He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, putting the thought in the back of his mind for the time being.
She looked back, staring at Cross on the seat across from her.
"You know German too...?"
She smiled happily.
"I remember coming here when I was little. Mama would always take us to that bakery shop."
Turning towards the window, she pointed it out to him.
He smiled and trained his eyes where she was indicating and saw the bakery. There was a short line that traveled out onto the cobblestones of the street; it must have been a popular place. He puffed gently on his cigarette, checking a pocket-watch: twenty past twelve. Lunch time. Just as he thought the words, the carriage came to a slow halt.
"Here we are," He got up and exited the cab and held the door open for Evelyn. Behind him there stood a towering hotel, elegantly designed with gothic architecture.
Evelyen stepped out hesitantly, ans slowly, taking in the view. She remembered this building from when she was little, but never dreamed of actually going inside of it.
"Wow- This place- Is this where we'll be staying...?" She turned questionably to Cross.
It depends on how long it takes to locate Franz...
He smiled at her, and shut the carriage door as a small luggage boy came running up to them. The boy was probably only 12, and he bowed graciously to Cross and Evelyn before speaking."Good afternoon, Gentleman and Lady! May I take your bags?" He said before noticing the badges on their chests. He froze for a moment, recognizing the symbol of the Order.
"A-ah...I...I'm so sorry, I didn't see-" He bowed several more times, "Good good sir and ma'am, it's my humble pleasure."Cross waved his hand, "No need to grovel, boy," He motioned for him to stand up straight.
"Just get our bags."
Evelyen shot the boy a nice smile. "Thank you so much for getting our bags." Of course, she was talking in German to the boy.
She turned back to Cross, speaking in English. "You don't know how long we're staying for?" She blinked curiosity. "Is this a Mission?"

He stuff a small amount of coinage into the boy's breast pocket and looked at him sternly before waving him away. The boy simple nodded and bowed, carrying the numerous bags away with difficulty, taking them up to the room.
Cross turned to Evelyn, "Hungry?" He smiled and hooked his arm with hers, steering her towards the dining room.
