As soon as Dimitri rode off, Maria held on a little tighter, feeling slightly worried that she would fall. Her heart was racing again and she wondered if Dimitri could hear it, but realized that her thought was just silly. After awhile, Maria felt more comfortable and enjoyed the rushing sights of the area. "Yeah, I'm alright! I'm holding onto you with my dear life, I'm pretty sure I'm alright," Maria responded in her own teasing tone, smiling brightly and loosening her hold on Dimitri just a little bit.
(This feels like such a brain fart post)

"Okay, keep holding on we're going to turn a corner." He said, his hands tightening on the handle bars as he leaned ever so slightly, twisting the handle bars smoothly and they glided around a corner. Dimitri smiled, feeling the warm air on his face, Maria's arms around his waist and wondering if this was what heaven felt like.
A few minutes later, Dimitri pulled the bike to a spot outside the ice cream parlor. He took a deep breath, letting it out with a sigh and smiling back at Maria. "There, no accidents." He said brightly, reaching up and running his fingers though his thin strands of dark hair, pushing it out of his eyes. "Ready for ice cream?"

Maria nodded, her hold on him regaining some bit of tightness, but not to tight that it made it hard for him to breathe. She felt herself giggle as they turned the corner, finding some kind of enjoyment from that. She was glad that it was a nice day out, like it was in their favor.
Soon, they pulled up at the ice cream parlor and Maria wished that the ride was just a little bit longer. She never enjoyed a bike ride as much as she had with Dimitri. She smiled back at him, giggling lightly when he mentioned about there being no accidents. She carefully got off the bike and stretched before turning to him and nodding. "Sure am!" Maria responded with a bright grin before continuing, a faint pink blush appearing on her cheeks, "Oh, and thanks for the ride. It really was a lot of fun."

Dimitri smiled, nodding his head. "Mhh Hmm, any time." He said, pushing open the door to the ice cream parlor for her, hearing the light, musical jingle of the bell above the door. He glanced up, his gaze following the sound to where the bell was mounted. After Maria had stepped in, Dimitri looked back down and walking in after her.
The dark haired boy looked around the shop. The walls were a warm, yellowish color the floor tiled black and white. Behind the counter was mounted a black board with all the different flavors of ice cream written on it in different colors of chalk. Dimitri smiled to himself, reading off some of the different flavors. "Bubble gum, chocolate, vanilla, rainbow sherbert, coffee..." Dimitri wrinkled his nose at this last one, hoping Maria wasn't fond of coffee ice cream. "Orange blossom, rocky road... yep, they basically have everything here." He said with a smile, looking over at Maria. "Pick whatever you want, I'm buying."

Maria smiled and thanked him when he opened the door for her. She walked in, taking in the sight of the ice cream parlor. She wasn't too familiar with this one, but she still felt like she had been there before.
She looked at the different flavors just as Dimitri was naming each one. When he said coffee flavor, she looked over at him, something about the way he said it made her want to pay attention. She giggled at his facial expression, finding it hilarious. Like her best friend, she wasn't a big coffee person, but she would drink it when she really needed to. She nodded in agreement, looking at the different flavors again before looking back at him when he mentioned he was paying and that she could choose whatever. She smiled sweetly at him, glancing at the list of flavors one more time before looking back at him. "I know what I'd like. What about you?" she asked him, looking curiously at the flavors again. What kind of flavor what he most likely get? I wonder what his favorite ice cream flavor is, Maria thought with a faint blush, realizing her silly thought.

"Black raspberry?" Maria asked curiously, not familiar with that flavor at all. Then again, she didn't really eat ice cream a lot either. Ice cream was one of those very special treats that would be in the house for special occasions, mainly birthdays and holidays. She looked over the options one more time, giving herself time to really think about it before smiling. "Blue Moon Ice Cream," she said, finally deciding on her choice, "I used to always get that flavor. One of my favorites actually."

