get a piu or ddr cabinet and mod it or something, that would be interesting. pumping all the sound right in your face, and the lights pulsing. a dancemania console would be better if it wasn't lasers.

He seriously wants me to do it, because he likes C&C a lot and Rush. He's a HUGE Rush fan; biggest one I know. I'm a big fan of both bands too. But still.

I'm not good with a falsetto, and certainly not good enough to keep up with C&C or Rush. I could drop it out of the falsetto and try to follow, I guess. Not sure I have the vocal talent for that though. I'd prefer Metallica-style delivery for lyrics, with thrash-prog style playing via crazy a** drumming and time measures with fast, grinding guitars.

If he'll drop the falsetto idea, we can probably try out a few covers and original stuff and see how it works. The guy we know for guitar is a ******** animal in the same way that Van Halen was. He just picks up the instrument and intimately understands it. Dude learned pinch harmonics and Welcome Home in the same day, and can now play the song whenever he wants by memory after like one or two days of practice.

If we ever become even remotely noticeable, he would go so far ahead of the rest of us.
