Kenny soon discovered that he was so not suited for traveling in his new form. He hated legs now, he was certain of it. How did the others get around when they couldn’t float? Everything seemed to be going so slowly now as well. The Dusclops was used to hanging onto Dante’s shoulder as a Duskull and enjoying the ride as his trainer walked or more likely rode around on Apollo. Now though he was experiencing the walking bit and he was sure he did not like this bit, no he was certain why his trainer rode around most of the time. The Dusclops trekked slowly through the town, at least he didn’t have to avoid people, those who didn’t get out of his way he just phased right though, the looks on their faces was always the best part of doing that. Laughing to himself as he phased through a business man who hadn’t seen him until too late Kenny approached the way out of town.
Looking up at the building Kenny wondered if this really was the way he was supposed to be going. Were they sure that Dante wasn’t in town anymore? Well he wasn’t psychic and maybe they did look. Their trainer was certainly an odd one and Kenny wouldn’t put it past him to leave town all of a sudden. The question really was, why did he leave town? The Dusclops couldn’t answer that, though he had a feeling it had something to do with Apollo getting hurt, not that that wasn’t obvious. The ghost pokemon started to phase through the door when he heard a horrible screeching sound being aimed in his direction.
Said screeching sound was coming from a relatively small older woman who was giving the ghost pokemon a glare and waving something at him. “No pokemon without a trainer through my gate!” She stood in front of the half phased through the door Dusclops, doing her best to block his way.

Holding the Buneary away from her face Robin looked around the area with Ace trying to spot who exactly had thrown the rock at them. The sandy area was clear though, just a few trees, a small cave and a few rocks on the other wise blank landscape. "Huh... I wonder what that was?" Robin wondered outloud, in her arms though the Buneary started to shake and try to hide more in Robin's arms. "Are you ok little buddy?" Robin asked looking down at the scared pokemon.
The moment her attention was away though Ace saw what it was though. The tree! it was the tree that had attacked them. The Monferno growled low in his throat as he watched the strange, and somewhat disturbing movements coming from the tree. Even though he was watching though he still couldn't quite believe it when it summoned up another piece of rock and threw it at them again. He was ready though, with a quick Mach Punch the Monferno pushed it off to the side redirecting the attack so it hit a nearby wall. Looking back he saw that the silly girl that called herself his trainer was paying attention again. Deciding to help her out he pointed over to the tree that had attacked them. Ace had to give her credit to. Instead of disbelieving him like most sane people would do she just nodded and payed attention to the tree. Unfortunately for them they didn't notice the other tree summon up a rock and toss it at them.

Roark couldn't help but grin as he saw the strategy of his Onix play out. Sure he couldn't see his Onix now but that didn't matter, he had tons more experience with that then his opponent did. Still, he couldn't forget the fact that Jason's Onix was pretty bulked up. One hit from that would hurt like none other. "Onix hit it with a Tackle attack. Don't get to confident, it still is pretty buffed up." Roark called to his underground rock snake. His pokemon though just rolled his eyes underground. He knew what he was doing and he actually knew where he was going to, unlike the other Onix. Still trainer knows best. Re positioning himself off to the side of the other Onix he started to dig through the earth picking up speed for an underground Tackle attack.

Gigas eyed the newly evolved Metapod warily and wondered how much stronger the bug type had become. Surely he was faster, but that didn't make him feel comfortable after how Mateus had tried to eat his skull. Odin simply stared for a moment before poking his bladed arms into a stump for fun. Kressen smiled at Mateus and knelt beside her and petted her head. "You're just full of surprises aren't you?"
Mateus stared at him with eyes that simply radiated anger, but the new trainer didn't seem to notice. He was too excited after today's events."All right guys. Let me get you some food and then we'll retire for the night. We have to get up bright and early so we can head to Pallet town and get that Pokedex and register for the Pokemon league."
He scrounged around in his pack and pulled out the Pokemon chow and poured each of them a bowl. Gigas began eating with gusto and Mateus soon followed suit. Mateus stared at the food with disgust and then back at Kressen remembering the perfect Oran berry he had squashed under his big stupid foot. She began shaking with rage and Kressen stared not understanding the danger he was in."You're evolving again already! Wow you're really something else!"
A string shot to the face made him flail about comically. "Wait what are you doi-!" It was a common misconception that all Metapods could do was harden. They could use string shot and tackle to great effect. It was a lesson Kressen was going to have to remember if he didn't fall unconscious after a hard shelled bug type used stringshot to rocket itself up into his face.

Kenny just stared down at her in mild amusement. She was so tiny compared to his now huge size. Heck his trainer was even taller than her! Still she did have nerves of steel to be standing up to a huge ghost type pokemon who could easily swat her aside with little to no effort. Deciding to just ignore her Kenny finished phasing through the wall and proceeded to phase through her, much to his own amusement. The Dusclops amusement quickly faded though when she managed to grab onto Dante’s bag and start pulling on it.
“No pokemon through the gate without a trainer!” She screeched at the ghost. As she pulled some things shifted around in the bag and when Kenny pulled back with his ghostly hands it was enough to send two things falling out and towards the ground. One was a pokeball containing a certain bad-tempered dragon and the other was the egg!
Without waiting another second Kenny let go of the bag and reached disembodied hands to catch the falling egg. It was only through luck that he managed to stop it from shattering on the floor. Unfortunately something unpleasant did shatter on the floor. There was a moment of silence as the two of them stared at the just appeared blue and black dragon, the dragon ‘looked’ up at both of them before it revealed a wide open mouth full of very sharp teeth. Kenny quickly knew to back up from that sight, it hadn’t taken him long to figure out that this pokemon hurt and didn’t care who it hurt. The guard lady wasn’t so lucky though. Kenny felt sorry for her as he watched the dark dragon clamp it’s mouth down on her leg.
“Ouch! What is this little demon!” She yelled as she tried to shake it off. That really only caused the little dragon to growl and clamp on even harder. Kenny did feel bad about this whole thing and quickly stuffing the egg into the bag again he extended one of his disembodied hands over to the pokeball and picking it up he recalled the little rage monster. Once it was away the ghost and the lady just stared at each other. “I would rather you just leave instead of stick around with that little monster in the town.” Kenny just nodded at that and headed out the other side of the door. Only of course to be greeted by a huge wall of sunlight.
~~~~~~~~
Robin gave a sharp cry as the rock smashed hard into her, the redhead fell back a few steps her butt landing hard on the ground. In her arms though the Buneary rested safely and was giving her a concerned look. "Ouch." Robin muttered, she could already tell she was going to have a huge bruise, looking down she saw lots of little scratches to where the rock had hit her. "Dang. Ace is there another?" She glanced around looking wildly to see if there were anymore. On the ledge they were on Robin could only see three of the strange trees. Picking herself up she carefully put the Buneary down. "Stay with us, were going to protect you." She muttered blue eyes wearily watching her surroundings.
