The sigils of the artifact appeared within the vicinity of the same hospital, having Ostrava appear outside. Noticing that Oomizu was nearby, he raised a hand, beckoning her to stop. "Wait, I have something important! From Joseph!"

Arthur reached the portal. He waited a second, just to look back before he hopped through the portal, standing in the hospital now, he looked around at the unfolding chaos. His boys! "Alfred! Matthew!?" He himself was as fine as could be, but he was growing increasingly worried about the two former colonies.

Matthew wasn't in much shape of anything. Still unconscious, Kumajiro stood by him, pullling at his good hand, trying to wake him up. "Who? who.. WHO! Wake up!" He tried to rouse his owner but it was to no avail.

Dr Cox sighed as he looked around in the SVU and noticed all the rooms were full "What the hell happened down there Oomizu?"

"Is it... already in my locker, or somesing?" Spy asked, wondering why it hadn't been given to him yet. He did already agree to taking it, after all. "Oh, and should I avoid taking it into water?"

Oomizu sighed and closed her eyes. "They were burning the town down when we got there. They had tanks that fire and a good small army of fire experts attacking us. To say we won would be shallow and, I personally I believe, inaccurate. Hiruko and Al here were gaurding the kids when he got shot, and the other, I have no clue. I was busy trying to get a good storm to form so that the fires will die down rather than spread to the towns near it." She looked to Ostrava and gasped at what he said before looking down sadly, tears forming in her eyes at the news. "Oh gods... What a craptastic day this is turning out to be. Well, might as well tell me what the will says while I can't run off." She hated wills and testaments...

Scout thought for a moment before jogging off. When he came back, he had a couple of Supeman comics. "Hey, kids! Who wants ta hear a story about a hero? Looky here!" He turned the cover so that they could see. Maybe they'd be interested and he could read it to them. That'd be being helpful, right?

Ostrava pulled a small pouch from his belt, and nwrapped it, revealing a glowing blue stone within it. "Joseph was slain a while back when he was tracking down a great demon at the time. He told me it was to get stronger to be able to protect a family member. Unfortunately, thanks to me, he blocked an incoming attack, saving my life, and sacrificing his.
But there is a legend about that stone. They say that those who have strong determination to something in life, and possess that stone while dying, will stay within this world untill their task is complete." He told her, closing her hands around the stone. "He wanted me to make sure that his very soul would be safe with you."

He kept slipping in and out of consciousness. He couldn't wake up. His wounds may have been healed but he had still lost a bit of blood from the assault. He was supposed to be the hero though. He was supposed to save everyone, but here he was... unconscious.

He managed to get through the portal. The first thing he saw, however, when he passed through was Arthur. "Hello, mon cher, I'm glad to see you got through unscathed." He said as he moved in the hospital, his arm hanging useless at his side, "Now I just need to find one of these fine doctors...."

She was going through the portal when she saw France and Arthur- France's body looked burned, but thankfully Arthur seemed fine. Suddenly she realized something, Matthew wasn't there. She went to search for him, finding him unconscious on the ground. She picked him up, "Mattie! Wake up!" She went to the area most crowded, "We need to get this guy help! I can't wake him up!"

((lol I know, but you know he would be the type to do something like this just so he could have an excuse to either be helpful or to get others interested in his sort of thing so he has more people to talk to. XD ))

Oomizu listened to what Ostrava had to say, her eyes closed as she forced herself to not break down. She didn't blame Ostrava, it wasn't any one's ault Joseph died, but it still hurt to hear her big brother-figure was dead now. She opened her eyes to look at the stone in her hand and had to choke down a sob. Funny how some one in charge of death hated death so much. She kissed the stone lightly before putting Ostrava into a one-armed hug. "Thank you, Ostrava, for delivering this to me. I'll be sure to take great care of his soul." She sighed lightly and released him. She shook her head. "I'm fine. Get Al to the main machine, just in case."

Scout looked up to Maverick and grinned widely. "Comics! Here, you all want me ta read 'em to ya?" The kids seemed curious, so Scout sat on the floor cross-legged, and the kids gathered and mirrored him. He opened to the first page and began reading, showing the pictures to the kids the whole time and making facial features, voices, and hand movements as he read to entertain the kids.
