Dulnair You know, I always like telling outrageous stories to people in real life, so I thought I'd try it with a spam call I got just a minute ago. "Hello, I'm calling about some green energy homeowner payback thing, because part the taxes that you've been paying are now being returned due to blah blah five-hundred dollars. ...Am I speaking to the homeowner now?" "Um, no, sorry, she's not at this number." "Oh, well could you give me her number, or give her mine?" "Ehhhh... she just went on a vacation from all electronics, sorry. It's part of a new zen program she's doing." "Oh, I see. Well, when would be a good time to call back?" "I dunno... last time she did something like this she went into a coma for a few weeks and... yeah." "Yikes! Hrrrm... well, maybe two weeks? How does that sound?" "Yeah, maybe. These things take a while." "Alright, I'll try again then. Have a good day!" "You too~" In retrospect I should've said something like, "Two weeks? She might still be alive then, yeah." How tame, man. The last telemarketer I did that to almost called an ambulance. xd

When she does call back, I'm totally gonna tell her a sob story about my comatose mother and how am I ever going to pay off her ridiculous crystal-therapy debts? I'm just testin' the telewaters, maaan.

Dulnair Wantcookie How tame, man. The last telemarketer I did that to almost called an ambulance. xd Hey now, it's not over yet. When she does call back, I'm totally gonna tell her a sob story about my comatose mother and how am I ever going to pay off her ridiculous crystal-therapy debts? I'm just testin' the telewaters, maaan. I got away with a nonspecific and impressively convincing "oh god there's blood everywhere" once, so I'm pretty sure you can do most anything. xd That time I got a bunch of people to chant "Ph'nglui Mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn! Ia! Ia! Cthulu fhtagn!" in unison at the telemarketer guy was a lot of fun. There's always an impressive amount of self-satisfaction that comes with knowing that the telemarketer hung up of their own accord. xd
