Seph tutted patting Itaka's nose "I can't tell you what reward you would get because if you were to win I would want to surprise you with a gift, but my stamina isn't the only thing I have thats better than you. I'm much faster and better at didging stuff... your more of a blocker" she told him snickering slightly at Sophia's behaviour.
Hebal groaned with disappointment but quickly brightened up watching Chobi headbutt Boco back then pick off a bit of hay that was still stuck unside his feathers "Aww I don't think it was fair but oh well... congrats on winning" she told Mari bouncing up to her to give her a hug "Sorry about the strop but I don't like it much when I lose stuff.
Alpha scratched his chin reluctantly joining the long queue of airshipd outside the gates waiting entry "Yeah I suppose thats true but it's not exactly like they need anything like that being egg laying creatures and all. I don't know a huge amount about them so could be interesting to do some re search" he chuckled liking the sound of his idea.

Felina smiled back playing with Cid's ears "Yeah thats because even to rabbits he is still a baby. The old Cid guy wouldn't be too popular with our lot since many forests were destroyed as a result of quite a few of his inventions even if it was sometimes indirectly" she remarked rubbing her nose against Oassu's cheek.
Hayate frowned trying to reposition himself to see but soon gave up trying to look past Sophia's tail "Strange creature... I wonder if she is even watching stuff. Meh theres nothing wrong with a little bit of mischief so long as it doesn't end up hurting or completely humiliating people" he shrugged eventually casting a spell to lift Sophia up in a small transparent bubble.

Oassu nodded "Bet the dwarves love him though he developed like half their advanced technology according to the history books." he said "Shame thats caused the dwarves to be enemies of Viera too" he sighed.
Jenna chuckled seeing Sophia float in the window apparently unaware of her levitated status "Well I guess I'll just have to wait and see what wondrous plans you have in mind, just so long as it don't get us kicked out" she said
Itaka sighed "Aww come on I'd like to know" he said snuggling Seph "Your not that much faster and even if I block it still means I can get a good parry in" he said
Mari smiled hugging Hebal like "Well I don't like it when folk cheat but don't worry, you win at a lot more things than me" she said hopping off Boco allowing him to go pick up a bucket of greens in the corner and offer it to Chobi. "Still chocobo's know how to have good fun at least." she said.
Barbaros raised an eyebrow "Y'think? Doesn't seem so interesting to me researching dozens of Gria" he yawned

Seph chuckled leaning in towards Itaka "Actually I am way faster than you because my weapon isn't as heavy and I don't have as much muscle as you to carry around. But if I were to tell you the reward I might make you lose some motivation to try and defeat me but trust me it will be worth your while" she told him kissing his neck twice.
Hebal nodded her head rapidly in agreement eatching Chobi happily accept the greens from Boco "Yeah they do have good fun, at least when the chocobos are friends and all cutesy together. But you wion lots more stuff than me too, just in completely different areas" she chirped putting her arm around Mari and gave her a small hug.
Alpha laughed quietly "Well to each their own I guess. Personally I am not interested in pirates and ships where as you love stuff like that. But the gria are nice people like you and me would at least be fun to study even if there was nothing interesting about their species."

Felina shrugged as if to say she wasnn't surprised "It kinda makes sense really. Nature and technology are almost always at war with eachother, always has been since we make toold to cut down trees and all that. Plus viera strongly believe themselves to be one with the forest and all that which builds up" she concluded moving to the side to see their new surroundings
Hayate smiled moving Sophia slightly over to one side making sure she could still see out the window too "I won't get kicked out, I won't be doing anything that serious but you know, if it weren't for this queue we would already be inside the city and possibly have parked and got off" he added examining the giant golden gate.