"Ace, just try to deflect the rocks. I don't think even you can take on three of... whatever they are." She fished through her bag blindly until she pulled out her pokedex and scanned one of the trees in. They listened to the mechanical voice tell them that they were Sudowoodo. "They hate water huh?" To bad Black*Star wasn't the one she picked. Oh well no time to think on that, she still had Ace with her and weren't rock types weak to fighting? Well that was good, the only problem with that was that fire types were also weak to rock... The three of them watched the weird little trees wiggle around seemingly coming closer to them. Well two of them were, the last tree had yet to move, Robin didn't want to test her luck and attack that one though.
"All right, on the count of three we all make a run for the sandcastle exit." Robin whispered loudly to her small group. The Buneary and the Monferno nodded at that but they never let their gaze leave the Sudowoodo. "One." The three of them tensed getting ready to run. "Two." Robin counted slowly, she frowned slightly as she heard a small sound coming from what she assumed was the cave area. "Thre--Wait!" That sound turned out to be a group of small scared looking pokemon peaking out from the cave. "There are other pokemon back there! We need to rescue them Ace." Without another thought she took off making a sort of mad dash to the small cave entrance on the other side of the landing.
If smashing the lab window had been satisfying before, the sound of the icy, brittle glass shattering from the crowbar strike was that much sweeter. Kasiya could see now just how thick the glass of the capsule had actually been, but it was of little importance as it now lay in chunks on the ground. Logically, she knew that she should be exercising caution as she started to remove the stray pieces of glass from on and around her Pokemon's body but she rushed a little, managing to avoid cutting Shocker completely though the same couldn't be said for her own hands. She grit her teeth and ignored the pain as she was sure it was nothing compared to what the poor Raichu had gone through. "Don't worry, Shocker, you're almost out of there," she said gently, tossing another handful of glass to the floor. The commotion of the breaking class had caused the mouse to stir a little, though she didn't quite awaken just yet. Ariel watched her trainer carefully, fins twitching with worry for both her teammate, and her trainer's bleeding hands. Kasiya looked up at the Vaporeon and managed a shaky smile. "Don't worry, I'm fine," she said reassuringly.
With the glass cleared, the last obstacle was the wires attached to Shocker's cheeks that both monitored and collected her electricity. She had no idea what the monitors or any of the numbers meant, but she did know that she had to remove them. "Okay, this won't be fun," she murmured, reaching for the wire but pulling back as a spark crackled from the Mouse Pokemon. She took a deep breath and quickly peeled off the little sticky thing that held the wire in place, finding it came off easier than she thought it would. Having something ripped off your face wasn't a pleasant feeling for anyone and it was enough to wake Shocker. Her eyes flashed open, and on sheer defensive instinct, loosed a flare of electricity as she had not forgotten where she was. Being less than a foot from the electric rodent, both Kasiya and Ariel found themselves being struck by the electric attack. Ariel gave a pained cry as she was sent to the floor, shaking slightly as she had never really been a fan of electricity. Kasiya was knocked back some as well, stumbling back against a shelf which then proceeded to drop most of its contents onto the floor around her. More stunned than hurt, Kasiya staggered to her feet, looking to Shocker as she was standing now, as well. Her eyes were wild with fright and sparks seemed to shoot off in all directions as her heart rate had no doubt skyrocketed. She yanked the few remaining wires from her body, which made the corresponding machines sound off a sort of alarm, and jumped to the ground, avoiding the glass as she looked around frantically.
"Shocker!" Kasiya cried somewhat weakly. "Calm down! It's us! We're here to save you!" She raised her hands to show that she meant no harm and moved closer to her beloved mouse, who stared back at her with wide eyes before she shook her head defiantly. She'd had this dream before, about being rescued or breaking free, and every time, without fail, she'd awaken to find herself back in that horrible little contraption, her electricity being sucked dry. She knew that any moment now, she'd wake up and find herself staring into Giovanni's cold, cruel eyes. He'd been right all along - Kasiya was never coming to save her! The Raichu gave a fierce cry and loosed a Thunderbolt at the girl as she fully believed her to be a figment of her exhausted imagination. Kasiya was too surprised by the turn of events to move and likely would have been seriously hurt had there not been a sudden flash of green. Fang had intervened, essentially punting his trainer out of the way only to get struck by the Thunderbolt instead. Screeching somewhat weakly, Fang drifted to the floor, twitching slightly.
=-=-=-=-= It was definitely reassuring to know that Keegan was feeling just as broken as she was, and Flannery smirked as they headed back out to the battle area. "Yeah, but can we stop talking about your butt already? It's starting to get old." It did feel nice to laugh again, however, even if she was a bit surprised to see just how many people had showed up for this seemingly random match. Mr. Summers had challenged Keegan to a battle? It was almost too much to believe, as in all the years she'd known the Summers' family, he'd never so much as mentioned being a trainer before. Perhaps she'd learn the whole story later, but for now, she had a match to preside over.
Everyone was in their right place now and Flannery felt kind of awesome to be sitting up and above everyone, as it wasn't everyday that she got to judge a match - normally she was one of the challengers, though she noted quickly that Keegan was standing in her position. "This is an unofficial battle between Keegan Summers and.. T... Uh... Mr. Summers," she called out warily, finding herself unable to call the man by his first name, even if it was for official-sounding reasons. She cleared her throat and tried to quell her embarrassment. "Anyway, yeah! This battle will be three on three, with substitutions being allowed, while items are not! There will be no time limit, as the battle will conclude when one all of one side's Pokemon have been knocked out! Let the battle begin!"
=-=-=-=-= Erika was certain this battle would become a little more interesting now that Exeggutor's speed had been boosted by the Sunny Day, as she was curious just to find out how fast her Grass-type had become in comparison to the golden Fearow. The bright sunshine highlighted his feathers and made him look quite radiant, and even Erika was impressed by the sight of him, and she allowed it to show in her eyes. He was sure fast, as well, so it would be fun to see how this would play out. Quite obviously Crenu had trained with Pet Shop quite a bit and Erika could appreciate and respect that, though it did pain her slightly to think that she was underestimating him, and vice versa. She thought they had been on amicable terms, at the very least. She watched as the golden bird swooped in. "Wood Hammer," she called as the bird drew nearer, hoping it would be too late for him to change his trajectory. Exeggutor readied himself, giving a loud cry as he took the hit head on, and instantly retaliated with a fearful strike of his own, smashing his body toward the Fearow like an overgrown baseball bat.
