[RP] The Plains of Torment (Open to all)

[Blitz Prower]

Blitz stood as he witnessed the whole procedure. Well, it seems they were expelling a demon, or delivering someone from one. Been awhile since I've seen a display of power like that in that fashion. Magic, something I don't mess with. I'm a lightning specialist and a swordsman, not some wizard or of that sort... He thought all of this to himself. They're too busy to notice me anyways. I probably should go look around or something back the Inn...maybe. But I'm curious to what they were doing.

Charlotte applauded. "We did it! Yaaaay!" she cheered.

Hate sighed. "Yay."

Charlotte patted his head. "Let's get you back home in my head."

"Imagine my excitement." he said flatly. Charlotte grabbed his cheeks and headbutted him, the specter piffing into nonbeing once more.

Charlotte looked dazed from the blow, rubbing her forehead. "Shall we?"  

[Azana Brown]

"No arguments here," Azana smiled, helping her husband to his feet. "Let's get you back in your natural habitat."

"You just want a round to celebrate," he said slyly in reply.

"Okay, romance inside, please!" Stella rolled her eyes, conjuring a portal as a shortcut to the tired combatants. "One way express, all aboard!"

Adra instantly moved toward the portal, the only thing she could vividly see, everything else was just nothing. "It'll be nice to actually relax for once...I've been wearing this armor for far too long." Penance followed after quickly, making sure not to stress his own body too much, his second spirit wouldn't be able to take it. Penance glanced at the others before nodding at them. "Thanks for saving me, and her."

"Thank her," Sosol answered, walking in behind Penance with his wife. "She believed you could be saved. We just helped make it happen."

"Always the social time afterward...I'm freezing out here!" Stella said, walking in last and shutting it behind her, eager for some warmth and perhaps some wine.

((I think almost six months gives me the right to double post.))

Yes, it was a longer walk under the summer sun, but Stella wanted a safe place to unleash some power where no one would get hurt. This old battlefield, crippled by water and poison, ensured that nothing would be caught in the crossfire.

"This is going to get interesting..."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He looked about, cringing. It was like being in Zaun or Noxus all over again, places that looked like they could've been nice once upon a time, but were destroyed by goodness knows what.

"Will it now?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Welcome to our safe space," Stella said, a broad sweeping gesture to the land around them. "Here you'll find a few abandoned buildings and a whole lot of nothing. It's the perfect place to do dangerous things without hurting anybody."

She smirked, wands in hand. "Kurhah...combustion corona!" A ring of flame encircled Gareus, but it wasn't an immediate threat. It gave him room to move for a couple feet, but with the summer heat, it was certainly hot in there.

"Since you seem to be so amazing at visualization, we're going to take the fast track. First task: get yourself out of the ring. Your choice as to how."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He looked about him, the heat and sight of flickering tongues bringing up the past... The image of a man enveloped in an unending fire arose up in his mind, cackling evilly. Brand.

"Pillar..."

Gareus gripped his left, the light building up. Physical, he needed physical.

"Shoot!"

He spun as he swung his left arm, a ring of blue spheres of light flying downwards into the ground. Once they hit the ground, he gave a small lift upwards with of his arms, sending them up only a small fraction. Each one did a scooping motion, and they brought earth up along in their trajectory. The force was strong enough to dump it onto the source of the flames, instantly quenched.

"How's that-- nngharggh!!"

He bent over backwards, a hand flying to his back.

"Agggrgh. My back, shoot... Not quite the young man I used to be, heheh... oww..."

Stella gave a nod, clapping slowly. "Unorthodox...good use of Earth. Sticking to your guns, I see." She stood up from her seat on a stump, opening a small portal and pulling out a plastic cup. "Let's try something else. Fill this cup with water...and do try not to get me wet, as well."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He stretched himself out a little more as he listened.

"Water? Huh..."

Gareus tried to retrace his memories. Water, water... The river? Maybe, but that'd get her wet. He'd have to try the Spanish. He retraced his memories, holding his hand out, palm upwards. He closed his eyes, he'd have to imagine this pretty sharply. Before he cast...

"...How mad would you be at me if I got you wet then?"  

[Azana Brown]

"Let's just say the more you soak me, the stricter I'll be," she answered teasingly, holding the cup at arm's length. "Go ahead...show me what you can do."  

[Gareus Fletcher]

"And if I want it that way?"

He smirked, shaking his head.

"I'll do my best..."

He slowly lifted his hand upwards, as if raising the air.

"Llenar... Agua..."

He had to do this slowly, this was more of a fine tune ability. As Gareus lifted, tiny particles arose in the cup, giving the appearance of the cup filling up on its own.

"Oh, you're just too much fun," Stella chuckled before silencing herself and watching him at work. She stared at the glass, watching it fill very slowly. Smart move...he didn't want to overdo it, though he probably would have relished more challenges. She just didn't feel like slogging around in a wet sundress.  

[Gareus Fletcher]

He stopped a little above half way.

"Hrm..."

Gareus flexed his arm.

"Not used to this prolonged magic... It's like holding my arm out for a long time..."
