Cadence's lower lip was trembling as he spoke; she didn't want to lose a friend before even making one. She always wanted friends to talk with, and upsetting them made her heart explode. When the male apologized, the neko's ears lifted off the back of her neck slightly in confusion; it wasn't his fault. He obviously didn't know she was a scaredy cat. "O-Oh..n-no m-mister..you didn't know.." Cadence whimpered in retaliation, the responsibility she felt for everything made her such an apologetic kitten.
Her golden brown flesh turned a deep crimson as he ran his hand over her damp forehead; water must have spilled all over her. Cadence coiled her arms around her small waist and kept her eyes on the floor. "M-Mother always said I was a l-little kitten o-on the inside..no matter h-how old I get.." She sighed heavily, an kward silence following her odd comment about family.
"I-I spilled the water...ohhh...that l-lady from earlier will be s-so angry with Cadence..." The thought of the young lady yelling at her for doing something wrong made tears well up in the neko's eyes. ""I-I don't like being yelled at..nyeeehh.."

 "I can clean it up." He laughed, as he ran a hand through his hair. "Noone's asking you to grow up. Like I eve really grow up." He gave a small chuckle, as he leaned forward, and hugged her. "You don't have to worry, m'kay?" She was quite interesting to be arround, but she needed to calm down a little. She was a little too serious.

Cadence squeaked in surprise at the sudden contact, but didn't seem to mind; she needed to comfort right now. Her crimson eyes grew wide as he offered to clean her mess, and the neko nearly died on the inside. "I-I can do it...m-mister...Oh-oh my!" She clasped her hands over her mouth like a small five year old. After a moment, she pulled her hands away to reveal a large smile. "I don't know your name..."
The Neko seemed to calm down after the hug, and returned to her perky yet shy self once again. Her auburn mass of a tail swayed gently from side to side, occassionally coiling itself around her leg. She smiled brilliantly at the stranger, her two cat teeth glittered like snow; Cadence was too modest to admit how pretty she really was.

"My name's Zethel, but you can call me Zee." He laughed, as he pulled away, as a small breeze ruffled past him. "How about you?" He almost added 'beautiful', but, baby steps, right? He was always shy, but he was always trying to be bold. A problem of his. He was an angel and really prefered modesty over the time, but he didn't know he was an angel. Cadence's smile turned into a broad grin as she tugged on the celestial ribbon surrounding her bangs. A soft purr escaped the young lady as she began batting at it playfully. "Zethel...that's pretty.." honestly she adored the name; it was so unique and beautiful. She chewed on her bottom pink lip again, her ears perked forward fully.
Her nose twitched as she caught his scent and took it into account; she would never forget him again. However he had a unique smell only a certain race had; each one had specific things that made her nose go crazy. Zee was an angel; a creature of light. Cadence giggled contently as she launched herself onto him in a ginormous hug. I"m Cadence Sasua!! It is a pleasure to m-met you Zee!!"

"And a pleasure to meet you too, Cadence." he laughed, as he hugged her again. "Your name suits you very well. I hope you know that." He pulled away again, grainning, as he waved his hand, and controlled the air currents of the room, and raised a mop, bringing it over. He always prided himself with his skills, which were useful for casual time, as well as in a fight, and it gave him grace. Also, using it, he could fly, which he loved very much. Cadence giggled as the wind swept past her, knocking locks of radiant crimson hair into her face. She batted at them playfully until she saw the broom fly into his hand. "Wow...I can't do anything special.." The neko was very modest about her powers; she barely knew how to control her abilities as they were.
"My mother said that my name means..Melodus...or something like t-that.." She blinked several times and then chuckled, embarassed that she remembered that simple thing her mother used to comment about. Cadence purred softly, staying far away from the puddle of water. She would never go anywhere near the pool unless absolutely necessary.

