"Yeah, he must be with mother," replied Sora.

Ana looked outside. "After the rain stops, we'll search for her. The rain increases her powers."

Sonya was shivering. "It's soo cold," she said. What seemed to be a nice fall day turned into a cold, raining night. She could feel the water in her face turning into ice and her body going numb. "I hope Sasha and the others are okay."

Penance made one mental note to herself, If this is indeed the future, I have gotta make sure people stop calling me Penny. It was neither here nor there for a thought but she had let her mind drift for a second when she got annoyed that Ana was speaking to her like she was a child. War torn world or not, she was still the elder.

"You know me better than that, there's always room for a story," Penance stood up and tapped her fingers on one of the consols, "I am assuming you are intending to stop the assasination of Xavier and Kelly, change your future if indeed time can be manipulated in such a way."

Penance held up her hand before anyody could interject that statement, "Time is a funny thing. We may change your future or we may create a different branch in time. Either way, I'm not planning on letting Charles Xavier die when we know it can stop."

"You have our resources with the condition that everything goes through me. I can't give you a blank check with the X-Men but I can give you our assistance. I'm also willing to bet you will have the aid of other students here, X-Men or not... you also might want access to the mutant database, we can search out the one you're looking for through there if time permits you."

He nodded. "Let's go...." He started to head outside. "Ok....first we search the grounds...let's make sure....father has problems with water...and in this rain he'll want to take shelter fairly quickly...." He said as they walked.

He looked at her curiously. "But why?" He asked. "Why would they want to come after us?" He said hugging her close. "It's alright....I'm here...I won't let them hurt you...."

"....." Things were heating up, the person who had met once as 'Jade,' but now acting like a different person, as well as being called one, was at odds with these visitors. He would side with the X-Men, for now. It is, however, kind of annoying not to know the person being discussed.

"No kidding...." He said and spotted the tracks in the mud. His gaze followed them and spotted the tool shack. "Hmmm.......let's check that out first..." He said trudging over towards it. It was almost the perfict spot.

He sighed keeping her closer to the heater as it warmed up. "So, were do you think we should go next?" He asked curiously still holding her. He wasn't really looking out the windows so he missed Sora and Sato coming.

"Huh?" He asked blinking, a bit startled by the question. "Well...." Before he could answer Sora opened the door. He jumped his arm protectively around her. "Who are you??" He asked at the same time.

Sato rolled his eyes. "Seriously sister dear...you need to grow up..." He said from behind her. "I seriously wonder some days which one of us is older..." He looked into the room. "The actual explanation of that would be fairly long and complicated.....to make said long story short...we're friends." He dared not mention that they were their children.

He was just as red. "Why should we believe you..." He stopped as he looked between Sora and Sato. "Ummmm......do I know the two of you....you look awfully familiar....."

He almost burst out laughing when she told him to go find his parents. "Look, can you just please come with us....explanations later...saving your lives first." He got somewhat shifty eyed at Markus's question. ninja "That's a good question and the answer is extremely complicated...technicly.....no we've never met...in this time that is." He said calmly.

Pietro followed Ana outside, placing a hand on her shoulder, mildy unnerved at her seemingly cold exterior. He had hoped that she would grow up happy, or at the very least, as sure of herself as he was. But then again, she probably had more important things to worry about.

"So..." he said. "You dont really have any intention of letting her go, do you?" he asked.

"No... dad. No I don't."

"And why might that be?"

She grew even colder, not looking him in the eye. "She killed my father, of course," she stated, trying to remove herself emotionally from this younger version of her dad. "I can't outright kill her, as she's mothered a few members of my team... but I do want to make her pay. I want to render her so that she could never hurt anyone again, whether she had the desire or not."

She winced, expecting repremand from her father. Instead, he smiled.

"Don't worry, I won't stop you," he said. "She's the reason my arm's like this, and she's not even 'evil' yet. If she has to go down, I won't hesitate either."
