Logically speaking, low supply and high demand only yields higher prices. High supply and low demand yields ridiculously low prices. So, it would help the economy if people would just put more of their stuff into the market. Then the sellers could compete over lower prices, and buyers could compete on higher buying.
Or, we could all just win a bunch of donation items at the Gaia-Wheel-Thing they usually have at Gaia Booths during major anime conventions, and flood the market with our winnings to influence the marketplace to drop in overall prices... ninja

Ah, I find the Exchange oddly amusing...in a frustrating and very, very stupid way.
