"Well... we play tagged once, but Celebor cracked his head while we were playing so we don't do that. Well... I don't with Celebor, but I have with Idhril. I play with Idhril a lot, we build houses out of sticks enough for a little village, and play dolls and gather stuff and flowers. Sometmes I play with Miyu, but not with Wataru, he just likes looking at books, and Malfice is.... he's a bit bity. He doesn't like to play as much."

She tried to think of who else.

"I haven't really played Storm and Starr a lot."

"So he's leaving in the morning," Ryu murmured, "He's going to give us a run down before he leaves then."

He knew it would be soon, but that was quite soon now that he thought about it. Lin probably knew more about that than he did, since Lin was with Donovan.

"Aww.. okay then," Feng nodded at that, she understood how that worked, "So I guess we better get to it! Uhm... you don't mind we Ryu and I revert back, we've kind of been on our feet most of the day."

"Revert?" Halmir blinked.

"They're going to have to sit," Aliya replied, deeming it simpler for him to see rather than be told. "And if you want me to be really still, I probably should, too, or I'm going to be awfully fidgety."

"Right," Halmir nodded, still slightly confused. "This way then ..."

He motioned towards a tree that was standing alone, away from the others. "Come sit here," he requested with a smile, "all of you."



Elberon brought her into the ranch house and looked around for someone. "What sort of lessons do you have?" he asked her, peeking into the dining room.

"Well... Mommy helps me with numbers and adding, and writing, and she's helping me with my Japanese... and Daddy helps me with my katas and my Chinese, and I go to Sir Valdemdar to learn Elvish, it's up in the desert in the South," she explained.

She grinned it was learning a lot.

"There's a lot to do."

Feng leaned forward and waved a hand in front of Halmir's face. She didn't think it would be that shocking, but then again she was pretty desensized towards oddities. Like herself for example, even though she would never consider herself an oddity.

"Are you going to be okay?"

"We're mers who get around on two legs what do you think Feng?" Ryu raised abrow as if the question had an obvious answer.

Halmir blinked out of his stupor and took a step backwards. "I am quite all right," he murmured to Feng, "just surprised ... is all."

He cleared his throat and gazed peacefully at the three teens, his mind whirling as he tried to picture how he wanted them to sit for his sketch.

"Feng ... turn a bit towards me, please," he requested, using his hands to show her more clearly how he wanted her to sit. "And put your ... tail ... to the side ... this way ... Ryu, if you could turn the opposite way, shoulder to shoulder with your sister ... tilt your head forward a bit, chin down, eyes forward ... perhaps cross your arms ... and Aliya, my dear, if you could just rest on their shoulders with your own elbows ... like so ... put your head down a bit, between theirs ..."



Elberon was impressed, and, he had to admit, somewhat amused by her reason for learning elvish. "Well, you have to admit that it is a bit rude for people to speak in a language that a guest cannot understand," he pointed out, heading now towards the play room to see if anyone was in there.

"Well........." Lin drawled out, "This particular person doesn't know this language at all, so he could be forgiven for speaking in only in Elvish."

She nodded certainity, she was sure that if he could speak English, then he would speak English. Well.. she wasn't so certain, but she was willing to believe so.
