no i mean like i wouldnt breed if i didnt know anything about the training of my pokemon. i know about ev training and how to get the maximum for stats like getting the speed for a pokemon to its max. and iv is what the pokemon that has hatched comes with
so pretty much good strong pokemon being breed= good babies. or so im thinking

~Er.. If I you are saying what I think you are, then you aren't completely right. You obviously know what EVs are, and they are what allows a Pokemon to gain higher points in their stats, but they play no part in breeding. IVs determine how high a Pokemon's stats can go, and that's what people try to breed for. The stats of the parents are not important, it's the IVs they might have that is what people want their eggs to have. Maybe that's what you meant, so do you know the easiest way of transferring those IVs to the egg?~

NightmareNightCross so pretty much good strong pokemon being breed= good babies. or so im thinking its kina true, but not really... good parents can breed bad babies, and bad parents can breed good babies xd
but generally, its ussually true ninja
EDIT as long as by "good" you are refering to IVs xd

one thing they don't say in most guides...
is that Nature, ability, gender and shinyness are all determined the moment the egg is created...
but IVs of the pokemon in the egg are not generated until you pick up the egg from the old man... xd

i was thinking that once you have the egg its like ev training in a way. im not to sure on this
and for my breeding shop im not focusing much on ev and iv training since i dont know all the aspects yet. for now im just plan out trying to get my index filled and help others get pokemons they dont have yet.

~The easiest way to transfer good IVs to the egg is the Power items you can get at battle Frontier. If you want your egg to have the Speed IVs of a parent, you give that parent a Power Anklet, and the baby will most likely get the parents IVs in that stat. Not always 100% sure that the IVs will transfer, but most of the time they will.~

~When you breed, EVs do not carry over. You would still have to train the lil baby. :3~

EV training , means battling pokemon... nothing you can do with an egg xd

oh!! i get it that makes much more sense than how the guide put it. so, if the parenting pokemon is holding a power up kind of item it alters the iv of the egg??

~If a parent is holding an actual "Power item" (Power anklet, Power Bracer, Power Weight, etc.) Then it greatly increases the chance that the baby will have the same IVs in the specific stat that the Parent is holding the designated Power item for.~
