"I guess… I'm not too sure why they'd look up to me though; remember, I'm like a rule nazi." Alessa attempted at a joke, hoping that it would mask her insecurities to Ace. At the mention of her dancing, she turned yet another shade darker. In the background, one of the spectators gave a loud whistle, but she ignored it. As the music had changed from what she could dance to, Alessa sighed and ended the dance. "Can we sit down please? Sandals aren't really my thing." she inquired, feeling a bit out of place at the dance with all of the music she had no clue about.

Nemo tensed his arms to prevent her from pulling away entirely. Unable to stop his hands from shaking, he laced them together at the small of her back and resumed his slow dance, rocking from foot to foot.
"It's ok," he murmured through his long bangs and timid grin. Those words were for him as well as her assurance. Never before had he let someone so close, but now that he had he wasn't so sure he could handle the loss to abruptly. His heart was hurting as it tried to resume a more normal rhythm, and his breath still came out a little thin. He couldn't help the low chuckle after the fourth squeaky wheeze.
"Baby steps," he reminded himself softly. He was nowhere near as confident as his demon, but the hard part was over right? He hadn't passed out or died before now, and he suspected that maybe he was made of sterner stuff after all. So he settled for what he could handle for now, hands respectfully on her back and head turned slightly so he wasn't breathing on her while he attempted to clear his airways.

Unable to pull away, she opened her mouth to make sure. "You--" Stopping herself short, she thought it over quickly in her head. If he wasn't sure, he wouldn't have hugged me close. If Nemo wasn't sure, he wouldn't have done anything he's done tonight. Shaking off her insecurities, she returned to the dance, feeling her cheeks grow a degree hotter.
After a couple of minutes like this, something occurred to her. "Where's Tsuki? I thought she was supposed to be performing more." Her thoughts escaped her mouth before she could reel them back in. Mentally slapping herself, she could've killed herself for ruining this small, precious moment with Nemo. What am I doing, thinking of my best friend when I'm with… no, I'm starting to sound like one of those preppy girls who only think about… Biting her lip, she attempted to apologize to Nemo.

Almost as soon as Nemo heard the words leave her lips he pushed her from him rather violently. His hand flew to his head and he screamed in pain. His eyes teared and his voice cracked from the force of his yell, the seering pain that shot through his head.
Images of Tsukiko flashed red before his eyes, mixed with visions that Palian hurriedly sent upon his unexpected re-entry. It was not normal, this he knew. Palian never hurt him when he returned to his subconscious sanctum. Maybe a nightmare or two, but never a pain like this had he felt.
"What's happened?" Nemo cried as he collapsed to his knees, now swaying with the continued onslaught to his skull like a jack hammer to weak concrete. Lifting his stormy gaze to the girl he had involuntarily thrown, he tried to apologize, but only winced in pain.
What was most frightening of all was Palian's voice, spoken through the small boys lips as his own.
"They took her."

Ryo was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the scream. With out even realizing it he ran to it. Catching the last words in a voice he had heard in a nightmare. It wasn't Nemo's voice, it was the voice of the dream demon that Tsukiko had chosen. "Tell me who took her!!" He was yelling, screaming, begging. His once happy cheerful eyes where now filled with pain. Both his arms quickly turned into scythes. "Alessa!" Vaughly remembering the girl's name. "Call a lock down on the school. They will not take anyone else." Grumbling he didn't take time to rationalize. He had a blood lust now.
Charging outside he didn't mind the cold. Tsukiko needed him, someone anyone really. He should have know, why didn't he think of this. In the end he was upset with himself. She was alone now, these things took her. They took his Tsukiko, the girl that brought a meaning to his lifeless life. "I will find you, and I will bring you home. I will find you Tsukiko, don't you dare think I'm going to leave you." He didn't think he had a connection with her anymore. He tried to though, by god he tried to comfort her in that promise.

