted his request. Vixen needed a lot of taking care of, despite how she claims to be an independant soul. Sahar was a good man, though from the sound of his words, the fox narrowed his gaze. Courting her would be a whole different situation altogether. ”Sounds like you have a crush.” he teased, eyeing the younger male. Somehow, after noticing the soft smile that graced his features, the fox had a feeling that he could entrust Vixen to him, that somehow, he could deal with her stubborness.

Grocery shopping was miles away, and Crevan was surprised and how far Sahar had come in attempt to search for a shop that was all the way in downtown. A laugh escaped his lips, and he’d find himself at the brink of tears. The djinn is interesting, that’s for sure.

”You do know that’s all the way in Downtown, don’t you?” he snickered. ”But I’m glad my company have somehow improved your mood.”

The coffee wasn’t for Vixen, no. He couldn’t even buy one for her even if he wanted to. That woman has been running off to places, and he hasn’t even seen her around lately. He prayed it wasn’t another situation where he finds her stranded in the park with nothing but her satin robe on.”Unfortunately, not. Vixen hasn’t been coming home lately. These are for my fi--” he paused, a light shade of pink dusting his cheeks, and he’d find himself start to smile in an idiotic manner. ”..my fiancee.” the fox was happy. His expressions were hard to go unnoticed.

Crevan collected the bags, already prepared to bid farewell until a thought popped into his head. The fox turned to him, knowing full-well Angel wouldn’t wake up so early during such a weather. ”I don’t think Angel would wake up so early, so if you want to, I can accompany you to the grocery store.”

"You are too kind." Sahar had a new reason to feel flustered as the fox complemented him. This was going pretty well, better than he thought meeting Vixen's brother would be. He was a nice man, one who cared about his sister as much as she cared for him it seemed. He felt bad for being a burden when he was ill. "Siblings are supposed to take care of each other, right? I am sure she is just happy to see you well." He pointed out although he was unsure if it was the right thing to say.

Sahar stepped away for a moment when his order was called out to get it before giving Crevan his full attention once more. His question had been unexpected, however, the djinn was honored that he wanted him to look after Vixen. He liked the idea of being friends with her for a long time. Sahar didn't realize how his expression and words seemed to Crevan, until the man spoke once more. "Huh!?" He nearly dropped his cup, staring at him with wide golden-brown eyes, until he realized that he was only teasing. "Geez! You and Vixen are so mean to me!" He huffed out a laugh, red dusting his cheeks again out of embarrassment from getting so worked up.

A crush.

What a silly thought...Although, for some reason, his words had struck a cord in Sahar and he couldn't help but feel restless until the subject was changed. He hadn't expected Crevan to find his story so amusing, but he didn't feel flustered by his reaction. The djinn had to admit, he found his lack of direction amusing at times too. "Yes, I am aware. I thought I had memorized the way there but it appears I was wrong! The only place I manage to find without trouble is work." Shoulders slumping as he took a sip of his coffee. Oh well, this wasn't a bad turn of events at least!

Sahar gave him a curious and concerned look when he shared that his sister hadn't been home lately. Was she alright? How could he be so calm about that admittance? Sahar would definitely have to call her later to make sure she wasn't in trouble...He perked up once more at the blush on Crevan's face, beaming when he shared that he was engaged. "Oh, congratulations! I hope you two are very happy together!" How lucky for him, Vixen must feel so at ease to know her brother had found someone to spend his life with! Or, perhaps not, seeing how she warned him about love before...Either way, Sahar was certainly happy for the fox!

The blond assumed that that was the end of their conversation as Crevan grabbed his own order. He took another sip of his coffee, planning to say goodbye until he offered to escort him. "That would be nice, but are you sure it is okay? I would not want to keep you from your dearest one!" He wasn't one to turn down the company if the fox was determined to go with him. Plus, it would be nice to have someone who knew the way to the grocery store with him.

▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

After the whole situation with Crevan and Angel, Vixen found herself babysiting Iris during the past two days. Not a day has gone by that she spent a comfortable night sleeping in her bed, hurdled up within her perfectly warmed bed sheets filled with soft scent of roses, her pillows were usually fluffed up to a perfect thickness, and she’d feel as if she were sleeping atop a cloud, drifting softly into her deep slumber. Vixen heaved a heavy sigh while she strode down the empty pavement with her tails shielding her from the rain.

Honestly, she would have brought an umbrella with her, but after going through the many days of getting her tails soaked, no matter how big the umbrella was, the fox finally gave up and made use of her thick fur coat her tails provided. It made no difference. Not if the rain still got to her despite the shelter.

