Selen herself was on the brink of crying. She couldn't handle seeing one of her friends die like that herself. Bending down, she hugged Oomizu, hoping it would somehow ease their sorrow, with little success. Ostrava, in the meanwhile, kept his gaze down. Then, he noticed a white glitter in the sky. White dust began to fall from the sky and gather into what appeared to be a human body. Ostrava just watched, and saw in amazement what was happening. "Oomizu, Selen.. Look!"

After a small while, Joseph could hear himself breathing again. He expected that when he opened his eyes again, he would be in a strange place along with Allant and the Old One. Instead, he heard the sound of waves, and he could feel the cold water against his face. Wait, he could feel it? Slowly opening his eyes, he began to notice that he was on the same beach as he was before. Ostrava and Selen were watching in amazement. He was feeling things again. Looking down to see his hands, he saw that they weren't blue and transparent. He was in his body again! He was alive! Besides a wrist brace with a black onyx set into the center, he was back in his body once again. "I'm alive again!" He shouted to them both, running to hug Oomizu in joy over what had happened

This was starting to get stupid. "Yeah, you ******** up. It happens. Not normally as bad as this, I'll give you that, but s**t happens." Jack resisted the urge to shake his head. They weren't getting anywhere like this. So, he started walking forward, but didn't draw a weapon. "I'm going to keep watch over the sword. I won't attack you, but if you attack me I will defend myself. I can only guess what you think getting that thing will do for you, but I can promise it won't make anything easier. Well, except for direct physical combat, but that's sort of a give in." He knew what evil was, and this kid wasn't evil. There was some evil inside him, sure; there was some inside everyone. Hell, there had been a more evil side to Nina. The albino genius was pretty certain Kratos wouldn't try to kill him, but kept his guard up just in case. Emotions were tricky things, and he had never been the best at reading them.

Spy had. Was... Was Shodan using close to more power than the city could produce? If the city lost power, how would it stay flying? It probably wouldn't. On the other hand, if they could pull the metaphorical plug for a few seconds, that just might end Shodan. The RED carefully made his way out of the lab, so he would be able to speak. "Navi," he whispered, once he was sure he would not be discovered, "What do you think would happen if we could cut off all the power in the city for a second or two?"

((Someone sounds like she needs a hug.))

The moment Oomizu tackled him, he fell straight back ont he beach. But it didn't matter at all anymore. He was alive again, and everything was all right. "Yes, yes! I'll be coming home with you, Oomizu!" He told her, just plain happy about everything that had happened. After not being able to feel much else other then pain, the hug was something magical to him. Still, there was something bugging him. "How did you survive that though? I thought it would be certain that you were to meet your end?" Ostrava asked him, which Joseph also wondered.

"I believe I have the answer to that." A voice called out. Looking to his wrist, Joseph saw that there was a small light glowing from the onyx set within it. "Being an Archdemon myself, I allowed thee to be granted back your body and to be entrusted with my soul. Simply put, you are the last known wielder of the soul arts." The stone explained. Joseph had a lok of shock and awe on his face when he heard that. With this, he had the power to summon phantom armies at will, slay demons the size of mountains. And thankfully, he could control the power. Still, he was happy that he was alive and well. "Come on. Let's get ready to go home." He told Oomizu as he opened the portal to the Nexus one last time, with Ostrava and Selen following.

Oomizu giggled as they fell and hugged Joseph tighter when he said he would come home. She let go and got off of him as the onyx on his wrist began to speak. She recognized the voice right away and smiled lightly. She looked to Joseph as he opened the portal and scrambled onto her feet as she went through the portal.

"Because I care, kiddo. Either you prove you mean what you say, or you start saying what you mean," Jack replied, before this new man appeared. Ah. Now things made more sense. "Wow, you really got no idea what you're talking about..." he noted, sounding almost impressed. "Buddy, I've wielded that sword, and lemme tell you something, there is a reason it's called the Sword of Malice. It's not gonna end the war, it'll just make it bigger, not to mention turn the guy using it into a colossal, superpowered a*****e. You wanna turn the tide of this stupid as hell war, then protect this sanctuary, rather than destroy it. Lord knows we need all the help we can get, especially now."

"At this point, anything is worth the effort," Spy replied, before heading back in. He didn't think he would be able win this whole battle with a single Electro-Sapper... but good lord would it be hilarious if he did. He carefully advanced to the screen that looked as if its camera was in Shodan's eye, and began examining it. s**t, if only he had a better understanding of this world's technology, then this might make more sense and he would have a better idea what he was looking for...