Why was it so dark? Where was she? Why did her head hurt so much? More tears streamed down her face. Why was she crying? Her head was spinning as she open and closed her eyes. Darkness always meeting her. Remembering everything in a flash more tears and a choked sob. Blindfolded her wrists and ankles tied together. She could feel her face swelling, her lip was bleeding into the cloth that gagged her. Surly she had a black eye, she couldn't feel or move her right arm. She was sure the shoulder was dislocated as well. one leg was twisted at an odd angle and she had no control over it. Think of a spell any spell that would heal her. Nothing happened, another spell and nothing. She tried ever spell she knew, ever little bit of magic she learned. Nothing. No water movement not tears turning into ice. Not only had they taken her, they had taken her powers form her....they had taken him from her. Palian....he was gone, they had killed him. Something made her bounce and she hit her head going up and down. For several moment she could only see white. It was scarier then the darkness. They had forced her to watch as they kill him. It hit her like nothing else. This pain wasn't even pain. It was literally like she was dieing. They wouldn't know she's gone. No one will notice until after the dance, or in the morning or even later then that. How long would it be until they miss her. Her small happiness at this school, her lover. He was gone, she'd never know what she really meant to him. She would never get to scream for him, or try to free him....he would never see her drawings she had worked so hard on. This was it for her. It was over now. Her ripped dress showed she was no longer her own person. These people where going to use her now. To take her magic, run test on her, anything and everything. No one was going to come for her. Why should they, she had failed them all. Gulping as she tried to take it all in. Basically she was dead, just a body in some dark place hidden away. Nothing ever good came from her spending time with Palian. It was the reason he was dead now. Why had she wanted to see him. To kiss him and try to make her last Harvest Dance a good one. She was broken now, there was no hope for her in this dark place. She was now alone. Tsukiko was better off dead, and she would be the first chance she could get.

As she stumbled away from Nemo, a look of uncertainty and hurt crossed her face for a brief moment, before everything came crashing down. Nemo in pain, someone shouting for a lockdown, but the eerie voice of Palian coming from Nemo's lips scared her the most."They took her."Fyte couldn't move, couldn't even register the command to make her limbs move. "W…what do you mean, they took her." She whispered, kneeling slowly in front of Nemo. Her lip trembled, afraid of what was happening. "Who took her. What did they do to you. What did they do to her? What are they going to do to her?!" She hadn't realized that she was yelling until the last word left her mouth. Gulping down air, Fyte barely registered her body was on the verge of a panic attack. They couldn't have taken her… no, not Tsuki. Not the first person to accept me for what I am, who I am. Not my best friend.
Choking back a sob, Fyte lifted a hand to her face, only to completely register that she was crying. She hadn't cried in ages, and definitely not in front of anyone. Nemo's crying too. Fyte thought to herself, though she couldn't bring herself to comfort the boy. As much as she wanted to wipe those tears of his away, she couldn't, for the hurt and insecurities she had buried away deep inside of her began to resurface. All because he shoved her away. Swallowing hard, she tried to focus on breathing, so that she would not end up flat out cold on the floor. "Palian… please. What happened? Tell us everything you know." Fyte begged the demon, the only one she could turn for help.

A scream cut through the deafening roar of the crowd and music, causing everyone to freeze. Jerking her head in the direction of the strangled cry, Alessa gave Ace a very apologetic look before marching over to the scene. "Tell me what happened and on what basis I should call a lockdown." She demanded of Ryo, though she could feel the severity of the situation which had been thrust upon them. Before she could get her answer, he had run out of the building, ignoring her call to wait. "Reckless kid." she muttered under her breath. "All units, standby for a Code Red! I repeat, standby for a Code Red!" Ignoring the groans and moans of the other students, she looked to her next source. Kneeling next to Nemo, she murmured quietly. "Please tell us everything you know. I can't mobilize the teams into action until I know what went down." Alessa told Nemo, staying a respectable distance from him and Fyte. Why do these things always happen…

