Max just laid there. She refused to cry. "I give up...." She whispered and just laid there. "I give up on everything. I'm not cut out for this..." She whispered and she blinked back tears. "I don't deserve to be a ranger..." She said and then threw her morpher into the trash can. "I'm sorry.... I just can't do it." She whispered and put her fan onto a stand she had on her dresser. "I'm no ranger..." She muttered and laid back down on her bed and just stared at te ceiling. She closed her eyes to keep the tears in, but they slipped passed her closed eyes and slid down the sides of her cheeks into her hair.

Lily heard Max talking, and knew it was Max, but she felt like she was hearing her thoughts out loud. She began trying to calm down and stop crying. She reappeared, washed her face so she wouldn't look like she was crying, and then she got out the other 95% of that piece of paper she hadn't used. She wrote out: 'I'm sorry for recording you, but...well, I wasn't going to show it to anyone quite yet. I only know two other people here, really. Ashley and Takeru. Well, and Kaven. I don't have to show them yet, or ever. I can tell you're in the same boat as me-feeling upset, saying you shouldn't be a Ranger. Me too. My Mom, Rose Ortiz, told me to not fight the monsters, just find them and somehow gain information about them. That's why I came here. All of the sudden I was a Pink Megaforce Ranger and got this Fire Element Form...it's confusing. Just apologize, honestly, and give me another chance, and I'll do the same for you. Yes or no? (I'll delete that recording too)' Lily slid the paper under Max's door. She went 30 feet from Max's door, and calmed herself, waiting.

Max just checked yes, slid it back out her door, but didn't come out of her room. "I'm not being a ranger anymore... I'll forgive, but not forgive myself..." She whispered and held her stomach. "I'm not leaving this room again." She whispered. "I refuse to hurt someone again." She whispered and closed her eyes again. She was trying not to cry anymore.

Lily got the paper when it was back out Max's door. She smiled gently. She got out her phone and did as she said she would. She deleted the recording. She heard what Max said. "Max, it's okay. I'm okay," Lily said quietly. "You can cry all you want, saying you're not coming out of that room, not being a Ranger, but in your heart, you know the truth," Lily said.

Max just sat there. She just laid there. She curled up. "I'm not a ranger..." She muttered and took a few deep breaths. "I miss my brother and sister..." She said and tried to relax more.

"I know where Ashley is. I told you that earlier,"Lily said. "Just come with me, please. I know where she is," Lily said. "I'm not lying or trying to get you out of your room," Lily said honestly.

Max just sat there. "No. I'll just see her when she feels like seeing me. She hasn't come looking for me because she doesn't care." She said and just laid there. "I know you mean well, but trust me. She doesn't want to see me." She muttered. She seemed depressed because of her hangover.

Max sighed. "You wouldn't get it..." She muttered and started to feel sick. She closed her eyes. She went to sleep, she was hungry and thirsty. She wanted to sleep the pain away.

"I...I know what it's like, really," Lily admitted. "Knowing about someone not wanting to see me. I don't even know who my Dad is, never mind if he wants to see me," she admitted. It was true. She didn't know who her dad is, if he was dead or alive, why she didn't know who he is...Lily began getting tears in her eyes. "I don't even have the slightest clue of what he looks like; yet you're talking about someone in the same building as you who doesn't want to see you, and you have probably known her for a while, and you think I wouldn't get it?" Lily said between tears.

Max just laid there, she could hear lily, but she stopped talking. She was asleep, she looked a lot younger after the crying and arguing. Her room was dark, and she refused to turn any lights on.

Max just laid there, she seemed happy and relaxed. "Trent, ash, draven..." She whispered and relaxed a little.

Ashley saw the two girls and sat down the now awake Kaven who ran over to Max. "Auntie Max!" She followed the little boy over and smiled.

Max didn't hear the little boy because she was still in her room asleep. Her room still smelled of smoke and alcohol, but she didn't notice.
