"Oh no, I know what happened... just not all the details. Like who did it and why. And a lot of stuff happened in the meantime; didn't exactly have any time to look anything up for myself," Brenda said, her tone deadpan. "And no, I'm not Batman. Used to be, though. Now c'mon, I'm a busy girl."

"The thing that "did this" doesn't make himself widely known. It's harder to get information on him than it is finding information on you or the younger Bat. And he's been around months longer than you." Oswald hissed. "As for anything else, pick up a paper. You two have just cost me more than my last customer paid for information."

"So it was just one being? Okay, that much I can work with..." Brenda said, almost to herself. "And-- Wait, what? Younger Bat?" Tim hadn't mentioned someone like that... But Bruce had mentioned a Bat that would replace him; Terry McGinnis.
"Okay, don't answer that one, I think I know who you may be talking about." Brenda said. "And sorry about the damages, but seriously... Get over yourself. The universe is in chaos and all you can think about is your precious Lounge? For all you knew, we could've been psychopaths that wanted to just shoot you in the head. At least the Penguin I knew had the decency to not have his priorities skewered when the chips were down."

Dr. Doom was, to say the least, was uneffected by the tear gas; however, he did not need the tear gas to bother the heroines with him in his meeting. With a simple move, Doom lowered his shield and dispersed pellets of his own to counter the tear gas almost instantly. Turning back toward the table, Doom asked the women at the booth, "If the guards here are not able to deal with Batman, we may have to intervene. And because I would have no idea whether or not it is the case, is that the real Batman? I have heard that there is an imposter running about. Also, Indigo Lantern, is there a way we can fight the Black Lantern Corp -- like if we can disconnect them from their rings?"
Firestar was still staring at where Batman left the main room of the Lounge, Angelica wasn't sure whether she should do anything. She needed more information first...

The tear gas had been released in the hallway so Doom's actions would of been to prevent any of the gas from getting to that side of the room.
Bruce looked right at Oswald. "You do realize that I only broke one pane of glass and people in Gotham, from the Earth I'm from, usually come back to your establishment for the show." He was dead pan tone at this point. He was tired of hearing people whine and he had been in this world about as long as the Batwoman.
"I am Batman, just as much as this one is." He motioned towards Batwoman. "Even though we may be from different worlds, I'm still Batman."
He leaned on Cobblepot's desk to look him in the eye. "I came here to find out where my remaining sidekicks are. Like Spoiler."(( Watch this XD))

"And until the person who put this world together blows it up or we're overrun with Black Lanterns again, my Lounge IS my priority!" he barked back at Batwoman. Then he turned back towards Batman and glared at him.
"And after all the talk about Batman going around KILLING PEOPLE, do you REALLY think anyone's going to stick around for a "show"? Or that they're going to come back and pay for the meal they just ran out on?"

Brenda stepped closer to Penguin, towering over him even though she was shorter than Bruce, and said: "Okay... that is news to me. And by the way? Our damages were a single pane glass, like my partner said. I can pay for that with my freaking debit card-- So kindly chill out; pun intended. And... Somebody's masquerading as Batman and killing people?" she continued, piecing what Penguin meant together very quickly like the Detective she was. "See, that's precisely the crap I was talking about; what if he had come in here and killed someone-- or you? Would you be complaining about a single pane of glass being broken then? I figured you were smarter than that: valuing a building over your own life... but maybe that's just the Penguin I know," she said coldly.
((LOL, ice puns. Also Skuld, Elasa is not at the Iceberg Lounge-- you're thinking of Eira, the Indigo Lantern.))

"It was weeks ago. Someone dressed up in a knock off Batman costume killing off thugs and gang members. I could tell it was a fake. But the press and thirty-some customers that just barreled out of my Lobby without paying can't tell." Penguin growled, jerking his thumb towards the security cameras and several empty tables filled with half-eaten food. "I'm more worried about my customers not returning, and several thousand dollars worth of profit being lost. If you costumes keep crashing into here and terrorize my patrons, I'll have to close down! THEN what would you rather I do? ANYONE would be enraged if their business was continuously devastated with the loss of profit I've endured each time a Lantern smashed through the ceiling or wall."

"Yeah, I s'pose I can sympathize with that; I'm a business owner in my universe," Brenda muttered. "Okay. I have an idea. I'm fairly certain I have enough money in my savings to recoup your losses; if I can somehow get it set up here or something, I'll repay you double what you lost. And in return... I want everything you know about this idiot who's terrorizing Gotham. Throw in information about these... 'other' Lanterns, and I'll triple it," Brenda said-- and there was not a single part of what she said that wasn't honest; even Cobblepot, as angry as he was, would be capable of seeing this. Granted, in actuality Brenda figured she'd have to use Wayne Enterprises funds from this universe, but that didn't matter. Right now, she was willing to work with Penguin to get this information.

Penguin's glare returned to Batwoman. But there was something...softer about his anger now. As though what she had said had lessened his anger considerably, but he was still ticked off about the entire incident.
"......................I suppose if you are able to pay for the lost profits, as well as the information..." he muttered quietly. "...and that you use a less explosive means of entering next time...I would be more willing to help you."

Man, she loved manipulating Penguin in her universe. Granted, when she did that she was wearing expensive, low-cut dresses and plenty of makeup which she didn't necessarily need to show off her beauty. She figured she'd try that at some point in this universe... Could be fun.

"There's not a whole lot to say about the imposter. He was caught by some of the newspapers, police, and various news stations. His costume was cheap, but had the mask, cape, and other similarities that he was easily mistaken for Batman. He hasn't been seen or heard from in weeks. Since there is nothing on record with the police, I'd guess he's either dead or had found what he'd been looking for while mowing through various mob higheries." he replied, calmly taking a seat back in his chair.
"As for the Lanterns, I have had quite a few drop in on my Lounge. Both figuratively and literally. Two of whom were sitting with the man in the iron mask you had confronted." he said, sending a glance towards the male Bat. "Several Lanterns from different Corps gathered here before. About the Black Lantern problem they're beginning to have."

Brenda blinked. The only Corps she knew of was Green.
"There are more Corps? More than just Green?" she asked, and she was genuinely curious. "The only one that exists in my universe is Green, so far as I know."

Batman listened before speaking. "I think I read something about this 'Batman Imposter' somewhere. I'm not sure but I think we might need to ask Catgirl about that one." He then thought about the rest of the conversation.
"Yes, I remember dealing with the Black Lanterns before. That wasn't a pleasant ordeal, and I, frankly, do not want to live through that again."
He then looked right at Cobblepot once more. "Well, if we're paying for information then I need to know where my missing sidekicks are. Spoiler is the only one that I know is missing so far."