Some time after they had taken flight, Nina and Sabrina found themselves landing in Viridian City; as Nina dismounted Krystal and recalled the Dragon into her ball, she looked around at the familiar setting, recalling her previous little stints with this city involving a certain member of Team Rocket. She and her sister were relatively close to the entrance of Viridian Forest, but she didn't spot Whitney anywhere in the vicinity. "I wonder where the genius ended up?" she asked, looking around, not terribly concerned-- she was more curious than anything else. Between the combined intelligence of her Dodrio's brains, they should be intelligent enough to get the girl to her destination. With a bit of a sigh, Sabrina cracked her neck. "I can't say that I'm terribly surprised that we're waiting on her; I do wonder how long she will be, however." The girl absentmindedly examined her nails; barely a few moments had passed, however, before three very distinct squawks were heard in the distance, seeming to be coming from above them. Looking up, the psychic saw a brown figure coming into view, descending towards the earth. "It appears I spoke too soon." Making an over-excited whooping noise, Whitney still bore a large grin as she neared the ground; "Heeeeey guys!" she hollered, Rio's descent continuing. "Sorry for keeping you waitiiing!" When it was safe enough for her to do so, she let go of Rio's legs, landing on the ground surprisingly gracefully; she recalled her squawking Pokemon, returning its Pokeball to her belt. With a satiated sigh, the girl put her hands on her hips as Science descended from the air a few moments later, taking his place at his Trainer's side. "Sorry about that!" she repeated. "I thought we'd have gotten here before you guys; Rio's super fast at flying!" Nina wore a smile of intrigue and confusion; "I honestly wouldn't have guessed that," she replied. "Didn't Rio have a different method of flying before?" Whitney nodded. "He did! He used to... erm, well, he used to flap his tail feathers and sort of run through the air. That worked and all, but it wasn't as fast, which is why I like this method better! Plus, his heads make a fun noise when they're spinning! They're all, chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka-chucka!" She giggled, amused at her own sound effects. A typical roll of Nina's eyes and a smile preceded a question-- "Shall we be going, then? Courtney needs to get a little bit of training in before we take Brock on!" After a vigorous nod from Whitney and a few choice beeps from Science, the girls headed northward, entering the Viridian Forest.
It wasn't long after entering the forest that Science began beeping a bit madly-- however, this was different than his usual beeping patterns, and Whitney picked up on that. "Science?" she asked. "What is it? What's wrong?" The Porygon continued beeping frenetically; it looked worriedly at its surroundings. "Anna, can you talk to him for me?" Whitney asked. "Can you tell me what he's saying?" Anna, who was at Nina's side, tilted her head to as she looked at Whitney, then to Science, and then back to Whitney. "Well, I can," she began, "but the last time I tried talking to him, I couldn't really understand him. Or well, I could, but what he was saying didn't make sense to me." Concerned, the Gym Leader repeated her request. "Even if it doesn't make sense, I'd just-- I'd like to know what he's trying to say. Please." With a small nod, the Ghost redirected her attention to the obviously distressed Porygon; she listened to his repetitive beeping noises for several moments, but wore a puzzled expression. "He's... well, he's communicating differently than before; previously when I tried talking to him, he only responded with either short or long beeps, but this time he's actually talking-- he's saying the words "one" and "zero," but in a kind of random order. I don't understand." Sabrina's interest immediately piqued. "One and zero?" she repeated. "I'll wager anything that he's speaking in binary; that would make sense for a computerized Pokemon, after all." Sabrina approached Nina and opened her bag, withdrawing a pen and a pad and flipping to a clean page. "Anna, I want you to tell me everything that he is saying. I know it won't make sense to you, but just... whatever he's saying, please repeat it to me." After agreeing to do so, Anna relayed everything that Science was saying; it was around a minute later that Sabrina had scrawled out a short message comprised entirely of ones and zeros. She studied the message for a brief time, concentrating carefully to ensure that she deciphered it correctly; when she was certain she had, however, she blinked a few times and didn't say anything for a moment. "Sabrina?" Nina asked. "Sabrina, what is it? What was Science trying to tell us?" The psychic blinked a few more times, returning the pad and pen to her sister.
"Danger. He was saying the word 'danger.'" Whitney looked from Sabrina to her Porygon. "Danger?" she echoed. "Are you sure that's what he was saying?" Sabrina nodded once or twice. "I'm absolutely positive. What sort of danger he was referring to, however, is what I'm not sure of; regardless, however, it's curious that he's that perceptive." Despite Nina being impressed with Science's perception as well, she was starting to feel antsy at the news. "If that's really the case, then maybe we should move on out of the forest and make our way for the Gym. We'll be safe there." Not receiving any objections, the girls began heading northward, starting their trek out of the forest.
"Ms. Nina! Ms. Sabrina, Ms. Whitney! Please, please wait for me!" Nina whirled around as she heard the familiar sound of Anne's voice; the girl hurriedly rushed toward the party, looking over her shoulder for a moment as she ran. Upon catching up with the girls, she doubled over briefly, breathing a bit heavily. "I-- thank goodness I came across you!" she said in between labored breaths. "Anne, what's the matter?!" Whitney exclaimed. "And-- why are you here? How are you here?" The blonde waved her hand once or twice as she stood up, collecting herself. "A very short time after you left the food court, I did as well," she said, "because I received a call that a friend of mine from Pewter was in danger!" Nina flinched at the word 'danger.' "What sort of danger?" she inquired; it seemed as though Science wasn't wrong after all. "I-- I'm not sure on the details! I didn't have time enough to ask for them, and my bigger concern was getting to her as soon as I possibly could to ensure that she was safe!" Sabrina rested her right hand against her right cheek. "Why not just go directly to Pewter?" she asked. "It would be much faster than dragging yourself through the forest beforehand, especially if you're in such a rush." Anne shook her head. "I wanted to go with you all, in case it was too much for me to handle! I remember you saying that you wanted to go to Viridian Forest, Nina, because you wanted to train up your Pokemon, and I thought that maybe I could catch up to you in time and that we could go together." Sabrina eyed the girl warily, remaining silent for a moment or two. "...We did not inform you that we were going to the forest first."
Anne's expression of terror seemed to fade rather quickly from her face; her lips curled up into a somewhat devious smile. "Oops," she replied, "so you didn't. It is of little consequence, however, as I have you right where I want you, Sabrina-- or, should I say, Vanessa?" Nina's blood froze and she saw an expression of fear run over Whitney. "No," Nina said. "No, no no no. Sabrina, the only people who knew you as Vanessa were--"
Anne's clothing was rather simple-- she was dressed in a white button-up shirt and a knee-length skirt, but those clothes began transforming before the girls' eyes. Her shirt changed from a white button-up to a black v-neck, while her skirt shifted to a pair of skin-tight red jeans. A long red jacket of a slightly darker shade found itself manifesting over the girl's shirt; it was open in the front, and it ran to the back of her knees. A moment later, the girl's short hair converted, lock by lock, from that of a soft blonde color to a powerful red hue, and it revealed its true length to reach past her shoulders. The girl flicked her hair over her shoulder, letting it fall where it may.