Dimitri blinked in surprise, looking back up at the board and catching sight of the flavor she had mentioned. "that's funny..." He mused, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I've never even heard of that flavor before! It sounds good though." He reassured with a smile. Dimitri touched her arm lightly, as thought to say 'I'll be right back' He walked up to the counter, leaning against it. "We'll have two medium cones, A black raspberry and a blue moon...thingy..." He said, trailing off lamely, not able to remember if there was more to the flavor's name.
A few minutes later, Dimitri turned back to her, his dark, purpleish-blue cone in one hand, and her vibrant blue in the other. "Question," He said as he handed it over, carefully making sure that she had a hold of it before he let go. "Will that ice cream stain your tongue blue because I think that would be immensely humorous." He said with a smirk, leading her over to a booth,

"Oh, it tastes heavenly," Maria said with a smile, "If you want, I can let you try some. But that's only of course if you want to try some. If you prefer your black raspberry over my blue moon, then I won't feel offended." Maria teased with a grin, nodding when Dimitri went off to order their ice cream, waiting patiently for him to return with their ice cream.
She smiled when Dimitri came back with their ice cream and took hers, thanking him. As she licked her ice cream, she paused when Dimitri asked his question, looking up at him with curious eyes. She considered his question and giggled, following him over to the booth and sitting down in one of the seats. "And if this ice cream could do such a thing, why would you like to know?" Maria asked with a small grin, continuing enjoying her ice cream.

Maria looked at Dimitri curiously as she continue to eat her ice cream, wondering what he was going to say. She was tempted to pester him about what was originally in his mind before he changed it. She brought her focus back on her ice cream and it's sweet flavor when she heard some movement from the table. She looked up as Dimitri leaned over on the table, her eyes catching his and finding herself blushing again. His smirk made her heart go crazy and she was almost afraid she wouldn't be able to say anything. After a couple of seconds, she took a taste of her ice cream again and opened up her mouth to show her tongue, which indeed didn't have any light blue stains on it from eating the ice cream.

Dimitri studied her tongue scrutinizeingly, for a moment as though searching for any trace of blue. Finally, after several long moments of silence, he nodded his head. "Alright, I believe you." He said with a smirk. As he sat there, the flirtatious side of his nature reared it's head again. 'Her lips are so close....it would be so easy!' He though, swallowing stiffly, his eyes a little bit wider that normal. Dimitri drew in an uncertain breath, sitting back a bit slightly, and taking a lick of his ice cream, feeling like hiding behind the cone. He shifted for a moment, then, quite suddenly, leaned forward and licked her ice cream cone. He pulled back quickly a smirk on his lips as his rubbed the corner of his mouth with the cuff of his sleeve. "Thanks for the taste." He said with a smirk, holding out his own for her to try.

Stop blushing like mad. Stop blushing like mad, Maria thought as he studied her tongue, Think of something else. Don't loose it Maria! She honestly didn't understand why she was as embarrassed as she was for him looking at just her tongue, but he just seemed like he was closer than he actually was. She sighed in relief when he said he believed her and stuck in her tongue back in her mouth. Her cheeks still felt warm and she noticed that Dimitri's eyes had widened a bit. She wondered and before she could ask, he sat back in his seat, eating his ice cream again. Not wanting to make anything uncomfortable, she took another taste of her ice cream. She blinked in surprise when she looked up and Dimitri himself took a taste of her ice cream. She blinked, staring at him before giggling with a smile. She leaned in and took a taste of Dimitri's ice cream, moving away and making this look like she didn't like it before smiling again.
"Your ice cream isn't that bad too," Maria said with a grin, "But we all know that mine is the best because I picked it out." She giggled again and realized something that made her blush again. Years ago, when the girls were watching a show, which she couldn't remember anymore, there was an instance when the main character and their crush were sharing something and they mentioned something about indirect kissing. The realization that she might have done that with Dimitri made her cheeks grow faintly pink again and she had to move back into her seat and ate her ice cream, staring out the window.

Dimitri smirked slightly as she spoke, joking lightly about her ice cream being better. "Maybe so," He replied vaguely, sitting back in his seat and crossing one leg over the other, resting his chin on his loosely curled fist. Dimitri studied her though half-closed eyes, a faint smirk still lingering on his lips. He looked almost prince-like sitting there, strange as it sounded. He tipped his head slightly to the side. "What's on you're mind?" He prodded teasingly, not moving from his relaxed position. "You look lost in thought princess." That last part slipped unchecked from Dimitri's lips. He hadn't meant to call her princess, it just kind of slipped out. The boys cheeks when slightly pink, but he cleared his throat, glancing down slightly.
