I aced the class,
Became buds with the teacher,
Scared her once she found out about my heritage,
And got her recommendations for debate and creative writing for next year.
Our school throws a gala every year,
And this year the drama class was put in charge of the script,
So I wrote and helped to direct a lot of the stuff.
And even tell off a teacher,
And get out of the last 20 minutes of math class every Thursday and Tuesday.
Not bad for a thirteen year old,
Eh?"
Tea smiled smugly,
Cuddling beside Raspberry.
"Well...
I actually have family ties with two mafias.
So one day she was telling us about her trip to Russia,
And the little Soviet Mind games,
And the subject of mafias came up.
Zak took that moment to turn to me and pronounce,
Quite loudly,
That they knew too much and needed to be whacked.
Needless to say everyone was pretty confused,
But Miss Bauer was most of all.
Usually she'd just ignore the things he says,
But she gaged my reaction and asked for clarification.
Then I told he that I descended from the Italian and Russian mafias,
She looked scared,
And said she wasn't sure how to react to that.
Zak's never let the mafia stuff go since then."
Tea yawned.
"..." Kero blinked rapidly, trying to clear his head. "Tea-chan, you talk fast. Anywho, that is pretty impressive. What'd you tell a teacher off for? and why... do you skip math?" His lower lip pouted in jealousy, but it looked more like a sad puppy.
She gave him a hug,
Trying to make him stop pouting.
"Miss Bauer,
Who is also the drama teacher,
Wanted me to play a special role in the gala,
But rehearsals were at 5th period which was my math period.
She talked to Ms. Simms and made it so that I would leave for the last 20 minutes of class.
And I told Chris off because he was making up horrible stories about my entire class.
He's the kind of guy who decides that he's always right,
So he can take a small suggestion like,
'Can you please make a dance that conforms more to the time period?',
Into:
'You're all incompetent and the dance is being cut.'
Ironically,
This is exactly what happened,
And I told him off for it.
I get along with teachers well,
But Chris is the only one who I can't stand and he knows it."
"Wow, you're lucky there! heheh... good for you with that Chris guy, though!"