It was a light drizzle, and she loved the weather. It wasn’t too cold, nor was it warm to the point she’d break out in sweat. It was perfect, along with the occasional breeze it provided though the less satisfying part regarding rainy weathers, was the fact it made her feel melancholic. It made her reminisce the past she promised she wouldn’t lose herself in. The fox fiddled with her ring finger, gently tracing the scar he once left upon her. It was their promise of reunion, yet even up till this day, he has yet to return. Vixen waited, even though she knew it was impossible. Perhaps love just makes people do crazy things.

Then, there was Iris she had to worry about after the whole situation with her brother. Vixen wasn’t surprised at all when she learned how Crevan had finally snapped over Iris’ manipulative tendencies. Iris wasn’t an object. Iris isn’t something to hold dearly within the palm of another. No one should ever be pampered to such an extent, even if they’ve had a horrible past. Iris is still a young cub compared to the both of them, still so immature, and both the twins, as Iris’ adoptive parents, they hold the responsibility to teach that cub, to let him learn. But she, too, knew where Iris was coming from, why he tried so hard to keep Crevan by his side. They were the only people he trusted after what happened, and Vixen understood what it felt to fear having a loved one taken away.

Vixen heaved yet another sigh, and she’d shake her head in frustration. What in the heavens is happening to the people around her? Then again, Vixen isn’t in a stable condition either. She’s spent days outside, sometimes months without even returning home, without a single phone call. The fox wondered. She hasn’t been home in quite a while. Not since the day before the paintball event. The night she spent at Sahar’s.

Her hands came up to wrap themselves around her slim form, and she’d feel her cheeks heating up. It wasn’t because she was shy over what they had done, it was more so.. the fact she broke down in front of another person, that she allowed herself to be vulnerable within the company of another, other than the small circle of friends that made up her family of four. Six, including Angel and Iris. Her thoughts wandered to Sahar, and she found herself pondering his well-being, if he’s alright, even. She didn’t text him, let alone give him a call. Neither did he. It was a one night thing. No more, no less.

Her eyebrows furrowed once she recalled the day during Valentine’s. How she allowed herself to be carried away. She wondered just what was wrong with her. Zara claimed it to be a crush. Vixen believed otherwise. It was impossible. Not now. Perhaps, not ever. Or so she thought.

An empty can came into sight and with a solid kick, she sent the can flying. But of course, she was kind enough to pick it up and toss it in the trash can near by. She had been walking about since the brink of dawn, since the sky was still dark, before the sun has even risen from the horizon. Vixen was out walking. Without a destination, without a reason, she just walked, and walked, and walked. Maybe she’d find herself at the end of the universe one day. Maybe she’d find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Who knows? No one can blame her for having such thoughts when they were all living in a world full of magical entities.

But now, Vixen had a destination. All these walking had left her with an empty stomach she would be happy to fill with sugar and a nice, hot cup of coffee. The first place that came to mind was Moonbucks, after she found herself already standing a street away from the shopping complex. They always had a particular feeling to that cafe. Perhaps it was the mood they created? The fox felt it was a place she could truly relax, other than home.

Vixen shook her tails, drying it off before she allowed herself into the establishment. It was quiet, with soft jazz music playing in the background. There, she ordered a large cup of hot coffee, and several pieces of brownies. Strangely, there were a lot of people, but she managed to find herself a place to sit in the corner of the room, just beside the glass window where she was allowed the privilige to gaze out into the open, enjoying the soft taps of rain drops against the windows.

”Short steps, deep breath.. Everything is alright..” Vixen hummed a soft tune, thanking the waitress when her order was brought to her table. ”Don’t be so gloomy, Vixen. You’re stronger than this.. Stronger than this..” she murmured, more or less encouraging herself.

Her phone buzzed in her pocket, and she’d sneak a peak at the message, which inevitably put a smile upon her porcelain features.

”Miss you lots, Tsubasa. If you’re getting lonely out there, just know that you can always come home. We’ll be waiting for you. Love, Sora.”

Vixen didn’t reply, not yet, and instead, she’d place her phone on the side of the table. No matter how hard things get, her brother always knew what to say to make her feel better, and for that, Vixen has always been grateful. God knows what would have happened if he were never around.

With a soft chuckle, and a slight shake of her head, Vixen murmured, ”You idiot.”