"You might not have any special powers, but you good at anything?" he asked, grinning, as he began to mop the water up. He closed his eyes, and gave a soft sigh, before opening them again. "I wish I had ears and tails like yours, Cadence, I really do." It was quite true, at least they wouldn't knock things over. "I'm really clumsy ont eh ground with my wings, and they're so large, I wouldn't be allowed anywhere int eh buildings here with them on. Heck, I probably couldn't fit the doors..." "Uhh...well...I hope the lady doesn't get mad at me.." Cadence took a deep breath and suddenly screamed, her fists clenched tightly with her eyes shut tight. Small soundwaves began to make the greenhouse shake uneasily. A few pots smashed onto the ground, and the neko shut her mouth immeadiately. Luckily, she was not upset so her soundmanipulation did little to nothing; besides make everything shake violently. "I...suppose I can manipulate sound..or something like that.." The neko grabbed a broom and wandered lamely over to the shattered pots, quickly sweeping them away.
She chewed on her lower lip as she watched him with a slight smile; the idea of having wings was amazing. She loved her ears and tail though. They gave her comfort when others were not able to do so. "My ears and tail have h-helped me alot..I love your wings though...t-they're beautiful." Her eyes shimmered with admiration; angels were amazing creatures. Cadence was content knowing just one.

Zethel winced, and stumbled back, and almost fell, as he controlled the air streams around him, and created a void emtpy of air around him, quickly draining his energy until she stopped. Hearing about how beautiful his wings were, he laughed, flicking at the two small ones pointing up from his shoulder. "These aren't real, you see... I have them just for style." Witht hat , he gave a nervous smile, and propped the mop against one of the tables, and leaned back onto one himself. "I usually don't show my real ones. "Everyone thinks this is my true form as well.." Cadence replied quietly, raking a danty hand through her soft, auburn mane. She had not told him of her ability to shapeshift, and the fact she had not revealed her true appaerence to anyone. Ever since she left home for Art School in New York, the neko has always been afraid of what others thought. So, she changed her appearence.
Her eyes traveled over to Zethel who seemed excessively tired. It clicked in her head what must have happened; a wave of guilt fell over the neko. "Oh my goodness I'm soo sorry...are you okay Zee?!?" Cadence bounded over to the angel, staring up at him with obvious concern. Her burgundy ears had disappeared into her mass of hair, and the tail was wrapped tightly around her waist as if comforting the neko.

"You have a true form?" he asked, surprised. He raised an eyebrow, and pushed off the table, and went back up to her, smiling kindly. "And there's nothing me that I can't cure." Zethel added, hearing her concerned voice. "I'm like a good luck charm. Almost nothing wrong ever happens near me!" It was quite true. Of course misfortune was bound to happen, but he was very lucky to anyone he considered friends, on a large note. It was like losing a penny and gaining a loonie, right? Cadence blushed and nodded quickly, tugging at her tail uneasily. She had never spoken of her shapeshifting ability to anyone; only shown them. Infact, the neko has never spoken of her differnet identity to anyone before. It isn't a big deal or anything, but literally looking like a cat-human really irked Cadence.
She smiled brilliantly when she saw he was alright. "Oh good!" Her hands came together in several claps of joy before they rested lazily ontop of her head; playing with the ribbon was something she couldn't help but do. "A...lucky charm?" Cadence blinked in confusion and stared at Zee with two ruby orbs. "Haha...Cadence is a klutz...everything is always her fault.." Her ears drooped slightly and her tail stopped its monotinous swaying. She hated being who she was for the misfortunes and mistakes the neko has made in the past. On ocassion it has made her lose a friend or two.

"Yup!" he laughed, as he hugged her tightly. One of his hands had trailed down, and rubbed her tail. Curious, he began to rub it, closing his eyes, and enjoying the texture the tail had, loving the softness, and the fur it had. He absolutely would have adored having a tail, and wished he could change shape to have it. It was such a shame Atra was the one with the shapeshifting powers. Cadence snuggled into his shoulder contently, purring softly into his ear. Zethel was such a sweetheart, and she couldn't have been happier to have met him. "Yes...Cadence is a bad kitty!" She put on a five-year old expression then giggled excessively at her oddities.
She squeaked as he ran her fingers through her tail, but laughed soon after. It tickled terribly, but she loved the feeling of his fingers against her furry tail. Cadence grinned contently as it coiled around his arm gently, then pulling away; her fur gently stroked over his skin.
The neko giggled again, her fleshy cheeks turning a light shade of pink. Normally Cadence would die if someone touched her at all, but a surge of bravery flooded the neko. Her arms stayed against his chest, but she made no move to do anything with them. She felt wonderful being held so close.
