Katherine slowly came to a stop and blinked up at his hairline, "Danny.....?" She watched the ears slightly and just looked at them, "You're, uh... growing things." She put her hands up on her feathered head as if to mimic ears standing up straight.

He blinked and felt the top of his head then the sides of his head where his ears should have been. "New ears."

Katherine nodded, watching them, "They just showed up? You didn't notice them before?" She couldn't take her eyes off of them for some reason.