"Only six people knew of you as Vanessa-- those people were Maorde Menskr, Sheila Gregoire, Ingrid Roswell, Carrie Laurel, Emily Smith... and me. Nina, Whitney, please allow me to introduce myself; my name is Phoenix Iverson, and I am here to make all of you pay for what you have done... but my main focus is you, Sabrina."
The girls squeezed in a few more moments of happy hand-holding and goofy smiles before the doors opened and they had to just be friends again. Natalie jumped with a squeak that matched the 'ding' of the elevator and rubbed her butt, looking at a not-so-innocent Sasha, who snuck in one last pinch for the road. Any sort of frustration melted when it sunk in that she had to leave. She really didn't want to.
"I had a great time." she said softly, fidgeting in place.
"Me too." Sasha said sweetly, leaning in and giving the girl a casual peck on the cheek. Doe practically gasped, but Sasha played it cool, chuckling in admiration. She could have explained it was a cultural thing to give a farewell kiss on the cheek, and that it was completely acceptable, but then she would miss out on all this adorable squirming. "Call me sometime." she traced her eyes to the girl's pants pocket that housed the device, smirking to remind the girl about the little gift she left. Natalie nodded rapidly, and turned, walking quickly towards the door. Sasha counted the steps and raised her chin expectantly, smiling once again as the brown-haired sweet heart turned for one last look before disappearing into the revolving door. Ugh, she was so cute. Sasha was quite proud of herself for the whole affair, she really needed that night.
But now to business. Sasha stepped out of the elevator and made her way over to the cafe, where she could clearly see Bishop reading the morning paper through the glass. Every morning it was the same: coffee, a croissant and the news. Bishop always tried to keep abreast of the current affairs, even if it wasn't in the region he lived in, just in case. Sasha grinned knowingly as she saw across from him was the same setting, save for a dab of strawberry jam spread over her roll.
"(Hello again, Bishop.)" Sasha said before taking her seat. "(I am sorry to have made you wait.)" She stiffened her posture to match his, knowing full well she would be chastised otherwise.
"(It is of no consequence, miss.)" Bishop replied calmly. He lowered the top half of the newspaper as he spoke. "(I trust your breakfast was satisfactory for you and your guest?)" Sasha proceeded to elaborately tell him just how satisfactory it was, complete with her usual energy and flailing arms. The old man's eyes betrayed the smile hidden behind the paper. "(Your coffee is prepared just as you like it, I hope. Cream and three sugars, was it?)"
"(Yup!)" Sasha beamed after taking a sip. Very sweet. Despite being quite full from her meal earlier, she chanced a bite of the croissant. If she exploded from too much food, it would at least be a delicious death. Thankfully, she lived through the first bite, but chose not to risk a second for a few minutes. And here came the fun part of the conversation. Sasha dabbed her lips with her napkin and crossed her legs. "(How did you find me?)" she asked finally.
"(We received a phone call from the desk after you booked your room.") the butler replied. "(Surely you did not think you would not draw attention to yourself by revealing your identity in one of your family's own hotels?)"
"(I was not aware you hired employees who cannot utilize discretion.)" Sasha said, running her finger along the rim of her cup. Bishop sighed.
"(You know your father dislikes when you dress like that. Especially when they are in such a poor.)" Sasha let out a huffy 'hm', at the comment.
"(He also dislikes it when I run away.)" she said, making sure Bishop heard that particular sip of coffee. "(Father doesn't always get what he wants.)"
Pet Shop's golden shimmer was not lost on Crenu either, and for a moment he wished his Fearow could utilize Sunny Day on his own as that was sure to earn some appeal in a contest. But this wasn't contest time, it was a gym battle and his focus had to remain on the field. Though it wasn't displayed yet as Exeggutor was just standing there, he was almost certain it was carrying packing Chlorophyll. And if so, he wasn't sure just how fast the large tree had become. Watching intently as Pet Shop swopped in for the strike, Erika was already set to counter calling out for a wood hammer. No Sooner had Pet Shop plowed into the trunk like body of the Coconut Pokemon before he felt the weight of the world come crashing down on him. Were conditions normal he might have been able to avoid such a hit, or at least keep it from being direct, but the Exeggutor moved at such blinding speed that Pet Shop couldn't react, it seemed almost instantaneous and it was clear that this bulky tree was now even faster than he was. Despite resisting the grass type move, Wood Hammer was indeed very strong and the shiny Fearow certainly felt the crushing damage radiate through his body as he was pinned to the gym floor, cawing out a loud cry of pain and discomfort. He felt like he might even pass out as the wind was knocked out of him, but the proud bird wasn't going to give in so easily, nor would Crenu let him. Fly wasn't a particularly week attack either, especially with the type match up, trading blows wasn't normally something a Fearow should engage in but things weren't totally bleak at the moment. "Pick yourself up and Ariel Ace." Pet Shop struggled underneath the heavy Exeggutor, unwilling to surrender to the dopey tree who dared drag his wonderful plumage through the filthy grass. His gaze sharpened as he mustered up all his strength, squeezing out from under the palm tree and shooting upwards. He wasn't going to let some false speed show him up, he was the king of the sky! With an angry squawk the beak pokemon suddenly dove again even faster than before, his body seeming to vanish as he pushed his speed to a different level as he homed in on his opponent with his never fail move.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jason was at a loss, he didn't know how to react or what to do! All he knew was that there was now an Onix barreling through the earth at his own, but he didn't know from where or even when the strike would come. How could Roark battle like this? Totally blind, not able to give direction really. Leaving it totally up to the pokemon, that was a lot of trust and confidence he had in his Onix. "...wait, that's it! I have faith in Atlas too, he's my friend and I know I can trust him. Atlas use Bind when you get the chance!" Atlas heard Jason loud and clear, but what was he going to bind? Earth? There was nothing around him, and he couldn't see the other Onix anywhere. He could feel some rumbling in the dirt but he was far too new to all this to be able to accurately navigate. So he did all he could and remained still. He didn't know from where it was coming, but the earth beside him suddenly burst as the other Onix smashed into him from out of nowhere! Atlas clenched his jaw as he took the hit, having become so bulky his body took the strike well and bounced it off effectively, letting out a roar as he swung his tail around blindly where he'd gotten hit to try and wrap it around the enemy Onix. Jason meanwhile was up above, having no clue weather or not it was a success.
How did it get so sunny over here! What was this? The other side wasn’t so sunny! Groaning The Dusclops headed over to the shade. It was a little better but not much. As far as the ghost was concerned it was much too bright to be outside, he defiantly wasn't the outdoors sort of pokemon, no sir, well at least not if the sun was out. Doing his best to ignore the weird looks he was getting Kenny did his best to start keeping an eye out for his trainer. There were a lot of people on this route though, Kenny had to admit to himself he couldn’t tell humans apart very well, he thought it was a ghost thing really, he didn’t exactly see the world like most mortal pokemon. While how he did see things led to lots of helpful insights it did not make recognizing different people and reading what humans called writing very easy, still he was pretty sure he would be able to recognize his trainer. So Kenny set about the task of exploring route and keeping an eye out for his wayward trainer.