Dare Callahan was in a bad mood. He was sleep deprived, wet, and lacking his vital morning coffee. The evening before had been unbelievably eventful. As had his morning. Fayre had had another long night suffering from his chronic insomnia, that just seemed to get worse as time went on. But he guessed that what Fayre was experiencing currently was just a preview of what was to come, as, according to the doctor, this insomniac disease was fatal and incurable. Throughout the night, Dare had dedicated his time to getting Fayre to fall sleep. But it seemed that just as his young companion fell into a light slumber, the smallest of sounds would wake him, and it would be back to square one. Fayre would be up for hours at a time, only managing a mere ten minutes of sleep between, and was understandably cranky while he was awake. It didn't help that the kid was easily bores and Dare didn't like the idea of him wandering about town at all hours without some form of protection. So naturally, whenever Fayre was unable to sleep, Dare would stay awake with him. And if one thought that missing sleep was bad enough, at around four am that morning, his coffee machine broke. Oh, and to make matters worse, Mutt had decided at that time that she wanted to use Fayre's ermine and Pomeranian as chew toys, since, out of the household's three pets, she was the only one who was also affected by Fayre's odd sleeping patterns. It also didn't help that she was at least three times the size of both smaller creatures. Dare had trained her a little too well it seemed.

Today just didn't seem to be going well for anyone in his small family. Fayre had finally managed to fall asleep at about seven, but his hand was injured from earlier when he had accidentally broken the coffee machine while attempting to make Dare a coffee as a 'thank you' for staying up and keeping him company throughout the night. Fayre's two animal companions were also sleeping with him, and Dare was thankful that they were both lazy creatures whose whole worlds evolved around Fayre. When Fayre was asleep, they slept. If Fayre was awake, they followed him and kept him company. Mutt, on the other hand, had stubbornly demanded attention from her giant owner as compensation for him taking away her night's entertainment. So the two had gone for a walk and wrestled with each other out in the street, until some random idiot intervened under the mistaken assumption that either Dare was being attacked by a wild dog, or abusing it. After that rude interruption the duo had returned home to dry off and sleep for a few hours.

But even that didn't last. Dare had woken abruptly to the sounds of his roommate rummaging around in the kitchen. So after making everyone breakfast, and having a little himself, he had gone on a run as usual. But towards the end of his return trip home, Dare had taken a detour and wound up in front of a cafe. Moonbucks. Usually this would have been a blessing, but the place was packed. And he was soaked. He couldn't possibly enter such beloved, coffee making establishment. Of course, anything was beloved if it made coffee.

As if sensing his refusal to comply with his body's unconscious demands, Dare's stomach rumbled in protest. With a heavy sigh, he checked his pockets. Had he had the foresight to bring money along with him this time? It seemed he had. There was just enough for a decent sized coffee and a bite to eat. The giant held the door open for an elderly couple before entering. Just because he was in a bad mood, starving, and sleep deprived, didn't mean he had to be rude. Though he did end up bumping his head on the door frame and bumping into a few people on accident.

Dare towered over everyone else in the establishment and just plainly, stood out like a sore thumb. Because of his sheer size and bulk, there immediately seemed to be a lot less space in the café the moment he entered. He also appeared to be leaving a trail of muddy footprints on the ground after him. But luckily, they weren't too noticeable and blended in with the footprints made by countless others before him.

While he qued up to place his order, the raven observed his surroundings and noticed that there were barely any available tables left for him to take. And the few that were available, were all in an inconvenient location for him, as he'd end up blocking a pathway or tripping someone up with his long legs. He needed to sit somewhere out of the way, like at a table near the window. As he placed his order -a strong black coffee in the largest size they had, and a random selection of cakes- he took note of the tables by the window. None were available. Looks like he'd have to depend on the kindness of a stranger in order to sit down, since he didn't want to walk all the way home before he could enjoy his meal.

Drawing himself up to his full height, Dare headed towards the group of tables by the window, and chose to try his luck with a petite woman seated by herself. He paid no mind to her inhumane attributes, as living in Soleil had allowed him to become accustomed to such a sight. Although he had yet to come across someone with attributes as unique as the features this woman possessed.

"Excuse me. Would you mind if I joined you?"

He asked, trying to appear as nonthreatening as possible, but probably failing.

❛I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand.
And the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow.
I wish I had a thousand words for snow,
But all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep,

,,and there are no words for that.❜

○I'm feeling melancholic.
●I'm speaking to a bulky stranger at the moment.
○I'm currently wearing casual t shirt and shorts.
●I have $200 on me and $800 stashed in the bank.
○I currently have feelings for no one.