Oassu smiled "Least you elves aren't as nature-sensitive as Viera, kinda makes me feel bad but we need some technology to get by stuff you know?" he said keeping hold of Cid while Felina moved away.
Jenna laughed as Sophia destroyed the bubble with one touch from her magic infused paw before moving over to block Hayate's view once more tittering quietly to herself. "Looks like you lose Hayate...I'll just need to keep an eye on the tournament to see it," she said frowning at the golden gate "Thats pretty extravagant isn't it?" he asked.
Itaka smiled sighing slightly as he lay down on the couch letting Seph lie on him "I'm sure it will, I'll need to give you a very worthwhile reward if you win but don't assume your speed will help you out so much, my extra muscle helps me move with my weapon at normal speed" he retorted kissing both of Sephs horns.
Mari smiled returning Hebal's hug "Don't be silly, your way better than me at being furry and jumping theres so much you have better don't feel bad" she said watching Boco and Chobi share the bucket.
Barbaros scratched his head slightly "I didn't realise you were such an academic Alpha, besides hasnt some Nu Mou or something already done a Gria biology report, how much more do you want?" he asked.

Seph shook her head perching herself down on Itaka "we'll just have to wait and see about that when we are both faced off against eachother though I think you'll find your mistaken" she answered back keeping an eye on Sophia "Do you think that one likes airships? She seems happy looking out the window"
Hebal giggled taking the bucket from Boco then held it up so the chocobos could eat together "The only reason that I am so much better at being furry than you really is because my whole body is covered in fur where as yours only has hair which isn't really the same as having fur. You made a cute viera and fooled everyone may I add" she complimented Mari.
Alpha shrugged tapping his foot impatiently "Yeah some boring nu mou probably has studied their biology but theres more to look at then. You've got to look at the biger picture which involves looking at behavioural patterns, culture and language. Lots of stuff to still look into"

Felina shook her head then pulled a silly face at Oassu "Well actually you don't need the technology to get by. I mean people got on fine with their lives without but I guess it's good for none magical medicines if anything" she pondered moving back to keep hold of Cid "Check out that gate we are about to pass through, it's so over fancy" she whispered.
Hayate grunted slightly annoyed at Sophia "Meh I was done looking anyway" he grumbled taking out a book to read while they waited "The gate is pretty extravagant but what could be a better wayto show off your wealth to visitors than a big golden gate" he added clearing his throat.

Oassu smiled "I guess" he said getting up and moving over to Felina as the arch slowly passed over them "It's certainly extravagant, I wonder how they got the money for something so....flamboyant" he said.
Jenna smiled "Ok glad to hear it but sure we would but we are arriving late and it is like the opening day of the tournament and stuff" she shrugged "It's naturally busy."
Itaka smiled stroking Seph's butt happily while wrapping her tail around his finger "Yeah we'll need to see, I'll need to think of a nice reward for you too just in case you win" he said kissing her and glancing at Sophia "Either that or she likes annoying Hayate." he said.
Mari smiled "Nice to know but I didn't think I was anything special, the coffee tray Viera was cute but oh well I did fool everyone well" she chuckled patting Boco as he accidentally bumped beaks with Chobi while feeding.
Barbaros nodded "Sure I didn't realise you were such a psychologist Alpha still I suppose at your age you'll have done so much of everything" he said.

Seph laughed raising her head to whisper in Itaka's ear "Yeah but lets face it, who doesn't enjoy annoying Hayate from time to time. He's way too serious at times and should open up a little more" she told him gripping him with her tail "You'll come up with something but you will need to fast because you'll be going down either tomorrow or the day after" she stated confidently.
Hebal patted Chobi's wings causing her to jump slightly in surprise and almost choke on her food "Ooops didn't mean to scare you like that. The coffee girl is kinda cute but I think it's mainly because of her shyness that she seems that way. Though incidentally... Clover knew you were meant to be human but mum didn't realise at first, the only one who was suspicious of you was Lilly who thought you smelled a little odd."
Alpha smirked noticing gria at the front of the gate escorting each airship individually to a parking space "I haven't done everything there is to do in the world and some topics just don't interest me at all though I have done way more things than the average human could in their lifetime" he replied moving the airship forward

