C. Fox I don't get the headphones. *Shrug* Enki's always had headphones ever since I created him. It's just his thing. Kinda like Asakura Yoh from Shaman King. The kid ALWAYS had headphones on.

Don't most people have something like that on their Avatar? like some special item that they're always wearing and the other parts of the outfit are just built around that item? I know for me its these fab goggles although they're kind of covered by my little octopus friend right now. I see it as kind of being a trademark thing for a character.

I know.
I understand some sunglasses, but headphones are as useless. Not that it's a bad thing.
I don't even like wearing headphones, IRL and s**t.

It's like wearing goggles even though you aren't flying a plane, handling hazardous chemicals, or really even moving it down over your eyes...ever.
I'm sure a few of us know how that is. >>

In high school and little beyond high school, around the time I created Enki, I ALWAYS had big, DJ headphones on. If they weren't on my ears, they were behind my ears or around my neck. Always. Even in classes. As long as they weren't on, my teachers didn't care.
That love of constantly having music and knowing that the headphones blocked out everything but that soothing music... it kinda merged into Enki at the same time. Hence, just as I once did (And will again once I can get a pair and an iPod), Enki always has headphones on.
That probably explains why I like the character Asakura Yoh so much. He always has headphones on, even in battles, and listens to his music whenever he can.

Sometimes, I would wear my tie as a headband after school.