(For simplicity's sake, I'm just having my text be green. It will just be Nemo at this point. Anything in black will be referring to characters not including Nemo or Palian. ~'^)
"Stupid, you let your guard down," Nemo ground out, one fist clenching at his hair, the other poised at his lips with the tip of the thumb pinched between his teeth. The pain began to ease, but with it his strength. Nemo knelt onto one knee, his face lowered as he attempted to even out his breathing. His eyes widened as he recognized the signs of his fatigue and the images became more clear in his mind.
"They took his reserves of energy, forced him to either gather from those he'd made contact with, or disappear. But the energy he took from them, it hurts," he said slowly as a pounding headache resumed.
"I hurt," Palian said through the boys lips. It was weaker sounding, like a hiss of steam. He shook his head to regain control. Never before had Palian shown through to his conscious mind and it was disturbing.
He looked up at Fyte, unshed tears blurring his vision. She looked upset, which he could easily understand given the situation. Yet he knew that it ran a little deeper, even if the details were hidden. He wished he hadn't acted so rashly when he pushed her away, but the jolt of Palian's return had been unexpectedly severe. He could not change the past, but he was damned if he wasn't going to learn from his mistakes.
He knew that they needed information, but he had little to give after that. All he knew was that they hurt Tsukiko, poisoned Palian and had disappeared with her into the night, all of which he readily relayed. The only other detail he could relay was one of his own.
"Those men look familiar," Nemo realized, looking at Alyssa. "They were at that place." He was referring to, of course, the assailants that had kidnapped him only a few short weeks ago. Though they had failed the first time, it showed these men, whoever they were, were very determined to get their hands on Hexe's students.
A spark of anger settled deep within the dreamscaper as he forced himself to his feet. He stumbled slightly, but would not be deterred as he walked out the side of the stage and towards the emergency exit. He needed to move, even if it was only futile steps until they knew where to start looking for their friend.
"Come on. I've been the victim too long. Now it is because of me that these people have gone after our friends. We have to find her before they try to do whatever it is they have planned." He had never felt so heroic before, but he wasn't going to stand idle any longer while so many kids depended on them to keep the school safe.
And then there was the matter of his demon. It was all too clear, that he was gaining in power without his noticing. That he had been using energy he gleaned from others than his master, it weighed heavily now. Yet despite that, he had been bypassed as if he was truly nothing more than a figment. At least to him, little by little, he had started to see Palian as something more than just a living nightmare.
"He was always above pain," he murmured to himself. "That we share it now, I cannot let it pass without retaliation."

Coming inside It was clear what Ryo had on his mind. Looking at Nemo he wasn't trying to stay calm. This was Tsukiko, in his mine she would always be his. It was like a Phantom of the Opera only it was like they both play the parts of the male leads. "I need to know why they took her. I need to know if they know she's a witch. Please if they know how lucky they are to have gotten the last witch she's dead....that or they are going to do some horrible things to her." Keeping his voice down as best as he could. They where the only ones who knew Tsukiko's true powers. They didn't know what witches went through so long ago.
"I found some tire tracks that lead to the school gate. I don't know where they go from there. Tell me what I can do or I will leave and go after her myself." He wasn't kidding either, he would leave and try to find her on his own. They didn't understand how fragile her mental state is. "If they do anything to her, even if they don't kill her. That doesn't mean she won't kill herself. Nemo I know she's shown you her scars." For all he knew Tsukiko was dead by now, or they where raping her in the backseat of the car or out in the woods. He could hear her screams in his head. Yet he had no way of wrapping his arms around her to stop the abuse. It felt like it killed him to know that she was hurt and he couldn't do anything to stop it. His arms returned to their normal shape long ago and his fist here almost white.
"Please explain to me what happened." He could care less about the demon. If Tsukiko wouldn't have gone off with him she wouldn't have been taken. Was she even with the demon. Ryo didn't know, he had been dancing, having fun. Now this, this was his fault, hi fault for not protecting her like he was suppose to.

The sedan had left the campus smoothly, without incident. They couldn't believe they had made it out quite so easily. In fact, they kept their guards up despite this quick getaway, knowing that the figment would likely sound the alarms after his disappearance.
It had only been a few weeks since their botched attempt to steal the dreamscaper, but their employer was still adamant that they could still profit from the children at Hexe's. To top it off, they had a few surprises up their sleeves should any of them tried to be hero's.
Three men climbed out of the car after the gates of the compound closed behind them sometime later. The ride had been smooth, uneventful. One of them yanked open the trunk and pulled out the bound girl within. Hoisting her over one shoulder, they brought her inside, a wary eye on the gentle snowflakes that drifted down.
"Ah welcome my dear," a smooth elderly voice called soon after they left the cold night behind. Since she was blindfolded she could not make out her surroundings nor the owner of the voice.
"Forgive us the rude circumstances that bring you here. I assure you that we will make sure you are well taken care of," he continued softly as if he was walking away again. The man that carried her moved to follow, his bulky shoulders bumping into her stomach with each step.

