Kyurem and Alice rushed out of the passageway, emerging back into the room with the two statues. Seeing them gave Kyurem an idea. "go on. I have an idea" he told her. He hopped off of the the stairway and landed between the statues. As quickly as he could he began turning the statues' hands back right side up. He looked up and saw the fire making it way down the hallway towards them as if it were a living thing, inspiring the zombie to move faster. He got them turned and there was a loud click as the black metal door once again slid down and sealed shut, just in time to stop the torrent of fire from filling the room. "come on I think that bought us some time" he called out to Alice before heading off again. Soon they would find themselves running down the ordinary halls of Vanmer, since the place was revealed to be a king's palace or something similiar it sort of made sense why all the rooms seemed like normal rooms, they were probably filled with all sorts of luxuries and trifles in the past, though Kyurem didn't really have time to think about that given the current situation.
As Shadow attacked the Guardian his claw moved right through him. The Guardian being a being of pure magic energy didn't have a "physical" form to attack, attacking him was the equivalent of sticking one's hand in a fire place, dangerous to the instigator not the target. Once again the Guardian didn't seem to particularly care about Shadow, as he was not the one who destroyed the spire, nor was he even part of the other two's group. The Guardian watched as they resealed the chamber preventing the fire from reaching them, and quickly the figure faded away.
As Kyurem and Alice reached the main hall with the giant gold elf statue, probably some king or something of the sort, Kyurem didn't bother to gawk and continued to the exit when suddenly the empty torch the giant statue carried burst into flames, and out from it the Guardian flew. "well crap...Alice" he told her, stopping and turning to face the Guardian. "get out of here and report to the masked man that we destroyed the spire" he told her, wind wrapping around his blades. "Fujin: WINDSCAR!" he shouted slashing a razor sharp gust of wind at the guardian. But as with Shadow the movement did nothing but pass through him. It seemed the elves had put a good deal of effort into this particular construct. inner tomb

Angel continued towards the basement area and opened the small doors that lead to it's outsides. Having no one stuck in their at the moment it was easy to open the doors having it no seal. When he saw that it was no light he smiled. Now this may be a problem... he said as his hand rose up in the air and a light sparked and emitted from it. Or not, he concluded as he begun walking down the steps leading the three of them. The light had caused a bit of sight throughout the huge basement. Woah... I've never imagined it this big......

But-... he stopped and lowered his hand which was indicated to show a point. Yes... yes ma'am. I will start immediately. He said this with a bit of a more serious, and stern attitude. I will take her out... she is a threat and we must stop her. He turned away from Mimi and Persephone and walked to his room.
That was easier than expected... Mimi said emotionlessly looking at Persephone while kicking her legs. OCC:

--- Alice kept on running and watched as Kyurem shut the metal door. She panted a bit as she was not used to all this running. Following behind Kyurem just a few moments after he left she ran as fast as she could. There was no time for admiring her surroundings anymore. She began getting tired and began using her flash step to get by. Once they were finally in the main hall she looked back to see the Guardian coming from the statue's torch and pulled out her sword. She looked over at Kyruem who called out to her and looked back and forth between the two. She sheathe her sword and ran out of the ancient ruins and outside. She began to use her flash step once more until she was finally far away from the ruins. She stopped herself by a nearby tree. The pond where she came out before. "How the hell am I suppose to tell him if I don't even know where he is.." she muttered a bit angered. Trying to keep pace herself with breathing.

Now I walk tall and with a feeling of pride Into this life of mine It's just an average day, like every other day.
Persephone XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXPersephone sighed and nodded his head. But it wasn't so easy for him either. She turned to Mimi. " Mimi, from this point on I would like you to be my right hand. You were so close to father. Even more so than his own children." she said going to her window. " Will you accept my offer?" she asked. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
No more doubt, no more regret No more things to make me forget That I am destined for more, and it's all in my hands

Mary, Mimi, Yale' "My name is Mimi...." Mimi was a bit shocked at the fact she asked for a huge offer. She nodded her head and begun speaking out. I need to get stronger... so I'll ask your sister Lazuli for some... help on something. Thank you and I will get stronger to help aid you... I have to grow up. For the first time besides from Tryton, she smiled at Persephone and walked out the room. "...Now stop talking."