The route itself was a sunny nightmare for the poor ghost pokemon. There were people everywhere, most of them were giving him weird looks. Well Kenny could give them weird looks right back. Especially since a lot of them were doing some sort of fitness activity. There were people ridding around on bikes and running or hiking up the rocky side. The Dusclops just watched them with his one eye clutching Dante's bag closer to himself. Kenny wasn't even sure where or how to start looking. This route had lots of little rocky areas and then there were cliff like areas to, Looking around Kenny tried to figure out some sort of plan as to how to look for his trainer better. Tapping one disembodied hand on a nearby rock Kenny looked all around him hoping an idea would strike.
Eventually Kenny came to a decision, it wasn't the best but it was really all he had. There were two heights on this route, he would just have to take the higher ground and see if he could see him from there. Floating through the cliff wall he was currently walking in the shade of he headed up to the sunny topside. He would brave the sun for Dante, even if he didn't like it.
Robin barely made it past the now angry Sudowoodo, rocks were flying towards her as she dived down towards the cave just barely able to make it inside. Huffing for air Robin glanced back and let out a surprised and upset cry at the sight. She now knew why none of the rocks had hit her. Her brave Monferno was batting them aside, a few of them were making it through though and smashing into her brave Monferno who was defending the scared cowering Buneary. "Ace no! Hold on!" Ignoring the fact that she was in safety she ran back out again ignoring the pain of the rocks hitting her own body now. Still she couldn't let her pokemon get hurt like that. Grabbing his hand she gave him a pained grin before scooping the Buneary and they made a mad dash back to the cave.
The three of them landed hard on the ground puffing for air after their desperate run back to safety. Now though Robin could have a look at what exactly was in the cave. Still a bit out of breath she waited as her eyes adjusted to the darkness only to be greeted by a bunch of other wide eyes looking at her and Ace in amazement. "Oh, hello." She breathed out giving them a warm if a bit shaky smile.
~~~~~~~~~~
Jason's Onix's attack worked and didn't work both at the same time. Roarks Onix was faster now then Jasons seeing as it wasn't weighed down by the extra bulk so it mostly managed to escape the younger Onix's Bind attack. Not all the way though. Atlas had managed to wrap itself around his tail stopping him from really leaving but he didn't take as much damage as he would have if it had hit him mid body. Roarks Onix growled slightly as it tried to ignore the crushing pain around his tail. He needed to escape somehow, right now he was just a sitting Psyduck just waiting for the other to hit him.
Outside Roark looked down at the ground their pokemon were fighting under, something was wrong under ground. He couldn't explain why but he just knew it. Frowning slightly Roark briefly wondered what he should do. "Onix use Psych Up." He said after a moment. At the very least he could copy all of Jason's bulk up moves. Roark just hoped it would be enough.
Underground Onix heard his trainers command and felt a bit of relief, he could always count on Roark to think of something to help him. Grunting slightly he felt himself bulk up to match the other Onix. While he felt tougher all ready that still didn't get him out of this mess. It was a start though.

Bishop folded his paper and placed it on the table, gently rubbing his temples at Sasha's dismissive attitude. "(Miss, please be reasonable. You know very well that your father just wants what he feels is best for you.)"
"(Keeping me stuck at home and not letting me experience the world around me is hardly what's best.)" Sasha replied, furrowing her brow. "(It isn't fair to ask that of me.)"
"(I-)" Bishop began before stopping himself. It was time for a different approach. He reached into his coat pocket, an action that Sasha watched intently, her eyes and smile widening as the butler pulled out two heavily weathered sticks. The tops were a natural hickory colored, separated from a black bottom with a pink tip with a small metal band.
"(You brought them!)" Sasha all but shouted, holding out her hands excitedly as she bounced in her seat. "(My old drum sticks!)" In her haste to run away, she had completely forgotten them at home, and didn't dare risk going back to get them. With a smile, Bishop handed the sticks over to a positively overjoyed Sasha, who twirled them in her hands before starting a simple beat on the table. It was in that moment, that simple tapping sound, that Bishop saw the familiar spark in her eyes that he had grown to cherish over his years of watching over her. It was the same look she would get when he would tell her bed-time stories of his old Pokemon adventures, or when he secretly purchased those very sticks for her when her parents refused to buy her a drum set. To him, she would always be that bright-eyed little girl with a heart and dreams far too large to be cooped up in some board room. If it was only his decision. He would have her smile like this every day, living the life she wanted. Alas, it was not. "(Bishop!)" The old man snapped out of his thoughts. Sasha had stopped her playing, and looked at him, expectantly.
"(Oh yes.)" he mumbled, clearing his throat. "(My apologies.)" After a brief pause, the old man offered his usual musical input, a single finger tapping an evenly paced beat, like a metronome. Sasha beamed once again before going back to her tapping, and the two quietly jammed out in the cafe, receiving the occasional odd look from the patrons.
After a few minutes of this Sasha stopped, letting out a satisfied breath. Playing always helped her think. When put to a simple beat, her thoughts flowed more evenly, like lyrics to the song of her life. She looked down at the sticks, then up at Bishop, remembering the day nearly ten years ago when she found them hiding under her pillow after a giant argument with her parents over taking drumming lessons instead of piano. She and Bishop had secret jam sessions ever since. She smiled, with no small measure of guilt mixed into her expression for being so rude to him. All he ever did was look out for her, and at times she felt he was more of a father to her than her actual one. Bah, she thought simply. Sasha opened her mouth to speak, but was stopped when Bishop held out an open palm.
"(No need, miss.)" he said with a shake of his head. "(I should have known that showing up and just demanding your father's wishes was a poor approach.)"
"(Yeah,)" Sasha replied, wearing a coy smirk. "(It's that sort of thing that caused me to run in the first place. You know me better than that!)" Now to solve this minor issue of her entire future. She certainly didn't want to go back home and sit through countless etiquette lessons. If she had to be drilled on what fork was to be used for salad and exactly why the same couldn't be used for her entree, someone was getting stabbed. The girl pursed her lips in thought, looking to the ceiling and tapping a beat with a single stick. "(Okay.)" she said after a moment. "(I know a way we can decide this.)"
"(Miss?)"
"(A battle.)" Sasha said, leaning back in her seat. "(I win, I get to continue my journey. You win, I go back home.)"

Keegan fidgeted nervously as he watched Flannery take up her post, and it was easy to see that she seemed to be enjoying her temporary position. Her little blunder with his father's name made him smirk and he kicked at the dirt with his shoe, wondering which three Pokemon his father would use. He felt a sudden, sharp stab of panic a sudden realization hit him - what if he used The Dame? Sure, the Charizard had seen better, younger days but she was still one of the strongest Pokemon he'd ever seen and he was sure she could crush all of his Pokemon with a mere swat of her tail. Anything but her, he thought, eying his old man across the battlefield as he tried to gauge which of them would send out a Pokemon first.
