"...Music is...? I'm sorry, I don't know that word..." Amrita made a thoughtful face, trying to figure out what that one was. It wasn't anything she recalled seeing anymore! Plus, she didn't know many swears in sign language. She was about to take his hand when someone very pink arrived, winking at Christof before dancing off. Desu-chan was all over the place, wasn't she?
"...What was that about?" She gave a curious huh, and reached out to slide her hand into his. "Oh well. Lead on?" To be fair to Amarus, nobody but Mac knew that he and Mot were cousins. Recent disgust in the other boil had made that particular fact slip his mind mysteriously. Like he was ashamed of the other boil being related to him or something. He shrugged at the rest, quite willing to drop any and all mentions of the Grim Reaper.
"Well, if you find one, a nice one, please give it to her? I think she needs it." Lizzy took everything he dished like a champ, up to and including his temper and general stress. "She likes pink. And fluffy things. I don't know if that helps." Yes, yes he was getting gifts for Lizzy from random strangers; she deserved them. All of them.
"Eh? Oh. Dancing, that, well like I said, Lizzy's busy, and I saw you sleeping over here sooo I guess that makes you the culprit?" He shrugged, sliding his hands into his pant pockets. "Not yet, but I will...once she's less busy. Hrm. Hey, wanna dance? Not allowed to be a wall flower~" One hand left his pocket to extend towards her, palm-up in invitation."Please do! Our tattoos are not...conventional. No need to think about the design, really. It's very painful." There was a pause, and perhaps a too sweet smile. "I mean, painless." Needle fought to keep a grin from appearing on her lips, tilting her head at the hand wave, looking over her shoulder to see what he was gesturing t---Oh.
"Oh, yes, I did. I should get back to him. It was nice meeting you, West! Enjoy your night~" Needle waved her fingers before turning carefully, ghosting into the crowd to find her date.

"Kiwi, I believe we will have to take this delightful item apart and examine it," Fai said abruptly. "Tell me, do you have any tools on you? I would have brought my own, but I had no clue that it would turn out so fascinating here. How DOES it keep the liquid inside at such a consistency? Perhaps that constant churning--" Yes, he was totally distracted from the whole meet and greet thing. There was EXPERIMENTING to do!

.................... Oh right, he thought, remembering their last meeting. "Um..." he said, looking around for a moment. "Actually... nah. I don't really dance that well. Hey, why don't you two dance while I get a snack? Cuz I've not had NEARLY enough time at the table, y'know?" he offered. Like hell he was going to force someone that hid from him to dance with him. But that was jackin' confusing in and of itself to the boil. She'd spent all that time chasing him around--she'd hauled him into the lake and clung to him in his room and--then all of a sudden she was avoiding him like a... princess corner, he thought, scowling. Was one song enough to do that? Jack she was music sensitive!

Since the dance breakout, Muka and Needle had become a bit separated. Thankfully he was tall and able to keep an eye out for her, but for the moment he was on the fringes of the dance floor by himself doing a little something like this: When he caught sight of Needle, motioning to him, he waved and grinned. West was pinned with a happy stare!

Mot paused, chuckling briefly. Nervously. "Strange as it may seem." He said lightly, regarding the lack of alcohol. The Grim had never really partook in anything booze tainted. He didn't quite see the fun in it, as it were. He could only assume. Mot made a noise of understanding regarding dancing. He could have figured she'd not be into it much. But hey, maybe she would humour him? She didn't seem too busy. Then again, the current song was not really dance worthy in Mot's preferences. "Well, before the night ends, maybe I could get a dance out of you?" He asked with a pensive smile. "When the song is more suited to it." And when she wasn't catching up with someone.

Obviously Mot and Riyo had completely different definitions of fun... but it was sort of a given.
"A dance?" the ghoul seemed confused. Nobody had really asked her to dance before, though it seemed dancing wasn't just limited to couples. She'd seen many friends dancing the night away out on the floor. "I... I guess. Hope you're okay with me stepping on your toes." Undoubtedly she probably would at some point. It had, after all, been a very long time. It was something she'd never really forgotten though. "It's not like I'm really doing anything besides standing around and chatting."

Owl stood there for a long amount of time. Burnt. Burnt. She had pizza. But... she couldn't eat it. She had bandages on her face. Owleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnn. DUUUUUDE. Rent. Pizza. What now? Dancing. Oh yes. It's murder on the dance floor.