Musubi followed Angel down in to the basement. Once the light flickered on she saw that it was pretty much empty except for the few boxes that were laying around. She even saw a bed. "You weren't kidding when you said someone was locked down here." she said as she began looking around the boxes. When nothing on the outside was found she began going through the boxes. When something black, but shiny caught her eyes. She took it out and it was a music box. When she opened it it played a playful lullaby.

Kyurem cursed under his lips as his attack did nothing to the construct. Out of desperation he began rapid firing wind blasts at it, anything he could think of. But all were equally ineffective. Seeing the Guardian descened upon him Kyurem closed his eyes and waited for the worse.
As Alice escaped from the ruins she would see a huge pillar of fire erupt out from it. However nothing emerged out from the ruins beside the flame, no Guardian, no Kyurem, nothing. However she herself was not yet in the clear. There was rustling in the trees all around her as Rogin (what Mr.Birch is from MCA) began coming out of the trees and began stalking towards her. The fire from the ruins was the proverbial shaking of the hornets nest, and they seemed to believe Alice was responsible, which when you thought about it was actually correct. They started making their way up to her when suddenly time froze and Alice found herself not in the forest, but standing in some sort of black space, with Kyurem standing beside her still flinching from what he assumed would be the Gaurdian's attack. "huh?" he muttered, looking around when he realized he wasn't in the ruins anymore. "Alice?...where are we?" he asked. "to answer your question Alice. You needn't worry about finding me. I am fully capable of coming to you" The masked man told her, appearing before them. "bravo by the way, that was excellently done. You saved alot of lives today, and in doing so I do believe you have earned a reward" he said taking off his mask and revealing his true face, which would be new to atleast Kyurem. "as you know I'm not exactly big on straight answers, so I figured the best reward I could give you two is the truth. Ask whatever you want and I will answer you truthfully. I'd take advantage of this because your probably won't get this opportunity again...so ask away" he said with a smile.

--- As Alice looked back she could see the pillar of flames. Finally being able to control her breath she looked around to see the creatures in the wood becoming restless. She watched as they grew closer and closer and as soon as she grabbed on to her sword everything was pitch black. She was confused at first until she saw Kyurem beside her. Then the mysterious figure. She listened as he said he would answer anything they wanted. Anything? She could ask anything. She looked at the man. "Who are you? What are you?.." she asked.

They Mysterious Figure smiled and actually looked giddy at her question. "oh boy I've been waiting to get to answer that question? you'd be surprised how few people actually bother asking really. I'd be offended if I wasn't just so damn nice" he said, starting to go off track again. "oh yes sorry where was I? I'm not surprised that neither of you know me, after all you guys aren't really "under my domain" if you get what I'm saying. My name is Ashura, Demon God of Madness" he said doing a gentlemanly bow. Kyurem was a bit enticed by the masked man's offer. However Alice spoke up before he could ask, stealing the question right out of his mouth. When the man went on and on avoiding the subject Kyurem rolled his eyes figuring he actually wouldn't answer them at all. However his eyes went wide he finally did reveal his identity. "wait....demon...god?" he asked, wondering if that was some sort of joke or exaggeration. "did I stutter?....wait....did I? hmmm perhaps I did and forgot about it. Allright then yes whether I said so or not I meant demon god. That's a god who's worshiped primarily by demons if weren't able to figure that out yourself. And I happen to be the patron over all that is insane, crazy, or otherwise off in the head." he said in response. "what? never seen a god before? or secretly worked for one for several weeks without realizing it? hmmm...tis a bland world we live in now a days"

--- Alice never averted her eyes away from him. When he finally spoke of his true identity she looked down and looked back up. "I know that name. Alexandria told me stories when I was still living under her care in Japan." she said as she looked up at him. "Who ever thought I would meet the real deal." she said chuckling to herself. She looked over to Kyurem to only see him shock. Of course she was shock to but underneath her skin she felt some sort of excitement. "So ... Mister demon god. Just what are you up too...it seems you have something rather interesting up your sleeves." she said crossing her arms and looking at him.

