"I'll just grab all your crap and shove it in the trunk," Pietro said, not too terribly concerned. It wasn't like she had any decent clothes, she always wore that same stupid out of style coat. He pondered taking her to a few Manhattan shops to get her something with a bit more class, something more becomming of a Maximoff.
"And you won't be killing anyone until you can use your powers without boundaries, so I suggest you get to concentrating and get off the damn fireworks."

"AAARGH!!!"
Wanda started to kick the driver's seat -since she couldn't hurt him directly- but it was no use. They were already at the hotel and he was already inside.
She felt just like she was back at the asylum and it was driving her crazy. Panic started to be the controlling emotion and she tried to get out of the car but Pietro locked all the doors. Out of options she started to kick the window.

Pietro returned, having shoved everything she owned into the car, including a moldy old book that must've been some kind of goth thing. He was lucky he was quick too, he returned just in time to catch her ankle before she broke out the window.
"Now now sis, we can't have..." was as far as he got before he noticed the fear in her eyes, and suddenly he realized that his method of "training" would have an all-too-personal effect upon her. He sighed, and in an instant the bindings were gone.
"Sorry... I forgot I... I just don't want you to get killed sis..."

Wanda grabbed the book and got out of the car the second her hands were free then looked at Pietro. She was very tempted by just killing him on the spot or just run away, leaving him there and go after her father alone.
However she felt that he didn't want to hurt her in anyway...unlike her. She held her head and sank to her knees. What is this? Someone is messing up with my head again? She had a small glimpse of his thoughts. Just enough to know that he truly wanted to help her out.
She sighed and slowly got up. She didn't care about the crowd forming around them. She just glared at her brother with her you-will-die-soon look and said "Next time you want to make a point, do it another way."
She sat back on the front seat as calm as she could be.

Pietro nodded, smiling sheepishly at the crowd before speeding away, nearly running down an elderly couple in the process. "Duly noted..." he said, and they rode along for several moments in silence.
"So um... wanna hit up Starbucks before we leave town?"

Carson rubbed at his temples in annoyance, his room lit up by the glow of his monitor. Between Xavier's teaching plans and college he was becoming more than a little eccentric and cooped up. His nights and days had flipped and as he looked over at the clock in his dungeon he couldn't tell if it read three am or pm. It didn't matter, he was tired as hell and there didn't seem to be any sleep in the foreseeable future.
Carson's body slackened, sliding slowly along the computer chair until his nose rested on the keyboard tray. He stayed there, his breathing slowing down. He came to a gentle rest, body slack and inert in front of the term paper which still had a few more hours to go.
Carson woke up a few hours later to the sound of his alarm clock, he had a class to teach here at Xavier's. Genetics was a big theme, especially around mutants and here he was teaching his peers how to predict whether their children will be a mutant and what sort of powers they can inherit.
When he'd first started it had been daunting, but now he was fairly confident, he was just so damn tired that it was hard to think some days. He'd be running on autopilot today, and he was positive the students wouldn't mind if they all got out early.
Without realizing where he'd fallen asleep at, Carson lathargically rolled out of the PC chair and onto the floor where he hastily crept towards some garments and a pair of shoes. Within a few minutes he was slowly pacing down the halls of the Xavier institute.

OOC: I'm here, but I guess that doesn't mean much. I'm just waiting for something more to happen, seeing as I already got ready to go camping. . . But at least some of the people are getting used to school starting again. That is, anyone who still goes to school, but I don't know how many people that is.

And oddly enough, all the alcohol has, so far, been provided by my loving parents ^_^

((Well, I was an every day poster for a while but i guess i just lost it after the old guild was dubbed as no more....the heart went away in my RP and i sort of slowly forgot about it....i am trying to get in it again....but tonight, i can't post for i am realy tired from looking for Magic the Gathering cards all day...man i love them....to bad no one where i live knowsnothing about them. Just my little secret collection i guess. sweatdrop ))

It felt odd to her to be taken care of by her brother. She couldn't tell if she liked it or not... Pietro parked the car in front of the Starbucks and asked her to come with him. She got out of the car with her gothic like book that she kept like a holy relic and walked in the shop. Why do I have the feeling this was a bad idea? she asked herself.

((OOC: i'm not waiting for anything. hey everyone, in Chicago and should be back home by Tusday, maybe...not really sure >< can't stay on that long, using my Oma & Opa's computer. *yawn* a little sick and very tired. nice to see everyone might go camping. might have Ruka come along, it would be very funny if she got left behind cuz she's asleep....but then she might start going through things and yea, maybe not ><. ok later you bums, gonna go watch movies now biggrin ))
