Sanvi didn't dream as she slept. She started stirring early the next morning.

Garin was still watching her and kissed her face as she woke up.

Sanvi stretched and kissed him back gently. "Hey..." she said, still a little tired. "When are we going to go to that place?" she asked.

"Let's go now," Sanvi said. She stood up.
Jake and Shane appeared ing the woods. "It's not too much farther," Jake said. He started to walk towards the place.

Garin got up and took her hand. He started to lead her along.
Faith sped up to take jake's arm.

Sanvi followed closely after him.

Garin eventually stopped when they got to a clear, perfectly round lake.

"It's beautiful," Sanvi said, smiling.
Jake stopped at the edge of the woods. They would have been able to see the same lake. "There's two vampires here..." he said, his demon senses set off by the other nonhumans.

The wind shifted and Garin could smell there were other people here.
"What? Really?" Faith asked.

Sanvi could smell them too. "Who are they?" she asked Garin.
"Yeah," Jake said. "An older one and a newborn. Probably mates. We'd do best to stay here for a bit."

"I don't know," Garin whispered. "A demon, and maybe an elf and a human." He put an arm around her. "I want to know what they are doing here."
"Do you think they'll leave us alone?" Hope asked.

Sanvi stood. "I'll go find out," she said in a low voice. She started heading over to them.
"Probably," Jake said. Then he sensed the newborn coming. "Or not...the newborn's coming towards us. He stepped in front of the girls.
