Closing his eyes, Sephiroth stooped to pick up his jacket. Sliding it over his shoulders, he took his time locking the clasps that held it in place. "Are you not aware that at the location known as Gold Saucer, you can win a duplicate of Masamune, for hardly any effort whatsoever? And are you also not aware that there have been a great many clones of me, as a result of the Jenova project? What had done the killing was me, to be sure, but it was not I that commited the crime."

Cody frowned...."But the skill...with the...I mean....damnit what did you say?" He shook his head...the poor kid was easily confused...Cody shook his head. " I can accept that it might've been a clone..but you say the one who killed my family was you...but you didn't commit the crime?

Nodding slowly, Sephiroth stepped to the staircase. However, he remained at the bottom, looking up, seeming slightly distracted. "...yes... After all, if a person is an exact copy of another, down to the smallest molecule, and shares the other person's memories...is that person not the same as the other?" Falling silent, he glanced back toward the bed.

Yuffie listened to the men talk quietly, While standing aside. She didn't have much of a part in this conversation so it was best to keep out of it when she didn't know what was being talked out all that well.

Cody frowned. " Whenever you decide to step outside...I ask only that you allow me to fight you....not to the death...I believe in the way of the samurai...the truth will come out when we cross blades." Cody saluted the man in perfect SOLDIER custom, then turned and made to walk out, hand resting on Yuffie's shoulder as he passes her.

Turning fully toward the bed, his gaze locked on the floor beneath it, he only slightly muttered, "..whatever.." Slowly stepping to the bed, he raised his hand toward it, then casually flicked his fingers to one side. In response, the bed itself skidded across the floor, revealing a secret panel. Narrowing his eyes, he thrust his hand to one side, summoning Masamune to his grasp from its place on the shelf he had set it on before he had fallen asleep. "...one last hiding place, eh?"

Yuffie looked back at Cody, Still in the state of denyal about the whole fighting thing. Even if it wasn't to kill, it was still something she'd rather not see be done. " Do you really want to do that? It wasn't him..So, why bother him?" She moved to follow after him, before stopping for a second. She heard Sephiroth say something,and decided to peer down from upstairs.

Cody got just outside, then stumbled forward, his sheathed sword coming in handy again as a crutch..."Ugh....damnit..he did it....but he didn't...it's...damn..." He shook his head, managing to stand as a familiar, soft-spoken voice called to him.
Rude smirked slightly, tilting his head to the side, and hiding the expression as he held his ribs. "Good to see you made it."

Yuffie blinked,noticeing he was already outside. She didn't know what to do! Go follow, or see what Sephiroth was looking at. Being Cody wasn't in the best condition, it would of been a better choice to follow after him.
"Umm.....I'll be right back, Sephy." Opening the door, She stood there in the doorway, which was probably going to annoy Sephiroth after letting in all the cold.
"What are you doing Cody...Your.....wha! Rude! "

Slowly striding to the panel, he only gave a nod, and the secret doorway flew open, the hinges nearly tearing apart. Leaping down into the hidden chamber, he brought Masamune to be level with his shoulder, quickly assessing the new room. Against one wall, a single filing cabinet stood beside a stasis tube, which had become clouded over with frost. The contents inside could not be seen, although inside the thick glass, it was obviously warmer than out. Sephiroth's breath was visible as flourescent bulbs lit up, activated by a motion sensor in a corner. Slowly striding to the tube, he wiped off some of the frost, allowing himself to see inside. Backing away a step, he shook his head, thinking. "...a girl?"

Rude turned to Yuffie and nodded. " Take care of him. I'm going to find Reno." As soon as the words were out of the man's mouth he climbed onto the golden chocobo he was standing beside and took off.
Cody frowned, but could barely stand, much less catch the big man on the chocobo...." Rude...good luck."

Inside that tube, was indeed a young girl. By the looks of it, she looked to be in her mid teens, maybe about 16,17. The thing that might of thrown off Sephiroths thoughts in shock, was her apperence. Long white waist leghth hair flowed gently inside the tube,she wore a long black dress,though because of being in a deep sleep, he couldn't see how her eyes looked. Maybe, he already knew?

"Gah! Wait!" Yuffie shouted,with no luck. "You could of at least stayed to get healed.." Sighing, the girl walked back to Cody. "Man..Now if I can find Aerith and Cloud, that would be better. Then we can all look for him. How good is Rude going to be alone?"

Narrowing his eyes still further, he moved to the filing cabinet. Opening it, he found only a single file inside. Stabbing masamune into the floor so that it stood straight up, he grabbed the file, beginning to read through the file. She looked like another clone but...she felt different. She did not have the presence of Jenova.. As his eyes scoured the pages, they finally told him why this was. In a data slot titled "Experiment Variation Type," it stated that, for this clone, the Jenova cells had been substituted for those of himself. As he continued to study the file, he didn't notice that the tube had begun its animation process. As the fluid that held the clone in stasis drained, the tube began to heat up, glowing brightly to wake her up.
