Akemi took a bite of her apple and swallowed quickly as Sakura talked to her.
"Congratulations, Sakura-chan!!" Akemi beamed and hugged her friend, "I'm sure you will make a great geisha one day! i slept very well, thank you, did you?"
Akemi stopped talking just as the beautiful Tora walked into the room. She bowed to her and said, "Hello, Tora. My name is Akemi."
She continued to eat her sweet, juicy apple and contemplated what job to do first today. She finished her apple and went to place the core in the bin, "If you'll excuse me. . ." she exited from the room and went to find a bucket and cloth in the cleaning cupboard.
After a while, she finally found what she was looking for and returned to the kitchen to fill the bucket with water. When the bucket was full Akemi hoisted in on to her arm and made her way upstairs to scrub the floors. She lowered herself onto the floor, dipped the cloth into the bucket and started to scrub.

"Serena-san," Ayame asked, happiness of becoming a maiko and dread of no mentor of guiding her to her goal filling her heart, "Who is my onee-san?" Tora turned to Ayame upon hearing her question. She looked to Serena and smiled, knowing she had a lot Imouto-chan's. She giggled. "Ayame," Tora smiled, "I could be your onee-sama, if you'd like." ((OOC: Rose, you need to go do yours too! =^w^=))

Sakura hugeed Akemi, "I slept very well thx." Sakura went to find Serena-san, "Who is my onee-san?"

Amaya returned from hanging the wash. On her way she saw Sakura.
"Hello, dear friend. Where have you been lately? I've been cleaning and doing other chores. I was about to run to the market for some fish."
She wondered where Sakura had been all this time, while she was by herself.

Akemi carried on scrubbing furiously at the wooden floors, down on her hands and knees. When she had finished the upstairs floor, she carefully made her way down the stairs. She would scrub the downstairs floors later; when there was less chance of people walking about.
She heard Amaya mention that she was going to the market and she perked up, "Would you mind greatly if I came with you, Amaya-chan?"

"No, I wouldn't. I'd be glad of the company." With that Amaya grabbed her basket and slid open the door and they began to walk to the market.

Akemi smiled and ran her fingers through her hair, hoping she looked presentable.
"Thank you!" She said to Amaya, "It'll be nice to get some fresh air."
She picked up her own basket and stepped out of the door, closing it quietly behind her. She breathed in the air and beamed. Akemi linked her arm with Amaya's and set off happily.

Amattyan had found where the clothes go and placed them up neatly, like she used to at home. She wondered around the ahlls, cleaning where it appears to need it before she settled down and began cleaning the shoji screens. after finishing with that she went downstairs and began cleaning the porch.

Amattyan had pulled the skirt of her kimono up over her knees and tied back her sleeves and scrubbed the porch circulating around the garden. She was aware another maid was washing the inside floors but not what the other maids were doing at the time. The apron she had brough with her had a few darkened spots on it, mostly from dirt from the garden, but a few from cooking stains at home. she sat back and wipped her forehead lightly. She looked out at the garden and smiled.

Amaya and Akemi linked arms and then walked out the door. Luckily the market place wasn't to long of a walk, just a few streets up from their okiya. They walked in silence. When they got to the market Amaya looked around at all of the exuisite food, some was even american. She walked up to the booth that was sailing fish and squid and began to browse.

"Really Serena-san?! Thank You so much!" Sakura exclaimed then bowed to Serena, "I am honored." Then Sakura walked down to the market and caught up with Amaya. Sakura was so pleased.
