Alex was looking out the window,"Come in Gary...what do you need or what do you need to tell me?" she said not turning around moving a muscle just staring at her house shrinking in her eye sight.

gary walked in and stopped noticing her hair. "Alex...your...your hair..." He shut up and looked down. "I am sorry for this...its my fault and I'm sorry..." He looked at her. "I'm taking you and Lucia back and turning myself in."

"No your not...your the captain of this ship and as you captain I want you to lead this ship like Jack did. My daughters life is more important then mine, she needs you more then anything right now so just stay on course." she looked at him and she sat down at the desk.

Gary nodded looking away. "I dont blame you for hating me," he said quietly. "I did this to you...Now your miserable because of me...Its only hurting you and jack." He looked at her tears making his vision blurry.

"Gary no...you didnt ruin my life...it was fate this happened for a reason we just have to live through to find out what." she walked up to him and hugged him."Just make my daughter happy and keep her safe."

Gary hugged her back and gave up fighting the tears as he cried on Alex's shoulder. "I'm so sorry Alex..."

Alex rubbed his back and she kissed his head and looked at him,"Your strong Gary and nothing can get your way right you gone this far now don't give up...now just keep this ship heading west." she said smiling at him,"And if you get any letters from Jack bring them to me."

"I love you as my son Gary and I know you will protect." she smiled and kissed his head,"Know go out lead the ship and crew." she went back to the window looking at the ocean,'Jack....' she thought.

Gary left the cabin and commanded the crew to sail faster west so they would be away from British soldiers.

Alex sighed and she put her head on the window, that something made her snap she changed she wasn't as soft she used to be, now she really acted like a pirate. She walked outside and watched the crew. She felt string winds,"Raise the sails!Let the wind take us along the sea men!" she yelled to them.
Lucia saw her mother was changing and she walked to Gary and she hugged his arm.

A few weeks passed, and Jack still questioned the police about Gary being accused of murder, and he demanded that they search for someone else. He'd sent Alex his letter a few days ago and hoped she got it.