Todd seemed to read his son's expressions like a book, offering up a coy, devious grin that seemed all too familiar to the younger Summers. Keegan had also noticed that the man's posture had changed as he looked a lot more relaxed and at ease than normal. "My first Pokemon will be this one," he said, his movements almost invisible as the sphere was tossed out.
Keegan's uneasy feeling faded as the creature took shape, and he let out an audible groan. The Dark/Fire-type was familiar to him, but he hadn't known that she was capable of battling. Then again, there was a lot he didn't know about his parents, apparently. "Why is it always Houndooms?" he sighed, shaking his head. Since his run-in with Mitsu's Sapphire, his taste for the species had declined significantly. The easy thing to do would have been to send out Althena or Tierra, but he didn't feel like taking that route today so instead he released Loki, his trickster of an Arbok. The Cobra Pokemon flared his hood and hissed at the canine before him, causing it to take a small step back in hesitation. Intimidate in all its glory, Keegan thought, wondering if he should be the one to make the first move.
That, of course, would soon be answered as Todd took the initiative. "Thunder Fang," he barked, the authority in his voice sending a chill down Keegan's spine, despite the natural heat of the Lavaridge Gym. With a snarl, the Houndoom sprang into action, her claws tearing into the ground for traction as she closed the distance between herself and Loki, jaws already crackling with static as she prepared for the electrified bite.
"Loki, Dig!" Keegan shouted almost instantly in response, and with a taunting hiss, the Arbok dove into the ground; Houndoom's electrified jaws only just missing snapping shut on the end of his long tail. The canine loosed a growl, prowling around the area in which Loki had disappeared. Keegan chanced a glance across the arena at his old man, but Todd was also watching the mound of earth intently. This isn't going to be easy, is it? the redhead thought nervously. ===== Miharu's eyes darted from Leroy, to her Ponyta, to her Pinsir, and then back to Leroy again, his words taking a moment to register as she wasn't exactly able to think clearly. "Wait, did you say Team Rocket?" she asked, taking a few steps back. "You're not... you mean you're with them? Team Rocket?" She'd heard about the organization before, but she never thought she'd end up facing any of them.
"Yes," he answered coolly, opening his jacket to reveal the black uniform shirt, its signature crimson R in the center. "Let's not make this any more difficult than it already is. Give me your Pokemon, and you can walk away from this, unharmed."
Miharu felt a wave of nausea pass over her and she swayed a bit on her feet as her brain tried to process this. "You've been deceiving me, then," she said, the realization hitting her like a brick wall. "I thought you were my friend, I-I th-thought..." she trailed off, feeling utterly foolish and embarrassed. "I thought.. you liked me. I thought..."
Lee frowned, and shook his head. "I know what you thought, Miharu. And that is why I am relieving you of your Pokemon." He snapped his wrist, and his Zangoose appeared in a flash of light. "Call them off," he said, gesturing to the Pinsir and Ponyta. "I don't want to hurt them."
The girl shook her head. "I don't care if you're Team Rocket or Team Rainbow, you're not getting my Pokemon!" She felt that fire build up inside again and she glared at the Rocket. She knew that her best option would be to cause a distraction and make a run for it, as she'd be safe at the Pokemon Center, but she was more than a bit outmatched here as she recalled that Zangoose was one of Lee's tougher Pokemon. "Mori, Flamethrower!" The Ponyta gave a whinny, her mane flaring up brightly as a jet of flames streaked out towards the Cat Ferret Pokemon.

Bishop was taken aback by the sudden challenge, and was about to answer when Sasha took one last bite of her croissant, got up and walked out the door. "(B-but miss!)" he called out after her in a futile attempt to stop her. "(You know I haven't-!)" Too late. She was gone. "(...battled since before you were born.)" he muttered that last part to himself, looking down at the table. What to do about this, the old man asked himself, placing a hand to his chest. He felt the familiar weight of a single Pokeball in his pocket; his first capture, and last remaining Pokemon. It was true, he had been a trainer, but that was long ago. Too long. It seemed like another lifetime. However, as distant as that life was from him now, the anxiety and excitement from a potential battle washed over him with nostalgic clarity, sending a chill through his old bones. He withdrew the faded Pokeball from his pocket and studied it, picturing the creature inside. "(Well old friend,)" he said to the ball. "(Do you think we have one more fight left in us?)" Call him crazy, but he was sure he felt the device rumble in response. Closing his hand around the ball, Bishop quickly gathered the plates from the meal and placed them on the counter, thanked the server, and walked to the door.
As he stepped outside he saw Sasha, standing several dozen yards away, her hands on her hips as she smirked back at him. A small crowd had gathered around, no doubt sensing that a battle was about to take place. That or she had made a spectacle and announced it. It was most likely the latter, he thought.
"(One on one.)" she stated, holding a Pokeball of her own. "(If I lose, I'll come home. No muss, no fuss.)" With a click of the center button, the ball enlarged.
"(I accept your terms, miss.)" Bishop said, bowing to his opponent. Paying no attention to the now increasing crowd, the butler raised his hand. It was trembling ever so slightly. His beard hid a smile as he flicked his wrist with practiced grace. "(I call upon you, Bayard!)" In a shower of light, an Alakazam of seemingly equal age appeared. Its trademark mustache was streaked with grey, and a pair of spectacles rested loosely on the bridge of his nose. The Alakazam looked back at his trainer with a simple glance and turned back to focus on the girl, gripping his surprisingly well-kept spoons. Sasha recognized the Pokemon, of course. Bayard would frequently assist Bishop with tasks around the house, moreso as the butler began to show his age. He was a friendly, quiet Pokemon that resembled his trainer in more ways than one. Not once had she seen him battle, but that was about to change. Part of her felt bad for what she was about to do to the elderly Pokemon, but it had to be done.
Sorry, Bayard. she thought. "(Go Prickles!)" With a bounce and a toss, she released her odd Cacturne, who shook himself awake, eyeing the Pokemon before him.
"(Oh my,)" Bishop said, leaning forward to examine the prickly combatant. "(That's an unfamiliar one.)" If only he still had his PokeDex. He paused for a moment, both he and his Alakazam steeling themselves. "(Bayard?)" the butler began. "(Let us begin with a-)"
"(A Sucker Punch?)" Sasha interrupted, her giddy tone revealing a pre-meditated strategy. "(I agree!)" Prickles ran forward, drawing back a spiny fist. Bishop smiled at the girl's impulsiveness.
"(-a Reflect.)" He finished with a loud snap of his fingers.
