☽ Emma shrugged as she recalled what her nightmare was about "A lot of things went wrong the night I escaped. Sometimes I get nightmares about the torture or being in a war zone but Nightmares about that night happen most often I guess." She explained. "This gives me a right to ask you about your dreams too from now on you know?" She said then with a small smile. ☾

Never Again...Herald stared at Emma before giving a slow nod. He hadn't thought of the fact that she could ask him questions about his dreams now. He nodded slightly though he definitely wasn't going to answer any questions if he didn't feel like it. "I understand," he told her honestly. He did have dreams about the Arena sometimes, though they were few and far between. The only thing that concerned him is that sometimes he enjoyed them... Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald watched Emma a moment longer before laying back down. "Very well," he replied, his thoughts drifting back to The Reaver. He tried hard to recount the fight, if it could be called that. Some of it was blurry. Nevertheless, he did his best to remember, combing over the battle in his mind as he tried to think of any sort of weakness or pattern The Reaver had shown. He frowned slightly as he thought. Eric would be much better than this, but he was not about to ask him for help. He WOULD figure this out. Will I be bound in chains

☽ After a few moments of silence, Emma rolled towards Herald so she was closer to him. "If only I had more weaponry on me... I might have been able to kick his a** just a bit more with a cannon or sword or something..." she muttered, obviously still a little upset in doing a terrible job at trying to save Herald. She wouldn't have been surprised if that triggered her nightmares to come back again. ☾

☽ Emma sniffled and nodded, she looked pretty close to crying at this point. It was a combination of hurting Herald and the fact that she couldn't protect him that made her upset at the moment. She knew Herald wanted to protect her but she wanted to be strong enough to do the same for him if ever needed. She felt useless and weak just thinking about what had happened. ☾