Deal. Amarus would dig through those markets once prom was over and she'd rested a bit, and she would find Lizzy something nice. Something really nice. Pink... fluffy... weird. Yeah, well, she could at least try. "Pink and fluffy sounds like the antithesis of a medal.. but I'll look for something and just call it a medal regardless," Mar promised.
The only one she'd ever turned to for support was gone, really-- gone for now. To whatever school he was really from. And she missed him, but with a part of her mind that she kept distant, because it was an unfamiliar sensation. In any case, no one really had to deal with her quirks, so she wasn't really sure what they were. It wasn't the same as being close to someone like Mac and Lizzy were to each other.
"Do I want to dance? Yes, I jacking do," Amarus said, reaching her hand out to accept the offer in reply. "Say, Mac? How much do you know... about spinning?" she asked, looking up at him with uncharacteristically wide eyes.
Amarus was definitely addicted to dancing.

Needle might have fought her grin, but West let his hang right on out there, shaking his head at the ghoul as she disappeared back into the crowd. It had been nice to meet her, now hadn't it? He tried to follow where she went for a time, but when his eyes met Muka's, his sweeping search paused. Thems were some beeg peepers. He felt a little like a trapped miced tea under their scrutiny, no matter how friendly they appeared. The demon shook off the sensation, then shuffled on toward the punch bowl.

"I think I can handle some toe abuse." Mot said with a grin. He had an ear out for the music, pursing his lips and then shrugging. "Bah, who cares if the song is a little fast paced. I'll risk my toes if you'll risk your pride?" He smiled amusedly, holding out a hand. "Well?"

Before Yin could really react to the copious amounts of people that Mei was suddenly with, or even think about what else he could possibly turn into that was not a mantis, he was being dragged off. He was somewhat okay with it, but fairly confused nonetheless. Especially after Alexander stripped off his mask, letting it carelessly fall to the floor (which was less surprising) and began to gesture at him. First he was gesturing at him, then his neck which almost appeared to be bulging slightly and then he was gesturing at him again and really, how on Halloween was Yin supposed to understand that. A light frown creased his face. "Alexander if this is some sort of prom ritual I do not understand it." He rather hoped it was not Alexander's form of dancing, it looked rather peculiar, and seemed to change a rather lot for no apparent reason, so it would be fairly hard to learn. Seussi Again people wanting to quote me: I am at a conference, so adding me to a quote train is a very bad idea D: I just can't keep up with it right now, and I WILL bog you down QQ

Well. It was his funeral. Or... His toes, rather.
Looking to Deacon, she gave him a pat on the shoulder and took Mot's hand. "Go find that person you were gonna ask. I'll be back."
Turning back to her new dance partner, Riyo shook her head. She couldn't believe she was doing this. "You lead, cowboil." How did one dance to this, anyways?

Mot smiled as she took his hand, leading her back out the the dance floor. "Will do, little lady." He said witha chuckle, though he was thinking on his feet. Dancing to this? Tricky. OH! He suddenly stopped an turned to Riyo witha big grin. "Ever done the Jive?" Regardless, he took her hand and led her into the start of a simple Jive dance routine. It was high energy enough to keep up with the song, and as long as he didn't push the bakeneko too hard, he could lead her well enough for her to follow.

A rumble of laughter started in his chest as he reached around the ghouls waist and gave a tug to hug her side. "Not shabby in deed. Though i do wonder, how is it you seem to be able to produce sparkle without the need of glitter?" She beamed with life, it was almost as if he could touch it. Sure her voice was a bit... loud at times, but hey no ones perfect! "Though i must admit that is QUITE the load of hair you have, how the heck are you not tripping over it constantly?" He had issues when dancing with her trying not to step on the load, so he can only imagine how it felt for her.

Pachua, who had missed out on a great many things, was not going to miss out on prom again. At least… he wasn’t going to miss out on –all- of it. He’d straitened all his feathers, polished his scales carefully and was wearing his best, most colorful clothing.
He made a nervous eyed sweep for familiar faces; he saw a few deeper in the crowds and shifted nervously from foot to foot. His family, his family would have been confident, brazen because they descended from other feathered serpents that were hailed as ‘gods’ or so they said. So he was determined not to be quite so ‘edgy’ about returning. He was determined to be as bold as his ancestors.