Her gaze was locked onto the scenery outside, how people ran for shelter, how kids jumped from puddle to puddle. There were people who were drenched, some wet from the waters cars had splashed onto them, some due to not having shelter. Didn’t they know their bodies are prone to get more wet when they run instead of walk? Apparently not.

She was thankful though, at least she was given the priviledge of a shelter, not that she would mind even if she were to walk under the rain. She liked the way raindrops felt upon her skin, the way its coldness left trails of water marks in their wake. She was an animal to begin with. It didn’t matter if she had been drenched. She could always just shake it all off at the end of the day.

The fox took a small sip of coffee, savouring the bitterness upon the tip of her tongue. Vixen never really fancied bitter food, but coffee was an exception. She liked it black. It somehow.. kept her from living in her world of sweetness and fantasies. It anchored her to reality, yet at the same time, allowed her a glimpse of the world she dreamed of so badly. She didn’t know how to put it into words, or perhaps.. She was just a deep person altogether.

She ran a finger through her hair, and began to twirl it with her index finger. She was bored, with nothing better to do. It wasn’t because she couldn’t be alone, but more so the fact rainy weathers made her feel a tad lonely, and the burden she carried upon her shoulders were heavier. She loved the rain, yes, yet at the same time, it made her depressed. It made her.. pitiful in some way. Her ears that were once perked, dropped to either sides of her head, and her tails that were still a chunk of wet fur draped lifelessly behind her like heavy weights. It was amidst these messed up thoughts, that the fox thought about her past once more. It was always moments like these that made her turn towards the past and attempt to escape reality’s wrath. It was always impossible, and it made her feel weak. Vixen knew better, yet she couldn’t help herself, she couldn’t help the loneliness she felt within, and honestly, Vixen was tired. Both mentally and physically, and there were days she prayed she didn’t have to live, that something came and take her away. She felt she could be happier. She could see her loved one once more, she could.. reunite? Could she really? No one knew what life after death was like, and Vixen feared that it might not be what she thought it was. What if she found.. nothing? What if she just faded into nothingness? Is that the end to it all?

She shook her head, refraining from such thoughts. There was no need to worsen her mood, and thankfully, the world was working with her for once. The bell chimed when the door to the establishment opened. Her golden orbs went for the door, where an old couple would enter. She admired them both, how they walked hand in hand. It wasn’t hard at all to tell that they were as in love as they had been decades ago. Would she and Lexus be the same, if they had led a normal life? She could only wonder, couldn’t she? It was such a shame. It would have been nice, to be able to bear his children. But life would not allow her the happiness to be with her loved one. She had none of him left. She had nothing left.

Her heart throbbed painfully, and tears stung the corners of her eyes but with a few blinks, they would cease to have existed at all. Her gaze left the old couple, and soon fell upon the man with a larger frame that came in shortly after the couple did. He was drenched, soaked to the core, and Vixen felt a tad.. worried. She had a kind heart, yet most did not see this aspect of hers. His expression seemed dark, more.. annoyed than dark. Perhaps she shouldn’t meddle? The last thing she wanted was to rile him up even further.

She turned away, guiding her gaze outside once more as a soft melody came to mind. ”Give your heart and soul to me.. and life will always be, la vie en rose..” she sung, her voice quiet and gentle. The lyrics were sweet, so innocent, yet it felt strange when Vixen were to sing it, for those who offer their hearts to her, had them shattered and torn. A light frown tugged her lips, eventually, and she took another sip of her coffee.

"Excuse me. Would you mind if I joined you?" a voice emerged from her left. Vixen looked up, only to see the man from earlier stand beside her. She smiled, and gestured for the seat on the opposite side of the table, ”Go ahead. You didn’t have to ask.”

She was still contemplating if she should give him something to dry off with. At this rate, it was no surprise if he were to catch a fever the next day. In the end, she finally came to terms. Vixen pulled out a handkerchief she usually carried on her, and reached forth to dry off his wet raven locks. It was only then, she realized, despite standing on her tip toes, she couldn’t reach the top of his head at all. ”You’re so damn tall. It’s foul play, y’know.” The fox frowned, deciding to just give him the soft fabric instead. ”Take this an dry your head off, at least. You’ll catch a cold at this rate.” The fox returned to her seat, and took another sip of her coffee. It was then, his tattoos became apparent to her. Her golden orbs found themselves trailing from his sleeves, down to his forearm. Did they have a meaning? Vixen wanted to ask, but in the end, she refrained herself from doing so. There was no need to prode her nose into his business, or so she thought.
