Raven readjusted Alyss on her hip and looked about, the last time she was here was when she was pregnant with the twins.
"This place is beautiful." She whispered out loud and smiled as she saw a head poke out the window.
Alyss saw her too and reached up with a small hand.
"You can wait till later to meet her." Raven said quietly and pushed her daughters hand down.

Kiara stayed near Raven, watching over the children and shyly keeping herself with those she knew more familiarly. She looked around the place, noting to herself as to how nice it was there, and also memorizing it for emergency purposes. Sighing gently, she smiled at Alyss, then took her attention to the girl that had stuck her head out of the window. I'll have to meet her here before too long, I suppose..

"Won't be long now, I'll be Ryu's wife... Kitsuna, do you have any idea how the ceremony's gonna go? I'm sure Ryu has been to a few weddings but I've only been to one and it was a coven leader's wedding and I'm sure it's different." She stroked Kari's head softly while she spoke to calm her nerves.

((Nice a pagan touch. Usually there is a broom they step over at the end to signify the cleaning of the path and a new start. It's AKA hand fasting hence the ribbon and the saying tying the knot.))

Raven followed the servant and frowned slightly.
"I hope Ryu treats these people properly" She thought to herself and puts Alyss down and hold her hand as she takes a few unsteady steps.
Taking a small cup of juice she offers it to Varro and raises an eyebrow at Kumouri to make sure he didn't spill it before helping ALyss with hers.
"I'm curious to know what religions ceremony they will be using?" She directs this question at Kumouri and smiles.

((kind of a mix of rituals, the pagan part you explained, the vows from common christian weddings, the drinking from the cup is actually, if i recall right, from Asian ceremonies.))

Kumouri shrugs and says "not sure, various culture had flooded into this valley years ago and so a kind of mix of rituals is performed." The servent looks to Kumouri and says "lord Kumouri, my lord told me to bring you to him upon your arrival." Kumouri nods and says "very well." he sets Varro down, and he start waddling about. Kumouri looks to Raven and Kiara and says "I'll see you in a bit, better see what Ryu wants." he gives a kiss to raven and then departs with the servent.

Kitsuna smiles and says "don't worry mistress you will do fine, I'm sure of it." Kitsuna then sets the brush aside and asks "do you want me to do you hair up in any particular style?"

The tailor had finished with Aideen's dress and smiled 'you look lovely my dear, and with a couple hours left till the wedding. Why not join the others in the dinning hall before the ceremony starts.

Kiara kept a watchful eye over Varro, making sure that he didn't fall or wander off too far. She also began to boredly experiment with changing her appearance, sometimes having fur, other times feathers. She kept her human body, but her skin would change, and occationally would have ears, a tail, or wings.

Kitsuna went down and passed by the dinning room. when she saw the kids she gave a little squeal and walked into the room and to the group "Awww they're so adorable, whose are they?" She asked looking between kiara and Raven.

Kumouri was soon lead to Ryu whom was being fitted for his formal robes. Kumouri nods and dismisses the servent and looks to Ryu "you wished to speak with me Ryu?" Ryu smiles and says "yes, actually quite simply i wish for you to be my best man. During the ceremony you'll bind mine and Lyoko's hands with a gold ribbon once she and i clasp hands." Kumouri smiles some and nods "I'd be glad to."

Kitsuna beamed at the kids but responded to the question without hessitation. "I'm mistress Lyoko's maid, Kitsuna."

Lyoko and Kair had fallen asleep on the bed and were oblivious to time as it slowly passed.
