If we want a camp site with electrical hook up, we can reserve one. As long as we do this in advance, we can pick whatever type of site we think is necessary.
It'll be at the end of July, yes? So no, it will not be cold/windy at night. At all. Unless it rains, which is unlikely.
And like I said, my house will be just a block away from the state park.
Or across the river, depending on which state line we decide to camp on.
(I live right on the border of WI and MN, which is the St.Croix river. And the state park is called interstate park because it's in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.)
