"Of course. I don't forget things easily," Shun said with a nod. Aside from that, Mitsu was canine in nature. Chocolate was rather toxic to the creatures so that made it easier to remember something like that as well.

Seeing her gaze shift over towards the dance floor, Shun turned to watch some of the others dance with their partners. The song in itself was a fairly romantic one, so no doubt the people out there were close to one another in some fashion.

Glancing back towards Mitsu, he noticed the look on her face, which was easier for him to see with the mask she wore. There was something wistful there.

----

"Well then this will be a learning experience for the both of us because I really don't know either," chuckled Jericho as he placed a hand at her waist, "So hopefully you can handle my lack of skill as well."

Smiling softly, he shook his head to himself and continued to move along to the song. Even though they really didn't know how to dance, there was still a sort of grace to their movements he supposed. At least there was in his head.

Ohh, bother. She shook her head. We're going to get each other killed out here. Her look suggested that she wasn't really worried, but she bent up on her toes and lost her balance purposefully to throw him off regardless. Well. She resolved, If I'm going to die, I will not do so quietly.

And suddenly, her hand flipped in his, now holding it in a firmer top grip, and her other hand fell from his shoulder to his waist. Riley had just taken the lead.

Let's go, dragon. She gave him little warning, as she suddenly lurched him to one side, into a clumsy, but effective waltz.

"Complicated?" She echoed, pausing as she nodded, sighing softly before offering her friend a sheepish smile; he didn't push her before, so she was going to do the same for him, "If you ever need to talk though, I'm just a call away~" She wanted him to know that she would be there if he ever needed her; that's good enough for now.

"Yes, although... Also because you make me laugh a lot," She giggled softly, obviously amused as she grinned, "Your ridiculous dance numbers were awesome though. I really needed the laugh, although... I really shouldn't be allowed to get too high, huh?" She fidgeted with the end of her braid.

She then chuckled, grinning, "You sure...? Hey, I'm giving you the chance to dare me to do something without convincing me to play truth or dare!" She then paused, smiling sheepishly, "And I speak from experience when I say that it'll be difficult to get me to play that now..."

"It's the only way to go," Chuckled the dragon, though he hadn't expected Riley to take the lead like that. For a moment, his eyes widened in surprised but they took on a somewhat devious look. That was until he was lurched to the side.

Thankfully, he managed to use his wings to try and counterbalance them both.

If Riley was going to try and deal with haphazardly, he was going to do what he could to make sure they don't end up falling over.

Tomoko seemed relieved just from the single nod, tails wagging a bit. Yeah, everybody was there instead of stealing her stuff. She wouldn't know what to do if someone had her ball of stars and she didn't know who it was and bad things could happen if they had it and bad things would happen to her and..and... AHH. The torrent of concern would have probably gone on forever if Jove hadn't taken her hand to lead her out onto the dance floor.

Dancing was a good distraction (somewhere, Junko was squealing, probably), Tomoko squeezing the boil's hand as she followed his lead. This was exciting! Certainly dancing with Seiji had been fun, what with the fact that they'd both been singing and whirling around and being silly, but this was like..
...

a serious dance. Only not quite. Tomoko didn't think of Jove that way. At least she was pretty sure she didn't think of the ghost boil that way.

A waltz hold... Tomoko seemed nervous about that. She seemed to recognize the form from him, but Tomoko wasn't like.. a really good dancer by any means. She knew a little bit, and she also knew that she'd have to be really careful to let him lead.

Just so she wouldn't look like an idiot.

Tomoko was giddy.

Completely and utterly giddy.

To observers, the pair's intentions about one another could have been totally and completely misconstrued.

Oh, Junko would not be admitting why she stumbled. Nope. That was just embarrassing. She stumbled because she suddenly felt weak in the knees just hearing him sing so sweetly to her? Surely he'd laugh at her. She did feel rather self-conscious as he continued to admire her, however. What? Was there something on her face? Was her makeup smudged from nearly crying on Nuk? From hugging Shehk? Oh no. Was she alright? She didn't mess up what little makeup she had on did she? She hoped not. The hand on his shoulder moved to lightly touch at her face, still blushing. She didn't feel anything out of place. Green eyes lifted to peek up at Seiji through her bangs, smiling helplessly as he continued to sing. This was wonderful. It wasn't quite the swing dancing he'd done with Aislin, or the joyous energetic number he'd done with Tomoko, but she loved this just fine.

