Dari just sat back and let Seamus eat his cupcake, then clean his face. When finished, he meowed a go-ahead. Dari turned to Cody expectantly. What did he want to see?

"Can you solve riddles?" Cody asked, and knelt slightly. "Come here, Seamus," he beckoned the cat sidhe over. "Does he have a board or something he can use to answer?"

"Let me go get it."
Dari wandered into Lori's office. The elf was currently studying something on his screen with determined intensity.
"May I have Seamus' board?" Dari asked.
Lori didn't look up. "Yeah, of course. It's over there." Lori gestured to a table covered in documents. Beneath it sat Seamus' board, propped up against the wall.
"Thank you." Dari took it and returned.

Meanwhile, Seamus trotted over to Cody and reached up to touch his arm. Yes. Yes, he could solve riddles. He was the smartest cat sidhe.
Dari returned with the board and nodded for Cody to follow. He led them to the area nearby the file cabinets which was open and out of the way. He laid out Seamus' board and patted it flat.
Seamus walked over just as happily and looked over his board.

Seamus seemed to like him! Maybe flattery really did get you somewhere, at least when you were talking to a cat sidhe. He moved closer to the board. "What goes up but not down?" He asked.

Pfft, that was simple, because he was the smartest cat sidhe in the world. Also, he had heard it before. Seamus oriented himself with his board and danced out 'a-g-e.' It might have been hard to follow the first time seeing it, but Dari laughed.
"Go slow, Seamus. He doesn't see you often."
Seamus meowed.

Cody was impressed! He smiled at Seamus. "You really are the smartest cat sidhe," he said. He'd never met one besides Seamus, but the cat could solve riddles! "How about this? What has a head and tail but no body?"

This time Seamus spelled his response out very slowly, with only one paw. He adjusted,tapped the first letter, looked to Cody, adjusted, tapped the second letter, looked to Cody, and then got slightly frustrated and stopped looking to Cody before each try.

"He's good. I always feel like I should be able to make something new up for him, but I wouldn't have any idea how."

"You don't have to go so slow," Cody assured Seamus. He knelt down and reached to scratch behind Seamus' ears. "Maia's told me all about you. What's your favorite thing to eat?"

"Cake and fish." Dari figured he'd only really need to translate once before Cody got a hang of it.

"I'll get you fish from the cafeteria," Cody promised, and smiled at Seamus. He looked towards Dari. "What do you want to do now?" He asked.

Seamus was tapping at a frantic pace.
H-E-Y-H-E-Y-H-E-Y ... H-E-Y
Dari turned to him. Now it was going to be trouble trying to get away. Seamus saw him, trilled, and rubbed up against his leg as he crouched. Dari reached down to pet him. "I know, you're a handsome boy."

Oh? Seamus was upset they were leaving? He knelt down and scratched at Seamus' ears. "You want to come with us?" He asked. "Dari's showing me around today."

Seamus meowed. Then, as if unsure if Cody could understand, ran back to his board and tapped "yes" repeatedly like it was a bug.
"I think he gets it," Dari said with a laugh, "Let me bring your board back. If you want to talk later, we can."
Seamus stepped off of the board and let Dari take it back to Lori's side table.
Lori asked him to watch a video. He couldn't help. Cameras didn't record in the fourth dimension. Lori cursed and went back to work, and Dari re-emerged to grab Cody and Seamus. He waved for them to follow. "Come on. I'll give you the full tour."

They reached Michael's door some time later, although Dari did not approach it. He didn't want to entice the spirit to tease Cody, who probably wasn't brave enough to try to go inside if the door opened regardless. Still, he felt responsible. All of the other people who hadn't been too busy had been introduced, but Michael was different.
"That's--" but before he could finish, something caught the corner of his eye. Michael. He waved, sitting on an abandoned desk. Luckily, nobody else was missing. It didn't seem to be an illusion, just someone gone off to lunch or taking a sick day.
Dari pointed. "That's Michael."

"Pointing's rude," Cody teased. He waved back towards Michael and then headed over towards the ghost. He was safe, wasn't he? He and Dari were friends.
"Hi Michael, I'm Cody."