Felina gasped finally being able to see inside the city from the airship "Who knows where they get it from.. maybe they just saved up for ages but check out this place. It's like everyone is walking around on clouds... I am pretty sure they are now I look at it" she nodded as they flew under another bridge that connected two giant clouds topped with numerous buildings.
Hayate turned paused skimreading through a page of his book then turned over "Yeah it's a really bad day to come since it's the opening day today and the last day to sign up for participation but still... I would much rather be outside. I'm not a big fan of airship travel" he quietly complained "I bet you'll be glad to be able to get off and run around too but for differeent reasons"

Oassu smiled "Yeah it's nice right?" he said frowning as he saw some mischevious Gria girls fly over the fancy couple and bombard them with water balloons "Maybe we should get inside," he said nudging her and pointing to the soaked couple.
Jenna nodded "We'll be missing all the festivities too" she chuckled seeing the Gria bombing the ship next to them "Kids must have so much fun being able to fly." she said.
Itaka smiled whispering in Seph's ear "Thats a shame I was planning on taking you down tonight..." he said nibbling her ear gently. "A little endurance training for later" he said.
Mari smiled "Well I guess I'd need to like live for longer as a Viera or do something drastic to smell like a Viera" she shrugged "All the same it's done now so I feel very ok with it you know" she said happily.
Barbaros nodded "ANything in psychology or anything?" he asked "Just curious as to where this desire to know more about them" he asked glancing at the police Gria.

Seph raised her eyebrow curiously at Itaka "Me, need endurence training? If anything it is you who needs to work on the endurence because right now yours can't compare to mine" she whispered before bursting out laughing at the couple on the other airship getting soaked. "Haha the gria weren't impressed with that couple... maybe Oassu and Felina will be next to be soaked."
Hebal patted Mari on the back steering her towards the exit "See you chocobos later ok, we are going to see how close we are to Kunec, we slowed right down so can't be that far" she told the birds dragging Mari out "Ooooh check out the pretty views! Oh and the only reason you don't smell viera like is because of your different diet"
Alpha shook his head "Nah I don't really see the point in trying to study what goes on inside the head. Some things are best left untouched the way I see it, predicting behaviour is all that I find useful anyway. Gria are a fairly newly discovered race though so not much is known about their history and stuff"

Felina also frowned but shook her head at Oassu "Aww no we aren't going to go inside just because of a few naughty viera" she insisted putting a transparent pink bubble around then "There now we can enjoy the view if now sliightly pinkish and all the water they might throw won''t be able to hit is" she smiled satisfied with her spell "Yeah this place looks nice if so unusual"
Hayate scratched his head wondering what everyone was laughing at "Uhuh so whats so funny out the window I am missing? All the festives won't be over until later. Theres always the fireworks they apparently set up from sun down to midnight. I bet you would have pleanty more thieving opportunities if you had an ability to fly and a very easy get away"

Oassu chuckled "They are just having fun I guess little tricksters," he said placing an arm around her and glancing around "Yea I heard Kunec was interesting to look at, it doesn't need conventional architecture because it's inhabitants can fly." he said looking at a shop perched 10 feet off the ground.
Jenna shook her head "Its nothing but the fireworks should be good an here flying wouldn't make much difference since everyone can fly" she said "Just looks quite fun thats all." she shrugged.
Itaka blushed at Sephs endurance jibe "Well maybe but I'm sure they wouldn't want that" he chuckled kissing Seph's forehead "You'll fit right in here with all these flying people I'll bet." he said.
Mari waved goodbye to the chocobo's as they headbutted her and Hebal as they left "Well I'm not altogether too sure WHAT a Viera smells like....you just smell like Hebal to me" she said taking a brief sniff "Quite nice actually" she giggled.
Barbaros chuckled "They just liked to spend their time sitting up here in their skycity, can't say I blame them, above the clouds the weather is beautiful!" he said
