Hahaha, well, my math teacher didn't teach out of the textbook, so it was okay. We only used our books for homework.

That's pretty awesome. I remember that's all what the 6th and 7th grade teachers did. And the new teachers at my high school.

Honestly, I think some of them are too confusing for kids to understand so teachers have to dumb it down, except for history.

We have the 7th, 8th, and 9th as half days p: Though admittedly the gloating factor is lost when you consider that it's only shortened because of finals.
