Neko really wasn't sure what to say to Riyo but now really wasn't the time to think about it. They were in the middle of a battle ground almost. The hallway was much smaller than it needed to be and with so many people and all the loud noises they echoed through Neko's head as his hangover still gripped him at full force.
Refusing to let go of Riyo's Neko nearly ducked to the side as the ravens came in through the window. It was like an erruption of black feathers had overtaken the Inn. Not paying to much attention to what Riyo was saying he tried to pull her along back down the hallway. They needed to get out of here. Hopefully there was another way. No doubt the first floor would be crowded soon with guards.
"Alright," Neko nodded to Blade. "Help Riyo while I go after Poke."
Leaving Riyo with Blade for the moment, hoping for the best, Neko back tracked to go get Poke. "Come on, we're out of here!" He yelled from behind her.

Riyo wasn't about to stick around this place. Just like she'd made a beeline for the stairs earlier, she ran as fast as she could to the door after Blade helped her up. That smell. The overwhelming aroma of blood. It was sickening.
As she emerged outside, she gasped for fresh air and leaned up against the building. She quite basically bashed her head up against the side of the inn. That was her mess. She'd caused that mans end. There was no other explanation for it. "Murderer." She spat at herself.
Atticus was right behind Blade as they attempted to make their way out of this place that had earned itself the title of 'Hell'. "Now perhaps you see what I mean." He said quietly to Blade, dusting his tophat off and placing it on his head.

Yuki was actually startled when Mitsu flung the door open, and he took a quick step backward to get out of her way. Riyo had nearly floored him a minute prior, he wasn't taking chances this time around. However, when she stood in place, looking at him fearfully, he quickly realized that this was not a concern. He shook his head gently, trying to offer her a reassuring smile. "I didn't plan on it, but we do need to find our way out of here."
When Yuki had been pulled into Neko's room, Hitsu had tried to follow only to have the door practically slammed in her face. Rather than following everyone else downstairs, which soon erupted in utter chaos from the sound of it. She stood pressed to the door, at first only whimpering. Though, with the increased volume of violence and finally the mass of ravens that burst through the nearby open window, this soon turned into crying and distressed screams.
Then, the door flew open. Yuki cast a worried glance at her, before swiftly pulling her in. "I thought you followed Neko!" Though, from the sound of the brawl downstairs, he couldn't help but wonder if the others were still in the building themselves.
"N-no!" She replied, shaking. "I wasn't going to leave without you and Mitsu..."
He would have scolded her any other time, most likely, but this time he'd let it slide. "Well, we've got to find a way outside, and I've got the feeling the stairs are out." Yuki looked to Mitsu, "How well can you land on your feet?" He certainly got right to the point.

Once Riyo had gotten up and rushed out the building, Blade took a moment to stare at the gore on the ground. As he did, he heard Atticus's voice from somewhere behind. As he recalled the way Riyo had cut down this man, he knew this was definitely not something to brush off so easily.
But right now, he needed to get out and away from this town. And the others there needed to do the same. So quickly, he made his way through the mass of crows and stepped outside.
"Are you all alright?" he asked them all. The thief felt a bit guilty about all of this since the guards were originally after him, and now all these people were dragged into it.
"More may come soon... but if we're lucky, they won't. Luck hasn't really been something that's been around lately."

Unsteady on her feet Mitsu followed Yuki to the door. Her mind was only in one place, gotta find Hitsu. Hearing muffled screams and whines on the other side of the door Mitsu's eyes opened wide in worry but as soon as Yuki opened the door and she saw Hitsu was alright she gave a uneasy sigh.
"Hitsu," She looked like all she wanted to do was run to Hitsu and receive the comfort she was so good at giving. In fact, Mitsu started to step forward, tears starting to p***k the corners of her eyes before Yuki had asked her a question.
She looked at him for a moment not registering his question. How well can you land on your feet? That question kept floating along in her feverish mind trying to make sense of it. Then it hit her. He wanted them to jump. A little shakily she stepped away from him and simple said. "The tree..." That's all she seemed to remember as she shook her head clasping her hands in front of herself nervously.