The hand was placed on Seiji's shoulder again and she gave it a squeeze, humming the song along with his singing. Sure, Junko loved to sing but she didn't know the words to this. Not well enough to sing along. She was just fine with looking up at him with a quiet smile and a dreamy look in her eyes, leaning more and more of her weight into him as they danced and twirled her around. Her eyes never left him as she was spun out, her hand coming up to cup his cheek and gently stroke it with her thumb as he held her. She wanted to speak, to say something, but she wanted to hear him more than herself. So she stayed quiet...for now.

Tomoko didn't have to worry about dancing poorly and taking the lead by accident. Jove's defensiveness regarding his small stature and lack of masculinity would keep him from getting pulled around, at least by someone roughly his own size. Being knocked over by a larger student would always be a hazard, but he would try his best to make sure Tomoko wasn't jostled.

He gave her a gentle look as he began to lead her around the floor, it didn't even matter if she didn't know the steps. He knew the timing, and if she followed him and was even slightly on beat with the song she would be fine. Jove was relieved when her worried face went away, and was replaced with her usual perky happiness.

The pup was starting to realize that dancing in a crowd wasn't so scary. He had been right that it was completely different from dancing around Ren's room, or his own where there was nobody to watch, but this wasn't bad.

Holly grinned then nodded her head in thanks and sat down next to Levi. It was nice to get off of her feet after dancing. Even if they did declare her the worst of the contest. She got a ballon, so it was all good. The ghoul shrugged. "Sadly it's the main event, the dancing. But honestly, it's pretty hilarious to just watch everyone else make a fool of themselves." Which was part of the reason she had come. Part anyway. She grinned again. "Fighting them sounds much more easier at this point than the thought of dancing." It was still up in the air if she'd even dance with that boil. "Though I suspect the boil I did come with would put up a decent fight."

The ghoul sat there for a few moments while Levi and Jericho spoke and what not. She grinned back at her remark. "Dun't know if I'll ever understand boils."

"Compli..cated.." He trailed off, inwardly pleading she didn't push the issue. It had little to do with her and everything to do with him. He nodded to her offer, his shadowed eyes meeting hers for a brief moment.

Mot was glad to hear he made her laugh. It filled him with pride. Well, not too much pride, as his ego had been humbled by their little incident no so long ago. He chuckled shyly, rubbing his neck at the compliments. His antics indeed had made the ghoul a little over the edge. "Maybe not so much." He liked her happy, but maybe not explosion of bodily impulse happy.

Mot smirked a bit, scratching his nose and nodding. "Yeah, I'm sure. If anything I'd ask for a rain check on that one." He feeling playful enough to make her do anything ridiculous. At his best, he could do it on his own. No dare needed, he was sure. "Word of warning, don't give me that kind of power, Liz." He said with a small grin.

"I'll paint you mornings of gold.
I'll spin you Valentine evenings.
Though we're strangers 'til now,
We're choosing the path
Between the stars.~"

The serene smile he'd been wearing slipped a little, even if his voice didn't reflect it, as she touched her cheek. Looking up at him a little unsure. Silly ghoul, didn't she realize how lovely she looked?

"I'll leave my love
Between the stars.~"

Drawing her in closer, he slide his claws along to the small of her back as he pulled his hand slowly from her grip. "As the pain sweeps through,
Makes no sense for you.~" Leaning into her so her back arched against his hold and he could brush the back of his fingers along the side of her cheek before tracing a slight line from the full bud of her lips and downward to the constricting line of her dress. "Every thrill is gone.
Wasn't too much fun at all,~" he laid a kiss on her throat before intertwining his fingers back with her's and rolling back once more.

"But I'll be there for you-ou-ou
As the world falls down.~"

He swung them around again, spinning quicker this time as they did their pretty impression of a classical waltz. Pressing his hand against the small of her back so her body arched gently as their twirled. His own head tilting with momentum. The wraps on his feet letting him twirl effortlessly against the hard wood of the auditorium floor. It would have been a dizzying move had he not locked his gaze upon the emerald green of Junko's wide eyes.

The versus had ended, and now all that remained was the echoing continuation of the chorus. He murmured along with a few of the lines, but he was finished singing, mind leading him onward to different endeavors. Placing both hands upon her hips the boil lifted her up, spinning while supporting her above him before letting his hands slide until he could just hold her in his arms. Catching her lips in a lingering kiss.

It was fortunate for Jove that Tomoko had no idea how to take the lead anyways. She'd been groomed into the passive party by her mother, so it was easy enough to just wait for Jove to take the lead for the dance. It was also fortunate she wasn't shy, or she may have just turned clingy to the ghost boil.

