The scyther would try to meet that attack with his own ....as the flames would come out and he would try to avoid them and get in his own strike with a simple quick attack.
Speed was key here ...and he knew that in the end ...the counter-attack seemed to be too dead on for him to avoid it.

Though that seemed to fall right into the Golett's hands as the pokemon would seem to flash once in front of him. Disappearing right from underneath that wing as he would use pound again ...to try and throw the Aerodactyl across the area in a single bound.
(Sorry for the short post, I am getting kind of sleepy and my focus is going)

Well now it seemed the Scyther had been pretty badly hurt. But no backing down. As he had countered in this duel, it was his turn to strike. Tsuki nodded as the Heatmor took a deep breath of air. Then shot the same evil chain of fire once more at the Scyther. Another Incinerate! No letting up now, it was getting too good. But he kept a cool head for Tsuki.

-1 TO GOLETTS ATTACK ROLLS!Erion swung around, his wing slamming into the Golett. He would not take the pound this time, and the ghost would be knocked to the side and into the ground like discarded trash. Going with the dragons gut had worked, much to Ada's relief, and he would waste no time stopping to catch his breath.
Erion let out a fierce roar, rushing at the Golett. He intended to keep it on the ground with another fierce Wing Attack!

The voice was full of nothing but sarcasming as she spoke. It was quite obvious from her words that she had no problem with taking him on ...as the other two looked at each and then at her.
It was clear they were also giving confirmation.
"I have no problem with you taking him on, Trix, but if you feel that he is getting too boring we can simply throw him in the water."
"Did you see the sword he had earlier and the ...little opening on it." "He is from your team you know ...fire type ...so I doubt he has any brains ...just a straight wish to charge forward ...like all that tend to take that type."
The boy with the Chinchou would chuckle lightly.
It was an obvious taunt as the other boy would shrug lightly.
"Well that means ...I don't want to tangle too much with that one. Fire and plants don't mix well, so if you snuff him out too quickly...I am leaving it to Dan to finish him off."
It would seem that they had decided on the order for the battle. And they didn't give Raven much of a chance as the girl would walk out and stand in front of him with her Meinfoo at her side.
"Ready whenever you are ....Rookie."
She said the last words with a sly grin on her face.

"Truly the Organization has fallen far to allow such piteous wretches into the Academy" Raven stated in a cold voice, his expression placid despite the inferno dancing in his eyes. These were the types of people that caused him to seek strength in the first place. Bullies and miscreants whom needed to be put in their place; to be shown what true strength looked like!
Closing his eyes for only a moment, the child would place his gloved hand upon the third ball which rested upon his belt. After a moment he would release deep, slow breath, and grasp the ball "Very well...but do recall when this is over, I advised you to step away" Raven stated firmly, enlarging the ball in his hand and tossing it skyward.
"Crowe, come forth and show these craven derelicts the meaning of true power!" The youth called loudly, if not in a slightly over elaborate manner. His cloak even fluttered in the breeze.
Sailing through the air, the capsule would burst open with a bright flash, an even bright light following as the sun high above glittered off the steely body of the creature held within. A loud war-like screech would resound across the beach, followed quickly by the slight grating sound of various overlapping places sliding across one another.
Sand would kick up as the Skarmory impacted with the coast, his red eyes darting about for his opponent a few moments before settling on the Mienfoo. Flicking his tail feathers, the metallic bird would thrust his beak forward like a rapier ">On your guard knave, and prepare yourself for battle<" Crowe cawed his warning, then simply waited. It was proper etiquette to allow ones opponent to prepare themselves before the beginning of a duel...and besides, they gained nothing by stooping to the tactics of derelicts, as Raven had dubbed them.
Pokemon: Skarmory [M]
Name & Level: Crowe, Lv 6
[Temperament] Bold
Bio: Crowe was first encountered upon the second ring of Beginner Island amidst a crater. With wings that shimmered like steel, the bird no less landed upon the ground and challenged Raven to a duel directly. Battle fiercely against Genn, the conflict seemed to take an eternity as the two near immovable objects clashed. With a swift hand, Raven was able to throw a single PokeBall and capture the bird...with a slight chase soon to follow. Struck by the ball in the air, the capsule soon flew over the side of the crater, forcing Raven to pursue it by sliding down the side upon Genn's back. During the process of which the boy encountered a Sneasel...and soon both he and it were hanging off the crater by a branch. After a struggle and much dramatics, Raven was able to retrieve the ball, and save the little Dark-Type he had accidentally placed in a perilous situation. Since then Crowe has shown a strong sense of honour, reacting to nearly every battle as if it were a duel with that very thing on the line.