Just as soon as Mitsu could protest, Yuki was over opening the window. "Not much choice. I can carry you, if you're afraid." He turned and offered a hand to her. Honestly, he'd probably just pick her up anyway even if she refused, but at least this way it had the potential to be less traumatic in the end. "It's better than finding out what all the noise downstairs is about..."
"It'll be alright, Mitsu." Hitsu tried to reassure, stepping over toward Yuki to look out the window. "It's not as far down, we'll make it safely." She'd calmed considerably after being let in, apparently having a closed door between them and the chaos in the lobby helped immensely.

Mitsu looked a little frazzled to say the least. Between being scared and sick she didn't know how much more of this she could take but slowly she nodded her head at Yuki and took his hand. Now wasn't the time to be afraid, they needed to get out of here.
As she took his hand he could probably feel her shaking but she did little to try and stop it. "How...is Hitsu getting down?"

She had accepted his hand, and Yuki tugged Mitsu toward him so that she could follow him out. "Just close your eyes and it'll be over before you know it."
"I can jump, too." Hitsu had said in response to Mitsu's question, "Don't worry about me."
Thankfully, this inn had decent sized windows. It was still a bit of a squeeze for Yuki to fit through, but once he did he balanced himself carefully on the roof that extended from the lower level, reaching to help Mitsu out and lift her carefully. This took several seconds, but just as soon as he held the wolf girl he let his feet slide to the edge of the roof and jumped down as though it was as simple as skipping a couple of stairs. He landed easily on his feet, and set Mitsu on her own feet thereafter. "Not as bad as you thought, was it?"
Hitsu didn't have quite as graceful a time, and nearly fell over the side instead of jumping like she was supposed to. Luckily, she managed to catch her footing right in the nick of time and jumped down as well.

During the whole process Mitsu kept her eyes held tightly shut trying to imagine she was somewhere else. Heights were not her thing and just the very thought of jumping out the window was making her sick all over again. Luckily, Yuki was very careful with her and the trip down took little time though she still held onto his shirt for dear life. When he placed her on her feet it took her a few moments to let go before she staggered off to the side and was sick all over again.
Unable to really stand much more Mitsu sat back on her haunches wiping at her mouth to rid it of the taste of sick. "I want to go back to bed," She whined. She sounded pretty pathetic at this point as she hunched over where she sat.

not really paying attention to her surroundings, poke sprinted out the door and into the fresh air and sunshine! However, this was a very, very bad call as she had not realised that at the exact moment she exited the inn, hitsu had jumped (or fell) from the window.
Poke looked to see yuki had somehow got outside, and made the ocnnection at the last second. She looked up, and her mouth made what appeared to be a mix of a bark and a squeak, before she was knocked to the ground.
"aahhh...my baacckkk..." she cried out to no one in particular

It wasn't long after he had stepped out that the others appeared outside as well. The one named Poke came running out from behind... only to be knocked down by some people that had decided to jump out of the window above. Blinking at this, he glanced up at the window to see if any more were coming, and saw Neko up there.
"Er... you ok?" he asked Poke, before glancing over at Riyo to keep tabs on her as well.
Blade held a hand out to Poke in case she needed some help up. After all, they had helped him some, so he really should do the same in return.
"Sorry you guys had to get caught up in that..."

Following behind Poke, Neko exited the Inn right behind her but came to a screeching halt when she was flattened by Hitsu exiting out of the window. He started to wonder if this was going to become a reoccurring theme with this group. "Uhh...are you okay?"
(I have no idea where Neko is so...this works he's outside now >.>)

As Blade looked over at Riyo, she looked right back at him, then at Atticus. Why was... Why was he coming closer?!
Atticus stopped right in front of her and stared. Long and hard into those red eyes. They weren't the eyes of a killer, that was for sure. But... Cats were sly creatures. They could lie if they needed to cover their asses. "Hm."
Riyo didn't move. She froze where she was and stared right back at him. She tried to hide her fear this time. Because she knew there was nowhere for her to run.
"I know what you are. You'll never be able to hide it from me." He said to her softly, not wanting her friends to get involved in the conversation. His face closed up on hers as he moved his mouth to her ear. "If and when you show your true colors... I'll be there to put an end to this curse, once and for all." It was a quiet whisper, but frightening nonetheless. That was when he backed up and began walking away.