Which would have been...interesting, if nothing else, to have her suddenly huddling on him in anxiety. Possibly resulted in two panicked bitty-fox-friends who ran for the hills with puffed up tails to their names.

Would have lost every cute ounce it had in it right then.

Tomoko took a few minutes to sort of acclimate to the way Jove stepped, looking down at his feet somewhat nervously while she tried to figure it out. Was there a lean to his body, something?? There was always some trick, and while the kitsune would never directly identify it, she picked it up at least in timing.

There was probably more effort on her part in making sure the pair didn't look silly out there dancing together, rather than MAEK DUH MOMENT ROMANTIC AND LAST FOREVERZ.

Tomoko didn't have a romantic bone in her body.

Leikkun

If Eris seemed perturbed by their late entry, she certainly wasn't showing it. In fact, she seemed completely at ease as she stood there in the doorway, releasing the demon's arm delicately as he moved to open the door for her, a pleased little smile curling the corners of her lush, red lips. Yes, Altair had been a good choice -- his debonair and charm quite suitably matched what she was looking for in an escort, the daring little teases enough to keep her entertained and amused. Lifting one hand to press a finger thoughtfully to her mouth, she gave him a courteous, perhaps slightly flirtatious smile as he offered her entrance, stepping through the offered opening before turning a little, waiting for him on the other side. The fact that he was quite attractive certainly helped as well, and she took the moment to give him a slow look over, noting how sharp he looked in the red vest that so matched her own gown, the black slacks and dress shirt beautifully reminding her of the black trimming on her own dress she normally wore. Tasteful as well -- he was just a perfect fit, now wasn't he~?

"Forgive me, I'd just so hoped to look my prettiest for you," she crooned, her voice almost lost in the slow, deep melody of the slow song playing sweetly in the background.

Extending her arm to take his again, she turned back towards the room extended before them once she was half pressed against his side, moving a little further into the barely-lit room. It seemed for this song, they had dimmed the lights, leaving the mood to err towards romantic, many couples dancing cheek to cheek on the slowly-revolving dance floor. A few colored lights flickered over head, tinting the room in a softness it hadn't had before, although the Heir of War had no way of knowing that. So she merely took pleasure in the sight, allowing him to lead her forward as he would, while still demanding respect via her own commanding presence.

She was a Horseman, after all.

After a moment of watching Mitsu finally turned to Shun that hopefully look in her eyes again. She started to open her mouth, words starting to form on the tip of her tongue, but they never came. Instead she sat there with her mouth a gap for a moment before she looked at the table like she hadn't been about to ask him something. No, she had asked him to dance earlier that was enough. She was content with that. There was no need to ask anything further of him. Besides this song sounded like it was for...couples she supposed. Though something about that made the heat rise to her cheeks.

"Umm...e-e-excuse me for a moment," Mitsu said softly getting out of her seat. She was trying to think of an excuse to leave to deal with this weird feeling she had but nothing really came to mind. Instead she grabbed her mostly full glass of punch. "N..need more to drink." That was a horrible excuse but she took her leave all the same heading to the refreshment table. Where was Lizzy? Mitsu really wanted to ask her a few things that maybe she would understand.

Riley had no idea what she was doing. And yet, for simple confidence, she managed to swerve Jericho without running headfirst into anyone, as they circled in a slow sway. It made her laugh, and her head tilted back as the sound emitted from her.

I don't think I have ever danced this much in my entire life. She bubbled out within her laugh. There was a fierce desperation in the joy she reaped from events like this, as she attempted, with every chance, to enjoy what she had left in case the world came tumbling down around her.

It was these moments that she would cherish, even if they were few. Laughing openly in the arms of her best friend, stumbling haphazardly on a brightly colored dance floor, watching her fellow students huddle in groups or couples and share the warm intimacy that often needs a special occasion to occur.

She pulled her hand away from his waist, and tugged on the one she held, trying to get him to spin under her arm.

"Yes, I get it," She chuckled softly, waving a hand dismissively in the air, showing that she wasn't going to force him to say anything. If he was comfortable with it, he would have told her without her prompting him, so he obviously did not want to talk about it.

She raised an eye brow as she grinned, "The offer will go on until you decide to use it then~" A momentary pause followed as she eyed him, her grin widening a little, "Ohhh? With great power, comes great responsibility! Or... Irresponsibility, I suppose. What's the worse you can make me do anyway?" She was curious. Oh so curious.