The attack would hit as the pokemon was nearly engulf by the move. Hitting the ground hard on his back ...the pain nearly made him scream out. It almost ended in that single move as the bug pokemon climbed back to his feet slowly. He was no longer thinking that this was such an interesting fight as he would shift to a defensive stance.
He couldn't take another hit like that and live.

The Golett had left a dent in the earth this time himself ...as he was sent tumbling backwards ..end over end before he came to a stop against some rocks. The rocks behind him ...cracking and breaking as he felt his back hard against the stone. Slowly the pokemon would rise even as the Aerodactyl attacked again ...and he would bring his harms up to try and stop that wing attack from hitting again.

"Really ...Rookie, do you even know what kind of an organization you are dealing with?" "High moral grounds ...I love to tear your type apart."
The girl would declares as she put her hands together behind her head. Cracking her fingers as she seemed to be warming up ...as she would move her neck to one side to the other cracking her neck as well ...as her Meinfoo would copy her movements.
It would seem that she wasn't the only one ready ...as the pokemon would smirk at her opponent. Speed was on her side, but her moves were more showy than most as Trix would call out loudly.
"Use ...Focus Blast."
It seemed that they were taking advantage of the first strike as the Meinfoo would take her time. Stomping one foot into the ground before the other ...as she held her palms outward. Energy seemingly to glow on her skin ...as she closed her eyes and started to allow the energy to flow into her hand little by little as the ball grew.
"Hey, you forgot something."
Dan would yell out loud.
"You forgot to make it clear what we win at the end of this match."
He continued.
"IF we win, you have to sign our loser book, and if you win .....we will teach one of your pokemon a move."
He shouted to Raven. Even though they were dialects ...there was rules to battle afterall, and they were more than willing to make it clear what it was ...as the girl smiles dangerously. She was quite intent on the battle as the move was finally release as it flies across their area to threaten to collide against the steel pokemon.

Woot. The attack hit the Scyther like before, just not as badly. The bug was a novice while Bane was the expert. And this newbie had foolishly tried to fight him. As the tide of battle pulled back, it was his turn to defend again. If he countered twice, then he would surely get hurt as Prime had the first time around. Exhaustion was probably the cause of the recoil given to those who countered twice.
Raising his paws once more he stomped the ground. The Scyther needed one good attack to win. The same as Bane. Do or die, fight or flight. Bane roared (not the move) and challenged for the bug to dare make a move.

"Morality has little place on the battlefield. Race, age, sex, they mean nothing in combat save for a difference in their movements..." Raven stated, his eyes continuing to blaze despite his icy tone ">...but ganging up on and torturing the innocent...those whom have no part in the battle...that is the act of cowards and weaklings.<" No he didn't believe himself particularly moral. He'd just as easily slit the throats of these three then let them continue on after this confrontation...but then again, if he killed everyone he didn't like the body count would be too numerous to count...and he'd be a lot stronger physically then he was.
"Crowe, counter-attack with Brave Bird!" The order came short and cold, like the executioner releasing the guillotine. He doubted it would be as effective as such a device of course...but it would show these three just what they were dealing with.
The Skarmory's eyes glinted at that command; had the boy not called it, there was a good chance he would have done it himself anyway. It didn't take a predator's eyes to see the Meinfoo's form was weak, her focus damaged by overconfidence. No it didn't take a predator's eyes...but it certainly didn't hurt.
Ruffling his feathers slightly, Crowe would straighten his neck, bringing the leg he carried behind him forward and breaking into a swift sprint. Flèche. Leaning forward to further his momentum, the Skarmory's body would light up with a blinding white light, as if he were being targeted on all angles by lamps.
Only partially unfurling his wings, the Skarmory moved to pass by the Mienfoo, shredding her flesh with the dagger like tips of his feathers. His wings now carrying an almost serrated edge in their current position.

(8 - 1 + 14 - 15 = 7 + 5 = 12x2 = 24/5 = 4.8 dmg round to 5dmg for Crowe
Hp: 1
In a single hit, an attack that should have been just a small wisp of an attack would tear into her with enough force to pretty much reduce her strength to almost nothing. A single attack had done that ....as the Meinfoo was thrown backwards.
A Skarmory is a dangerous bird to be sure of, especially considering the type of attacks this one was throwing around.
The girl would look at her partner ...as she would hunker down on the defense.
"Just make it through, and we shall make that stupid bird pay."
The girl would declares with her teeth tightly clench ....
"Humph, you will regret those words ...when you beg for our mercy."

Though the pokemon's stamina was reaching it's end .....as he felt the pain throb openly. This would be his last strike before the burn took him out ....and he knew that it would .....as he sent out another Vacuum Wave.
IF he could only managed to clip him ....it would end in a single hit ...if the attacks themselves was something else other than glancing blows.
