Zelyhon 3.14 Zelyhon 3.14 MegamanPsy Capt. Jack Sparrow in KH 2 = megawin. I need to play more. I am still in Beauty and the Beast world. crying I'm just through Olympus myself. Although, I am watching Beauty and the Beast at the moment. Stupid KH II making me want to watch all those old Disney movies again. gonk xd The only Disney movie I own in Lilo & Stitch. You don't have any of the classic Disney movies? Such a pity. They were really good and, going back and watching them now that I'm older, I'm struck by exactly how good and how fluid the animation is in them. The facial expressions in particular strike me as very *very* well done. At my Mom's house, yes. But not at the apartment.

Kinetic Dream 3.14 Ugh. I am considering unplugging the damn landline. We had to get it because of the DSL...so I figured, hey! Let's get a cheap phone and people can call us! The only calls we get are wrong numbers and telemarketers...for other people. Like just now. The phone was ringing, and I knew it wasn't for me so I was just going to let it ring. Nooo. It rang for like, 5 minutes straight. So I answered. Me: Hello? Them: Hello. Uhm. Who is this? Me: What th...Who is THIS? You called me! Them: Gee, I must have the wrong number.. Me: Yeah, if you aren't looking for a Megan, or a Josh--you are lost. Them: Oh...I am sorry... Sounds like my phone problem. sweatdrop I'm still getting calls from people out in Colorado or Montana asking for 'David', and I've just started getting some calls from spanish speaking people and have to tell them, through a very rough translation that "____ isn't here, this isn't his telephone." ...I still haven't caught the new guy's name. sweatdrop When we first got my cell phone, I got some really bizarre calls at strange times. Usually, it was during the day, and people were looking for a Steve to come fix their bathroom/kitchen plumbing stuffs. But then one time there was this lady who was insistent that she had the right number...at 3:00 a.m. EST. She called a total of 6 times within a 20 minute time-frame. I eventually had enough:Quote: Lady: Hello, is Sarah there? Me: No, she isn't. Just like she wasn't here the last 5 times you called my phone. This is not Sarah's phone. This is not Sarah's number. This is my phone and my number, and I'd really appreciate it if you'd get the right number for 'Sarah' and stop insisting that she's here when she obviously isn't. Lady: No, no. You're the one who's mistaken. I know this is Sarah's number. She gave it to me just a couple of weeks ago. I know my daughter wouldn't lie to me. I bet you're just a thief who stole her cell phone! Me: Look, lady, I hope you understand that you're actually admitting that your daughter is a stupid idiot who would let someone steal her phone and not ask the phone company to turn it off. You are also insinuating that I'm a petty thief with no common sense, because only stupid thieves would accept incoming calls from a stolen cell phone. Lady: I demand to speak to Sarah right now! Me: For the last time, Sarah is not here, nor will she ever be! It is 3:00 am in my area, meaning that you woke me up in the middle of the night, in my own room. So unless your 'Sarah' is a ghost or a lesbian *****, she is not here. Will you please drill that fact into your head and realize that your daughter may have given you a.... GASP... false number?! Lady: No, Sarah would neve- Me: To be honest, if I had a mother like you, who would keep a poor high school student up at 3:00am just because she had a wrong number, I would give you a false number, too. Furthermore, lady, if you call my phone again, I'll call the police for harrassment, and they'll track down your number, get your information, and get a hitman to kill you. I am just that powerful. I really hate ignorant people... gonk

hilaroma Dr. Fomite hilaroma I'm almost finished reading what I decided to out of the book, but I feel dizzy, have blurred vision, and am a little sick to my stomach. It's probably from lack of sleep and over-hydration.
One more chapter and then I write the paper. 5 pages. I've got 2.5 hours to do that and I'm totally slowing down. Uggh. I always put myself in these horrible situations. I never learn. I don't know how I'm going to make it to school on-time, much less at all, with no sleep and this sick feeling. Stupid. Very stupid. gonk Sick day? Tuesday was a half sick day. I'm deciding whether I can afford to miss today...
First class is the last lecture before the midterm Next one, I'm already not doing so well in and my grade could suffer from missing any more class I skip Japanese for no reason all the time which may get me in trouble in the long-run, but for now I don't really care much The next class is the one the paper's due in and I don't know if he accepts late work... My last class--I've never missed it. Ever. It's my favorite class...But we're watching a movie so it's not like I'll be missing a valuable lecture. But I feel bad missing.
I guess I could pull a Tuesday and just go to the last two, but I still don't know if I can afford to miss the first two....so difficult.
In the end I will decide on how sick I feel and how much of the paper is finished. Which will likely not be much...we'll see. I'll keep writing here with what I do. Writing things down helps me to wake up and to think things out more clearly. If I think about them, I'll just get frustrated and stressed like usual. You should take your time. One thing I learned... even if you don't hand it in on time in class, you still have time to stick it in your teacher's inbox anytime after class on the same day. It's still "on time" as it's handed in the on the date specified. 3nodding If you feel the need to make an excuse, I always find "My printer borked. I had to email it to myself and try to print it out here at school, but when I transferred it from email to document, it lost all it's formatting. I didn't have the time to format it properly before class, so I had to do it after. Sorry for the delay." works well. biggrin

I can tell when it's actually for someone here when it reaches the 2nd verse (our phone sings instead of rings. I can't tell how many times it rings, but people usually hang up 3/4's of the way thru the 1st verse).
Edit: I get calls for some guy named Steve Williams. I dunno who this Steve is, but he best stop giving out our number to telemarketers. mad

I feel so sick now that I know I'm not going anywhere today, and I'm still not quite finished. I'll probably email him tonight and explain that I was totally sick and couldn't come in to school at all. I guess I'm not below begging him to take it if that doesn't work. Anyways, he doesn't ever seem to know what even he wants, so he's no hard-a** on details. So yeah, the goal is to try and talk to him and then see what he wants me to do. sweatdrop Thanks for the advice! If this ever happens again, I'll probably go with that one. 3nodding

3.14 I don't know anything else that is popular. Hm. Japan bans imported sales to the US? Second season of Naruto bought by 4Kids? Bleach name changes... Southern Baptist Church Convinces President Bush Yaoi is Evil? Nationwide Ban? I like the yaoi one.

xNebulousx Kinetic Dream ...So anyway, a few days ago, my ex-girlfriend, the one I still talk to? Yeah, she asked me to teach her how to be black. I found this incredibly funny, but at the same time a big boost of confidence. xD She's still sticking to it. sweatdrop I fear my dedication to learning has been surpassed. Whaaa? That would be like someone asking me how to be Asian...I would just say something like "uhhh...get good grades and study for fun." Practice DDR, lots and lots of practice.