"(A what?)" Bayard closed his eyes and rotated his shoulders, muttering a short incantation before his eyelids snapped open, a semi-opaque barrier appearing before him. Having lost the element of surprise, Prickles stumbled back to his starting position, as equally embarrassed as his trainer.
"(A Dark type.)" Bishop said, stroking his beard. "(Very sneaky, miss. You had this planned all along.)" Sasha shrugged innocently.
"(Maaaybe.)" she lied. "(I know it may seem a bit unfair since Bayard is your only Pokemon, but all is fair in love and war.)"
"(Indeed.)" Bishop replied with an understanding nod. "(I say we make it that much more fair.)" He snapped his fingers. "(Bayard. Miracle Eye.)" The Alakazam let out a soft grunt, narrowing his eyes at Prickles. There was a quick flash of blue around both Pokemon, and the Cacturne suddenly felt very vulnerable.
"(O-oh.)" Sasha said, her stomach curling into a knot. "(s**t.)"
"(You watch your language, young lady.)"

"Oh no, Fang!" Kasiya cried, crouching down beside her Crobat. Fang cried out weakly and tried to flutter his wings, but a ripple of static over his body kept him grounded. "Paralyzed," the girl muttered, looking over at her disoriented Raichu as she had turned and started attacking the nearest lab equipment, easily busting it to pieces with a solid Iron Tail. Kasiya grit her teeth and called back the poor paralyzed Crobat into his Pokeball, as she didn't want him getting zapped unnecessarily, and especially if he couldn't properly defend himself. "Thank you, Fang," she said quietly, standing up and looking over at Ariel. The Vaporeon had gotten to her feet and had surrounded herself with a veil of water - Aqua Ring - to help offset the damage she'd taken from shocker's electricity. Her tail lashed out and she looked to Kasiya. They had to calm the Raichu down before she hurt herself, or any more of them.
"Shocker, stop!" Kasiya cried, her voice trembling. Ariel cried out right along with her, but their voices fell on deaf ears as the distraught Raichu let loose a concentrated bolt of lightning into the ceiling, effortlessly punching a hole through it - Kasiya was sure it had been Thunder. "Shocker!" Kasiya cried again, taking a step forward. Another set of machines bit the dust as the mouse tore into them with a series of Brick Breaks, and somewhere in the back of her mind, Kasiya wondered if Giovanni had good insurance. "It's okay, baby! We're getting you out of here! Calm down! It's us! It's me! It's Kasiya! I'm going to save you, Shocker!" The mouse turned to face her, eyes still wild and she let another bolt fly at the girl, only she was so worked up that Kasiya didn't have to try all that hard to avoid it. From behind her, Kasiya heard Hiro utter a low growl as he'd crept forward, intent on protecting Kasiya and his other teammates from harm, even if it was from one of their own.
"Hiro, no!" Kasiya said, putting her hand on his nose. "It's okay; she's just scared and confused, and hurt, and alone." Tears streamed down the blonde's cheeks as she spoke. "I should have... I should have come for you sooner, Shocker! I'm so sorry!" Reluctantly, the Arcanine backed down as Kasiya continued to move closer to the hysteric mouse. Shocker let off another flare of electricity, which might have been a Discharge, but it was very weak, fizzling out before it could make any sort of distance or impact on her surroundings. Kasiya gave a weak smile at that - she must have been out of electricity. "It's okay, Shocker," she said, now only a few feet from the mouse. "You're safe now." She dropped to her knees and held out her arms, Ariel still alert at her side. The Vaporeon gave a soft cry, not caring that her best friend was glaring daggers at her. They were so very close. Shocker took a step forward, going through the motions of trying to fry the two with several Thunderbolts, but, as Kasiya had realized, she was out of electricity. Panting heavily, she continued to watch the two, unable to believe that she hadn't woken up yet.
"Come on, Shocker, let's get you out of here," Kasiya continued to urge. "You're safe now. Giovanni can't hurt you any more. Believe me, Shocker! It's really me! I'm here... we're here! Just look." Shocker stared hard at the girl and the Vaporeon beside her, and she took a step forward. Ouch! She felt a sharp pain in her foot and she stepped back, lifting it up to look. She'd stepped on a small piece of glass and it had cut into the sole of her foot. It was a curious sensation mostly, as none of her other dreams had ever caused her pain before. If that was the case however, then perhaps she wasn't dreaming? The realization slammed her harder than any attack she'd ever taken in all the battles she'd ever been in. That really was Kasiya over there, and Ariel, too! And Fang, and Hiro, though she wasn't quite sure about the other two. The important thing was that her trainer was actually here, and she gave a pained cry. Tears slid down the Raichu's face as well and she bounded forward, ignoring the glass on the floor as she jumped into Kasiya's outstretched arms, and suddenly, all was right with the world again as the trainer hugged her crying Pokemon tightly. "It's all right... I've got you."
=-=-=-=-= It was true that the Fly attack had been damaging to Exeggutor, as was the recoil he received from using Wood Hammer. Regardless, the attack was satisfying and Erika was happy with her Pokemon's performance thus far as they'd at least been able to damage the Fearow. Crenu quickly called for an Aerial Ace, however, and Erika knew this move would not miss in the conventional sense. The best battles, however, were far from conventional, and the gym leader smiled, watching as the golden streak that was the Fearow drew nearer and nearer. "Stun Spore," she said quickly, and Exeggutor loosed a cloud of glittering, yellow spores right in front of him. The Coconut Pokemon gave a cry as the attack hit home, causing serious damage and he staggered back, but hopefully the self-sacrifice had been worth it and the Stun Spore had been effective.

Kasiya wasn't sure just how long she sat there on the floor, clutching Shocker tightly against her while the Raichu sobbed, but it sure felt like hours. Eventually, however, Shocker did calm down and she pulled back, looking up at her trainer's face with a weak smile. Kasiya laughed a little and kissed her on the nose. "I'm sorry, Shocker, I'm so sorry. I'll never let anything bad happen to you ever again. I'm so sorry." She kissed the Raichu's face at least a dozen more times before Shocker stopped her, holding her trainer's cheeks with her adorable little paws. Her expression seemed to say 'Now you stop that right now' and they both laughed as Kasiya got to her feet. A relieved Ariel gave a heavy sigh and looked up at the pair with teary eyes, and Shocker looked down at her oldest friend and waved eagerly before jumping down and throwing her arms around the Vaporeon. The two giggled like cute little schoolgirls.
Shocker then greeted Hiro in a similar fashion, with the Arcanine whining like a happy little pup, complete with an eagerly wagging tail. When her gaze fell on Sirrus and Levi, her happiness faded into confusion. Kasiya opened her mouth to clarify but Shocker suddenly realized that the big blue fishy thing was actually Levi - holy crap had she ever gotten big! The big-eyed buggy dragon thing was another story, and she pointed at him, giving her trainer a questionable look. "That's Sirrus. He's Mai's," she said, shrugging. "Let's just say he was my leverage for getting you back, but now he's still mostly, well, leverage." Sirrus gave a squeal of delight, despite having really only understood his name out of everything Kasiya had said. Shocker congratulated Levi on her evolution and introduced herself to the happy Flygon. Even Fang came back out of his Pokeball for the reunion, and for once, Hiro didn't even mind that the Crobat was perched on his head.