She couldn't stop shaking now. Trying to scream with all her might it didn't work. They had her right where they wanted her. Tsukiko wanted to be brave, she want to know she could make it out of here alive. Hope had vanished with Palian. She didn't have the energy to fight now, it was hopeless already. Feeling sick from all the rocky movements from the past bit she wondered what they considered good circumstances if beating the crap out of her was just rude. Behind the blind fold she tried to blink away tears. Her mother's lullaby, those times with her brother at the beach, the fairy costume she loved to wear. Something anything she could hold on to for joy. Tears slid down her face though and she wanted this gag out of her mouth so she could be sick. Squirming slightly, she wasn't a fight as a weak little girl. 'Please don't let them know I'm a witch. Please oh please if there is a god don't let them know I'm a witch.' Tsukiko wasn't a child of god, no god loved her. She hoped they would at least give her the pleasure of being unconscious when they did what ever they planned. More tears now. Her happy place was gone. All her sweet dreams had been ripped away. She was now in the middle of her nightmares. This was her own personally designed hell. In the back of her mind she slowly found a new happy place. One in which she was in this hell and everyone else could live happily without her. Yes she could already she little version of Ryo running around. He's live her dream of being a parent for her. Fyte would get her wedding she always wanted. Nemo a peaceful nights sleep, she hoped at lease. If she could tell herself that and believe it, then she could go through hell for it. After all it was all she had, how had they take so much from the girl who had nothing. 'One day at a time.' How long was eternity? Would it go by fast or slow? To many questions again. The first chance she got, she was slitting her own throat.

A loud groan escaped her lips, and Alessa couldn't help but to lift her hand to meet her dropping face. "Damnit. Of all the people… they're probably the same people behind Ace's kidnapping too." Alessa muttered to no one in particular. However, she could not deny that the little information he (and Ryo) had given had been so helpful to her. Now she was able to act. "For now, you just stay here and keep your cool while we sort this mess out. Give me an hour, and by then we should have a solid plan going." Alessa addressed Ryo before heading off.
Jumping onto the stage, she grabbed the mic out from the mic stand. A cold glare killed the protest of the techies and the performers, though she did send an apologetic look towards the redhead in the crowd (whom she knew was in charge of all this). "Students, I regret to inform you that tonight's event has come to an end. While I know you're upset, this is in the best interest for your safety. Please exit the gymnasium in an orderly fashion back to your dorm rooms. Anyone caught out of their dorm buildings will be on cleaning duty for a week. I repeat, please go back to your dorms until we have given the all clear. Squads Charlie through Echo, please help to escort the students back and make sure no one is outside. Alpha and Bravo, meet me next to the stage after this announcement. That is all." hopping off of the stage, she found some of her Alpha squad already there. "We've got another kidnapping on our hands," she started, noticing a lot of them groaning. "I know, I know, last time the rescue mission didn't turn out so well. But we all know the risks. I'm also asking Beta squad to join us as well this time. We've also got a few of her friends tagging along. With that said, we need to track these people down first. They most likely moved their headquarters since last time, especially with all the damage done there. That said, we also need to up our game, hence the reason why Beta is joining us, now…" Alessa drilled her comrades on about the situation, briefing the new ones to what was going on and trying to formulate a plan as quickly as possible. Time was running against them.

The moment she heard the screaming, her bubble shattered. Ryo abandoned her as he darted behind the curtains. Before she could determine what happened, Alessa made an announcement atop her stage. Directions for evacuation and protection.
She couldn't help the feeling of annoyance as she took a calming breath. It was just her luck, that the world was on the verge of destruction the moment she decided to take a breather. At least metaphysically. However, she wasted no time in self loathing before jumping into the fray to help in any way she could.
Kat soon found herself with the group that was going to be going in search of the girl. She hadn't planned on it, but seeing the grim face of Ryo made the decision for her. There was no way she'd admit it aloud, but she liked his smile, shy and hard to come by as it was. Katanna was a sucker for a badass with a tender inside. She only hoped that her talents would be of use.

Unsure of what to do at the moment, Fyte stuck by Ryo and Alessa as the rest of the gym tried to leave. Though she wanted to go with Nemo, her insecurities convinced her that she would only be in his way and that he didn't want her around. Feeling a hollowness eat out the inside of her chest, Fyte bit her lip to keep the tears in. Despite her efforts, a few leaked out, spilling over her cheeks before she wiped them away. Hearing Alessa mention something about tracking the van down, Fyte shakily raised her hand. If there was something, anything she could do, she would pitch in.
She soon found herself among the tracking group, for starters. She had discussed it with Alessa (as much as she could civilly, anyway), and they had come to the agreement that she would be able to help with the entire mission. Alessa had debated with Fyte until the latter was nearly having a breakdown again when the lavender-haired girl agreed. As guilty as she felt for unfairly using her emotions against Alessa, Fyte was glad to know that she'd be able to give her all in rescuing her friend. Tsuki, hold on. We're coming for you. She thought, hoping her friend wouldn't do anything drastic.