[Yes. Everyone being outside is the most detail that we can manage at this point, I think. =/ Stuff making sense came to a screeching halt several posts before this point. Let's get some form of normalcy back, guys. When you're going to pull stuff like this, unexpected to the characters is fine... Unexpected to the players (or at least the moderators) is not. At least not when we're ALL going to get pulled into it. Be considerate of the other players, please.]
[No awkward apologies or explanations, don't bother. Just don't drag everyone into something again without their consent. At least if we were out in the middle of nowhere the characters not wanting to be involved could more easily see themselves away from the situation. By all means, you can see yourself out of any or all of the dangerous situations I set up in the future, because you'd better believe I'll leave you the opportunity. I can assure you that the same will go for Mitsu and Skye's characters, but I cannot speak for the rest.]
[Yeah. In a nutshell. You don't have to ruin the surprise of your plot twists by giving them away. Go ahead and play them out. Just make sure that others can avoid the result if their characters don't want to or cannot deal with it. A "hey, s**t about to go down, you might want to move" would suffice.]
[Look. I made a long post. Too bad most of it wasn't RP. Lulz. Whatever. Carry on.]
Well, it had been clear when Hitsu had jumped, but that quickly changed while she was already in the air. She barely had the time to give out a startled yelp before she crash landed on top of Poke. Immediately she'd removed herself so that Poke could get up, but sat on the ground a moment herself in confusion. "What happened?" She murmured, looking around dizzily at everyone.
As Blade helped Poke, Yuki helped Hitsu to her feet. He wasn't so calm about the whole ordeal, however. He quickly gave Hitsu a rough inspection, like a distressed parent making sure nothing was broken or damaged. Satisfied that she was fine, if satisfied was an appropriate word to use right now, he ushered her over toward Hitsu while he approached Blade with a venomous stare.
He tried to apologize, and Yuki swiftly raised his hand in an attempt to cut him off. "No. Don't bother. Look, I'm not going to pretend I know what your deal is or who you are. Frankly, I don't give a rat's a**. What I do care about is the well being of my friends and my sister." He pointed an accusing finger at the thief, "If you put any of them in danger again, I'll take you to the authorities myself, intact or otherwise."
Then, he looked up to Poke and Neko. "And you. Try not to make it a habit to run blindly into something that's none of your business." His glare lingered on Neko, but that was for reasons only the two of them would know. "For the love of God, guys, I thought it was stressful enough to think we've got a madman following us to do God-knows-what if he just doesn't want us dead..." If Poke had no idea why he always stressed they needed to keep moving, he could only assume that she would now. "I don't like the idea of being arrested along the way. It really puts a damper on my mood."
Once he'd backed off, he looked toward the door, noting the lack of one in their party. "Where the hell is Riyo? We're getting out of here. Now." Without awaiting an answer, he stepped over to Mitsu and Hitsu. Hitsu was trying to console the girl, who had gotten sick yet again. While his words weren't quite as harshly toned, it was still clear that he was angry. "I'm sorry, Mitsu, but we have to keep moving."

"Put them in danger?"
Blade turned towards the guy that had just addressed him. As he spoke to him, he stared right back into his eyes. This man surely seemed to be pretty protective of the others, which wasn't too bad over all. But the thief didn't exactly like the way he had to put all of it. Remaining calm, he shook his head lightly and replied.
"When those guards originally came, they were only after me. I didn't ask anyone to help me... but I received it anyway. I even tried to tell Riyo to avoid going to the first floor for now. Over all, it was because of me that you all were pulled into this, but it wasn't my choice in doing so," he said softly, "As for Riyo, she's right here...?"
As he said that, he looked back over to Riyo, who seemed to be locked in place. Atticus was gone now too, so he wasn't sure if her current state was linked to the doctor at all.
But speaking of needing to move on, he needed to get going himself. Where he would go from there, he wasn't too sure yet but hopefully it wasn't too far off. With all that had gone on here, he didn't really have time to buy or steal any supplies for travel. So while the group began to move, he remained in place for the time being. If he couldn't figure out something soon, he was just going to have to try and tough it out on the road.