Kasiya gave the Pokemon only a few quick moments to mingle, as she suddenly did not want to be in this place any longer. Shocker immediately jumped back up into her trainer's arms which wasn't she turned and started heading in the direction the scientists had previously ran, hardly paying any attention as she passed by it. Until, however, she spotted a security camera poking its lens out, the tiny red light on the corner indicating it was still recording. The girl smirked, walking directly into the center of the camera's focus, Shocker on her hip like a small child. "Maybe next time you'll think twice about messing with me and mine," she said, her message intended for both Giovanni and Mai. "If you so much as come near me, any of my Pokemon my friends, or my friends' Pokemon, you'll be sorry. Today will be nothing compared to what I'll do if you don't leave us alone. Let that be a warning to you." She paused, looking around the lab at the machines and experiments before looking to her four Pokemon again. "Destroy everything," she said, looking back up at the camera, and Shocker jumped forward, reducing the camera to nothing as she smashed it with a powerful Brick Break.
Unbeknownst to Kasiya, all of his lackeys and even Mai herself, Giovanni had previously stashed anything he couldn't afford to lose in a secret vault far underground, but even still, it didn't take long for the contents of the laboratory to be reduced to nothing but smoldering piles of rubble thanks to the combined efforts of Ariel, Hiro, Fang, Leviathan and Sirrus. The Flygon seemed almost a little too eager to help destroy things, and Kasiya realized then that she'd become quite attached to the Dragon-type in the short time he'd been with her. She also recalled that she'd left Adamantine in the arena and she hoped the Tyranitar was still there as motioned for her party to follow her. She felt an overwhelming sense of triumph as she headed back out to the gym's main arena, even if the big bosses hadn't been here and the base base had only been manned by a skeleton crew at best. "Let's get out of this dump."

Popping up through the ground Kenny startled a biker who was riding by. The man gave a shout as he fell from his bike and landed in a scraggly bush nearby. Kenny snickered slightly at the slight, that would be something that happened to his trainer normally. Maybe he was the one who brought all that bad luck upon Dante? That thought was quickly dismissed though as he remembered hearing all those horror stories from him about when he traveled around with his mom. Thinking back though Dante had looked a lot like a girl in that dress, well he looked more like one then Keegan did. The Dusclops wished he could smile as those thoughts hit him. Reaching out a little he lifted the biker out of the bush and set him on his feet again. Ignoring the others indignant splutters Kenny headed over to the ledge and looked over it. The ghost type had a perfect view of the other side of the route. Kenny wasn't quite sure what made this route so popular, maybe the small gardens or it was flat down below? He wasn't quite sure, what he was sure about though is that now that he looked down below it was some place his trainer would not willingly spend to much time. Nodding Kenny started walking down the upper path, while he was sure he wouldn't find his trainer here he still kept his eye out.
The ghost Pokemon was making his way down to the path when he felt something hit the back of his head. Turning around he blinked as he didn't see anything, looking down though he spotted a pokeball laying at his feet. Grabbing it he glanced it before shrugging and putting it in Dante's bag. If someone was going to try to catch him then he would just take that mistake and add it to his real trainers collection. As he was putting it in the bag though one of the young human children ran up to him a distressed look on his face.
"Hey don't take that! It's mine!" The kid gave him an angry look which was pretty funny that he barely made it up to Kenny's waist. The ghost Pokemon just looked down at him and just stared at him, the kid was looking at him with an angry look on his little face.

Inside the cave was a group of cute Pokemon who were cowering to the sides. "Hey, what are you all doing in here?" Robin asked in confusion, none of the other Pokemon seemed to do anything, at her side Ace just rolled his eyes. It was pretty clear to the Monferno that these Pokemon were just in here to escape the angry Sudowoodo outside. Still the real question was how long had they been in here? Heck the Monferno was even more confused as to why a few of them hadn't escaped. Sure the Sudowoodo were probably a lot stronger then all of these Pokemon but he spotted a Psyduck in the crowd, surely it could have at least sprayed them with water or something.
"You guys are scared aren't you?" Robin asked after a second a worried look on her face. The young Pokemon around her just nodded and crowded a little closer to her. "Aw it's ok." She muttered as she hugged as many of them as she could closer to herself.
All in all there were six Pokemon that were trapped down below, a Psyduck, another Buneary, Happiny, Clefairy, Pikachu, and Drifloon. Robin wasn't quite sure how the Drifloon hadn't escaped. Well when she thought back to when she grew up in Goldenrod she remembered there were a lot of Pokemon that didn't know how to battle. They were actually a lot like the Pokemon in this park, pet Pokemon. "Did you guys get separated from your trainers?" She asked the group. The small Pokemon nodded and looked up at her with wide and eager eyes. "Well then, I guess it is our job to get you back to your trainers! Right Ace?" She grinned and looked over at her surly Monferno. The not-so Playful Pokemon just rolled his eyes and nodded somewhat.

This...wasn't how this was supposed to go. It was supposed to be a one hit knockout; just a quick slap and down the old Alakazam goes. She wasn't expecting Bishop to actually remember how to be a trainer so...well, especially not to completely counter Bayard's very blatant vulnerability. With Reflect up, neither Pin Missile nor Faint Attack would do much than to whittle away, and she didn't like leaving herself open with another failed Sucker Punch. Sasha brushed a stray hair out of her face, her eyelid trembling as it dawned on her there was a very good chance she could lose.
Better lay down some insurance first, just in case. "(Prickles! Leech Seed!)" The Cacturne spit out a few small seeds, which flew threw the air and stuck to Bayard. Very quickly the seeds burst open, wrapping around the Pokemon's limbs and sticking it with small spines. The plants took root, draining a small amount of the Alakazam's vitality and syphoning it to Prickles. Bishop nodded at the girl's choice in attacks.
"(Telekenisis, Bayard.)" he commanded with another snap of his fingers. With a quiet 'Kazam', the Pokemon raised both his spoons, and Prickles into the air. The Cacturne's already small yellow pupils shrunk even more as it flailed uselessly in the air.
"(Take root!)" shouted Sasha, thinking quickly. "(Use Ingrain!)" After no small amount of useless squirming, the cactus threw out his legs . The spikes on the bottom of its feet shot out, anchoring the Pokemon to the ground. Prickles reeled himself to the ground, planting his feet and taking root. Sasha let out a nervous laugh as more health was sapped from Bayard and then drawn from the Ingrain, unsure if she should feel confident or not.
