A Vanna sighting! eek

I have a suggestion for a way to get Vanna involved in the rp, and this information should benefit everyone.

Thanks to Marceline's great idea of a Secret Santa event, I've been working on a way to coordinate that with Glen. We've come up with an idea that is similar to a secret santa event I ran nearly 15 years ago (holy crow) in a completely different rp. Here's how it'll go:

-Layla LaMia is going to be hosting a Howliday Ball on the last night everyone is in town before leaving for their various howliday celebrations. To make that event extra special, she's going to give everyone coming a chance to participate in a Secret Santa Claws hexchange.

-We're going to create an organizational SSC thread where you can state which of your characters are going to attend the ball. The more, the scarier!

-Each of those accounts must post at least once during the Final Hexams day in the rp. This will give Layla and Kai a chance to talk to them, invite them in-character and get them to draw a name out of a hat who they're going to be gifting to.

-YOU determine who you want your character to gift to, based on who is going to be going to the ball! You could make it someone they know, someone they don't know, someone they love, someone they HATE, someone who will be super awkward to get a gift for (like, for example, Marceline having to get a gift for her ex-boyfriend Rory). We'll keep track of who wants to give to who in the OOC thread. (first come, first served)

-You end up with some rp fodder as your character has to figure out just what they're going to get for this other monster. This could be easy...or it could be hard. If your character doesn't know a lot of other monsters, like Vanna, it may give you a chance to have her try to get to know a monster she's drawn.

I think this would give people a chance to do more in the rp if they aren't quite sure of a direction to take. For example, if Vanna drew a monster she doesn't personally know, like, Arillena Faedathanna, she could follow her around, or try to get to know her, or talk to her friends. You could also rp the experience of shopping during the last week before Cryptmas (TRULY frightening!)

There will be a Skulltimate Roller Maze match after we finish up the day of finals. Your characters can either choose to attend it, choose to go shopping or to do something else during that time.

It's ok...responding to a vicious Peggy Poking is tough under the best circumstances. That ghoul has a lot poking strength.