Ashura smiled proudly at Alice. "ah you've heard stories of me then? well I hope they were flattering ones at least" he said laughing a bit, impressed at how well the girl was taking it, especially compared to Kyurem. He looked around at their surronding void and seemed a bit confused. "now why the hell did I bring you guys here? oh yeah thats right, you both were about to be horribly killed, details slip my mind sometimes" he said snapping his fingers, bringing them to what looked like the principal's office of a school, a pretty old and large one at that. He sat down and snapped his fingers, conjuring chairs behind Alice and Kyurem. "please sit sit" he told them, putting his own feet up on the desk. "hmmmm what I'm up to. You make it sound so wicked really. Its not that I'm really trying to START something, so much as I'm trying to STOP it. The reason I sent you guys down there to destroy the spire was pretty simple. You see the thing is I may be a demon god, but my real interest is in humans. Observing them, messing with them, driving them irreversibly insane. So when there's something that may threaten those humans I tend to get a bit interested. Its like a devoted fan making sure his favorite T.V. show doesn't get canceled you know?" he told them, hoping they'd start to piece everything together themselves.

--- Alice nodded as the whole room turned in a principal's office. Seeing a chair pop up she thought she might as well sit down. Giving a sigh she listened to him once more. "I see what you're saying. In a way." she said as she placed her finger on the tip of her lip and looking around. She looked over to Kyurem. "What do you think of this? You're pretty quiet.." she said.

Kyurem was speechless for the longest time. He really did seem out of it, reluctant even to take the chair when offered. Clearly the god thing either hadn't fully sunk in, or it was sinking in in a bad way. When Alice looked over at him and asked what he thought of it Kyurem seemed to snap out of it a little. "I'm quiet? We just found out we've been working for a god this whole time and I'm quiet? I'm reacting perfectly rationally, your the one who's taking everything so unnaturally well. I mean do you realize how crazy this is? how crazy HE is? all those times he just randomly spit nonesense, it wasn't just to mess with us, he's legitimately crazy!" "hey I tak offense to that" Ashura cut in. "yeah I'm sure you do. How are we supposed to be able to trust you? your domain is insanity, how do we know that just by being around you we aren't slowly going insane?" he asked.Ashura sighed and sat back in his chair. He looked at Kyurem and Alice, with a much more serious air about him than before. "look, the reason you should trust me and that you should work with me is because if you don't...billions...not thousands, not millions...Billions of people are going to die, and not just humans. I didn't lie when I said I fight for a good cause, and you'll learn there is a method to my madness as there allways is. Just today you've stopped the elve's planned arrival by years. You've given me time to start preparing properly. And for that I thank you, but they haven't been stopped, they will find a way here Spire or not, and when they do.....there will be war the likes of which this planet has never seen before. Until then all we can do is prepare, and try to collectively ready ourselves. The school...Tryton....this new rouge god....all of these are problems that pale in comparison to what is coming, but they are things that never the less cannot be ignored because they will slow us down and leave us unprepared for the worst of it. We have time now, and we shall use it. But I need to know that I can count on you two, because your help in time to come has the potential to turn the tides before the waves even start to swell." he told them.

--- Alice stayed silent as Kyurem went on and on how she was the one acting like nothing happened. Alice wasn't much of the type to be surprised but intrigued. "I'm acting fine." she said looking away from him and crossing her arms along with her leg. She looked up to Ashura as he explained the reasons why they should trust him. She wasn't all into saving mankind or anything. It felt odd hindering plans to save others. Alice looked away at the ground in silence as she began to think. Did she really want to do this. A few more moments of silence and Alice nodded her head..."Alright. I'll join you. It isn't like I can go back anywhere." she said looking at Ashura. Alice no longer had a home. She had no where to go, but she didn't want to wander where she should go and thinking about what she wants to do.
