oooooh! What about a combination of the two? A form of catapult launches them into the air when they step on a spot, then they come back down, the cover for the whole cushions them enough to keep them alive after the fall, but they break their arms and legs and ribs etc. and bleed to death!
That would be a wonderful trap =D

And yes, I know that. But if we start with the catapult, you get your way, and the person dies anyway. Only difference is less torture =3

You know that Fairy Tail Guild I've been busting my a** over for the past two months to get active? Well two days ago I read a post in an academy thread by the captain that it's taking too long so he's going to do a time skip to graduation day so everyone can go off to their guild of choice.
I'm against it because we have about 5 active members. And just spreading them out to different guilds would make RPing difficult. The captain's answer was, 'I know, but if you look at it, everyone who is active in the guild posted not even 24 hours after that announcement, I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was getting a little boring.'
Yeah and no one posted anything else since. And it may have been boring to him but I was the only one making a damn effort to have something for members to do. No one wanted to be a teacher, no one was doing anything even the captain, I was the one who came up with an activity contest the winner had only posted 4 times in a month. UGH! So I just gave up on it all. No use busting my a** any more.

I thought they all sparkled but they didn't have wings. And some eat berries, while other eat meat or blood. Oh, and they can be anywhere from butterfly sized to human sized.

I wouldn't bother right now. Activity is low the captain is hardly around and he's planning on selling if activity doesn't go up. I've done my best and I'm not about to try anymore.

I think the most obnoxious thing that has ever happened to me in a role play was actually one I started. So I gave the point of main villain to someone that asked and after looking at their stuff decided "Okay look's like they'll do a good job" and let them in. Well we get about 20 pages in and I'm doing my own thing with other characters and Carefully my minor villain makes his way onto the main's property as he's supposed to to be recruited as a minion. I get in, sign up, yadda yadda. Well the basic idea of this role play was that it was a bunch of fairy tales all dropped into the real world and two people could write their way to destroy them or help them. The villain refused to write a word to further the plot. Instead He drags me and like three other minions all over the world looking for stupid s**t. At first I was like "okay this might be going somewhere" but it never did. Eventually I tell the person "Hey have your character actually act like he should and write something to further the REAL plot of this story." She didn't post for two weeks. I messaged her again and she never responded. It died because I asked the villain to do what she was supposed to do.
