Rather than placing Garrick back in his sling, Elnara held him in her arms so that he could look around and hopefully be distracted enough to keep quiet for a while. She hoped that her and Lore's home wouldn't be quite so grand as this one ... while it was beautiful, it was exactly what she had run away from as a teen.
"And off we go," she smiled at Kara, looking to Lore briefly for some reassurance.

The clan grounds were actually more like gardens than anything else, there were houses but there had plently of room between them and the grounds were separated by waterways, paths and bridges. Just over one of those bridges was the home of Elnara and Lore's home. It was one story, but the ground floor was large, to take into account that maybe... just maybe Elnara would adopt more children.
The walls were purposely grown with ivy, which lent it an old but cosy look, and the walls were white washed but the wood was of dark pine. The garden was relatively empty but it was because they knew that Elnara wanted roses from home and besides winter was settling in. Beside the home was a koi pond which was connected to a waterway.

Elnara's eyes grew wide as she saw the house that she and Lore would call home from that point onward. It was beautiful ... in many senses it seemed rather elvish - the pine walls, the ivy (which made her smile and brush one finger against the ring Lore had given her), the garden - and the pond just added the perfect touch to make it a place that Elnara never wanted to leave behind.
"It's beautiful," she breathed, her eyes sparkling brightly as she looked around. "It's ... more beautiful than anything I could ever have hoped for ..."
She looked up at Lore, her eyes bright with excitement.

Lore didn't know what to expect, but he had to agree. He had wondered a bit how they were going to live in a place that wasn't the home they had lived in for a year, but this would do... very very nicely.
Not to mention he was eying the chance the do something with the garden though not now it was far too late into the season.
"It is... it looks like it came from a fairytale."

"I'm glad, everyone pitched in to help," Kara smiled, "The house design was a mixture of Kali and Trisha... Kali because building things is her talent, but Trisha likes to design... and the garden layout is Yukiko's if you need plants from her, she runs the greenhouse, though she says she's waiting for when you go back to the Southland for the roses.. she's very interested in them," she laughed a bit.
At that moment the door to Elnara and Lore's home opened to reveal Triton and Yue, whom had taken the chairs and crib to the nursery. It didn't take a genius to figure out that Elnara had a child, however Triton whom had seen Urlich's work before figured that Elnara and Lore brought the crib with them because they hadn't expected Donovan to take it into account and besides Ulrich's work was too good to leave behind.
So it was no surprised that the men looked utterly shocked to see two bundles not one... well Triton looked quite shocked it was always kind of hard to tell how Yue felt at times.

Elnara couldn't help but agree with Lore's comment - it was a fairytale home. Perfect. Unimaginably perfect.
"I think we could probably find someone who's an expert at whatever we want, in this family," she giggled at Kara. "No matter what it is you want done."
But what made her laugh out loud was the look on Triton's face. He always had such clear expressions, but the look he had at the moment he saw Lore and Elnara was priceless.
"Hello to you, too," she giggled at her two brothers. "Come meet your niece and nephew."
Garrick had been startled by Elnara's outburst of laughter, and he looked as though he was about to start crying again. Hana woke up from her sleep at last and began to squirm in Lore's arms, fussing slightly between yawns.

"Oh nearly yes," Kara agreed, "The clan grounds will be open to public during the day, this way everyone who wants to open a business can do so close by and not worry about having to travel far. We offer nearly everything anyhow...."
And it would be the foundation in which their clan could be known, a peaceful thing compared to other clans.
Triton chuckled as he and Yue made their way towards the happy couple. He peered into Elnara's arms seeing the little babe, "I should have guessed that maybe you'd have twins," he told her warmly.
Though he couldn't remember Jin being so small, but he supposed Jin did not count really.
"Congratulations," Yue offered, "When you have time you should see Yukito, he'll be... well Yukito."

"Shhh... it's okay," Lore murmured softly to Hana rubbing her back slighlty.
Though he was aware that Hana hadn't eaten yet, so he wasn't sure if she was going to go back to sleep or not.

Elnara giggled and held Garrick against her shoulder, one hand behind his head, holding him close and rocking him gently.
"Yuki will be Yuki," she smiled at Yue, "as excitable as ever. Sometimes it's like he has the mind of a child, I have to admit ... though it's refreshing, after a world where everyone's of an adult mindset. I don't think you know Alyse ... she's twelve years old, between a child and teen, I guess would be the best way to explain it, and yet she was the one to take care of me during my pregnancy - well, after Lore of course."
She giggled again and turned to Triton. "Now, just because my father was a twin, and I have twin brothers," she winked at him, "didn't necessarily mean that I would have twins. Luthien didn't. Gion didn't. Elrohir didn't."
Garrick somehow managed to find his fist near his mouth and started sucking on it, his green eyes wide as he stared over Elnara's shoulder.
Hana for once had decided that she didn't want to be quiet. Her tongue made a few short sucking motions, and then her face wrinkled up and she started to cry softly.

Triton chuckled deeply at that, that was true, but in a way he shouldn't have been surprised she had twins. It was just that feeling though he didn't know how.
"True, but there was always that chance..." his ears twitched as he looked over to Lore, "Perhaps you'd like to come in," he commented.
Meanwhile Yue shook his head at Elnara's question, "I have not actually met anyone who lives near Ulani or Ulrich, or even met them, nor the people on the Ranch."
And the only time he had been there he had more pressing concerns.

Lore rubbed Hana's back but knew that once they started crying it would take quite a while to get them to stop crying.
"That would probably be a good idea," Lore replied.

Elnara was happy that at least Garrick wasn't crying - because even at her loudest, Hana's cries were bearable, while Garrick's were usually not. Still, he had a full belly, he had had a good sleep - there was really no reason for him to cry at the moment. She was proud of him for not being afraid of his new surroundings ... though it may simply have been curiosity more than anything. Who knew what he would be like when he was finally left more or less alone in his new room.
"Do you want me to take Hana, and you can take Garrick?" she suggested to Lore as they headed towards the house. "He seems pretty content with just looking around for the moment ..."
She glanced momentarily at Yue again. "I would have thought you might want to know at little bit more about the place where your daughter spends so much time," she commented with one raised eyebrow.

Lore nodded as he followed her, "That would probably be for the best. Chances are she might be hungry... and if not... well we'll figure it out once we get inside."
Though he was pretty sure that was the case, it was that or she needed to be changed.

"Just because I don't go out of my way to know them doesn't mean I don't know... I do admit it is through all the filtered eyes of Miyu, and well Miyu does see things differently than other people, but to know she is coming out of her shell there, tells me a lot about the place she loves to stay in."
He opened the door for Elnara.
"Don't let him fool you," Triton told Elnara plainly, "He's talked to the rest of us about the Borderlands, he has more than Miyu's view to go on."
So Yue had taken more than one point of view into consideration.
Kara had to giggle at that.

Elnara carefully switched children with Lore and, holding Hana against her shoulder and attempting to quiet her, stepped inside.
"Well, you never know," she murmured. Yue was after all always so distant ... even when she had first met him, when he'd been a teen (was it really so short a time ago?) he had been enigmatic and seemingly emotionless.
Once inside, she stepped to one side so that she wouldn't be in the way and looked around curiously.
