Misaki nodded as her mom wiped her cheeks for her. She smiled and gave her mom one more hug, this one quick. "I just missed you, mommy. But I won't cry anymore. Promise." She pulled on one of her pigtails as she oddly begame nervous. What to talk about, what to talk about... "So mom... What have you been doing these past years?"

"Daddy told me to stay up on the mountain. He said I'd be safe there, even if I was alone." She smiled as she continued. "But I wasn't alone! I made lots of new friends, all types of friends. And I was sure to practice with them every day! " Her smile brightened as she suddenly became proud of herself. "I got to show daddy what I could do a few times, and he said that I was a very smart girl. He said that what I can do is not very common, so it makes me a very special girl."

Enter from Kumogakure's Ninja AcademyRather than enter the Raikage's office, Sora stopped some ways from the door in front of a bulletin board. On the board were various missions tacked up, ready for the taking. "Hrm," the blonde genin sounded out as she thoughtfully examined the missions, By the time Sonji had arrived, Sora had already begun eying one or two of the mission she most liked but she didn't reach for them just yet. Instead, she turned to her partner and asked, "Any mission that you want to do in particular, here Sonji-kun?".

" That one looks good. Necrosis would like to work in the hotsprings. " Sonji said, pointing to the hotsprings Mission. " 'The owner of the hotsprings need help repairing the fences and cleaning up. ' That is the one. " Sonji said, pointing to the mission. He looked at Sora. " If that is ok. " Sonji said smiling at Sora. ' Tch... And I guess I don't get to meet the Raikage... oh well, she'll be around for quite a while... I should probably ask her about a new contract for the Cathedral... ' Sonji thought to himself, his inner self filled with disgust that he had to go to her to add changes to the cathedral. " Or any other one that you think would aid me in my training for teamwork. " He said laughing, showing no sign that he was truely disgusted by having to do such training in order to get his necklace peice that was his replacement for his headband.
" After all, I'm supposed to be learning the benefits of a team. " Sonji said laughing lightly. He opened his eyes and looked at Sora. " So, it's up to you which one we do. " Sonji said smiling. Necrosis hung lazily off his shoulder, obviously not feeling well from the jolting he had just gotten. He was slightly hungry too, but Sonji could only faintly tell.

"Eheh, don't worry," Sora replied as she took off the piece of paper that had the mission Sonji wanted written on it, "Besides, an important part of teamwork is compromise and getting to know what others want." After pocketing the paper with the information on the mission, Sora took another glance at the board and took off another notice. "As for me," she explained as she showed Sonji the mission she had chosen, "I hope you don't mind if we run around a bit? You don't have any allergies to cats, do you?". Obviously, she had chosen the "Catch the Cat" mission. She continued, "By the way, is Necrosis the name of your snake?". She had never really caught Sonji's snake's name, and the only likely being named "Necrosis" in the area was the snake.

" Yeah, It is because he is a Balthrops Asper. An albino Balthrops asper. Their venom makes your body rot. That's why his name is Necrosis. I didn't name him, and I haven't thought of a better name for him... Maybe I should some day. " Sonji said smiling and looking over at Necrosis. He let out a soft hiss, and Necrosis raised his head up to Sonji's lips. " Good boy. " Sonji whispered lightly, looking at Sora again. " So which one shall we do first? " Sonji asked smiling. He honestly liked Sora. At least she hadn't disappointed yet. Sonji really didn't care which one they did first, as long as he graduated quickly.

"You two seem really close," Sora commented shortly before looking over the notice that she had just pulled off and the notice that Sonji had wanted, which she had just pulled out of her pocket, "And I guess we should do hot springs. Who knows, we might see the cat while we're cleaning." With that said, the girl flashed an energetic smile and with a last, "Let's go!" exited the building in a... slightly non-traditional way.
She had let her excitement get the better of her and decided to jump out through the window so as to get to the hot springs faster. As usual, her clumsiness got the better of her and the girl miraculously tripped backwards as her foot touched flat, solid ground after falling down a couple feet (Sonji, Necrosis, and Sora were only on the foot floor). With a thud, her head hit the window sill and then the ground, resulting in a painful-sounding, "Ouch!" followed by a weak, "I'm all right...," as Sora got back up on her feet. Trying to hide her accident, the girl moved on quickly and quickly put her energetic voice back up, "So, erm, let's go!". In no time, she was back to jogging towards the hot springs.

" Heh... She is entertaining. " Sonji said laughing. He looked at Necrosis and smiled down at him. " So, Think you could catch a cat and not bite it? " Sonji said laughing, walking out the front door of the Raikage's office building. Sonji turned and walked off toward the Hotsprings.

Misaki tilted her head to the side, deciding the best way to explain it all. "Well, I was alone in the technical sense. No human contact, besides the few visits from daddy and a few others. But remember, I was surrounded by nature. Animals were all over that mountain. And since I have the Anigan, I got to really know them." She beamed, but her smile somewhat faded around the edges. Now that I have mom again, will I be able to live up there anymore?

Misaki nodded with a smile on her face. "I was, but it was fine. Daddy visited almost every week, and Aoi and Jade came by sometimes too. I haven't seen Uncle Sarukin in a while, though. He used to stay with me for days at a time. Do you know what happened to him? Is he at least ok?" She twirled one of her ponytails with her finger.

"No. I haven't spoken to Sarukin in a long time. I don't know what condition he is in hun. But I"m sure he's fine where ever he may be. He's a big boy and can take care of himself. she replied with an assuring smile, meanwhile her thoughts were saying other. "As long as there are girls around they both should be fine...." Misaki nodded, somewhat reassured by her mom's words. Talking about her father made her remember the last time he visited her on the mountain, introducing her to his new girl. "Mommy, you still love daddy, right?" she asked tentatively, shifting from foot to foot. "Are you ok with his new girlfriend? Personally, I don't like her much. But I'm nice to her because daddy asked it of me." She made a face, then smiled and continued. "Can you two get back together? I'm sure that if you tell him you love him, he'll leave her to get with you! Then we can be a family again, and live on the mountain with all the animals and the spirit!" She beamed at the idea, wishing strongly for her family to be one again.
