Bart was hiding from who? From Helena Bertinelli of course... she was absolutely infactuated with the speedster but Bart was not interested in the slightest in the school's most notorious slut. Helena just doesn't accept no.
" Bart... Bart ... For the last time I told you that you're GOING to take me out TONIGHT! AND YOU'RE GONNA LIKE IT!!!"

" Can't we just be friends?"
" NO!!!!!"

Bart ran away he wasn't paying attention to where he was going when he ran into the newspaper office..
"Hide me!"

There was blood, all over his hands. Blood coating his fingers, spreading across his palms. And he was using the blood to write his essay answers for his test. When he needed more blood for his quill, he leaned over to dip it into his Hartley shaped inkwell.
His eyes shot open, and he sat up in bed. No way...no way. That had to be a dream, right? All of it. The bloody essay and the shooting where Hartley had shown up with a bullet in his side. If it was a dream, then he was in Teddy's bed, listening to Billy snore like a hacksaw.
But there was silence, and looking down, he could see Hartley laying beside him, half-naked. In the dark he checked once more for a bullet wound. So the healing part hadn't been a dream either. Hartley was warm, and he could feel his muscles react to his touch, just a little twitch. His hand traveled down his side, and he felt the jut of his hips.
Hartley reminded him vaguely of a secret agent. Nerdy and awkward during the day, but devious and smooth at night. His little secret, with his double life.
Tenderly, he wiped the hair from his forehead, brushing it from his forehead and tucking it behind his ear. "Don't you ever scare me like that again," he whispered. He kissed Hartley's stomach, where the bullet had hit before he curled up beside him once more and drifted off to sleep.

*The mysterious Pannie Thief was on the move. Time was short and there were pannies to pilfer! She moved through the night quickly and quietly like the animal she was named for. Not the name the media gave her(the Pannie Thief) but the name she gave herself, Black Cat.
The first stop she made was at the abode of Emma Frost. She NEEDED some Frosty pannies! Cat slipped inside and hoped that Emma hadn't left on her vacation with Scott Summers. She padded across the bedroom and opened the drawer and....*
NO PANNIES!!! ARGH!!
*ALL THE PANNIES WERE GONE! FROST HAD LEFT ON HER TRIP! HOW DARE SHE? ZOMG, CAT WUZ MAD!*
I WANT TEH PANNIES!
*Cat grabbed the pillows off of Emma's bed and TORE THEM IN HALF!*

"H-Hello." She said slightly worried but trying to be brave. This was the first time in a 'hell-like' place where people weren't trying to kill them. So maybe Cassie's family wasn't so bad after all...
"We just came to check on a soul you have here... Patroclus? His friend is very worried about him...."
She hoped she wasn't stepping out of line here... But a promise was still a promise!

Chris Powell *Chris sighed ... but now he hand nothing to do. Maybe he should go back out and patrol...*
"Powell!!! Well there you are you little jerk!" Karen said smacking him in the arm lightly, "Where the hell have you been? I had the rough up those football butholes all by my self! As much fun as that had been, I would have liked the back up! Gah! Can't you do anything right?!"
She threw her hands in the air, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration.
"I just don't know why I let you follow me around all the time... but I guess you can come with me... someone added a new figure to the naked group on the side of the Municipal Building. And you and I are going to check it out."
Starts flying.
"Lets GO Powell! Can't that hunk of Metal of yours even fly??! Ugh!!"
Swoops back down, cup's Powell's buttocks and throws him in the air!
"If you can't fly, you'd better learn..." She said following his 'flight path'.

*Chris tumbled end over end through the air. SHE DID IT AGAIN! He was pondering on what to do for the evening and Karen just busted in his room and drug him outside. She claimed he followed her around and then launched him like a discus!*

 KAREN STARR "No wonder...!! You never listen to anything I say! We're going to the Mural! NOW!!"
Since he was too dweeb-y to fly on his own, Karen kindly allowed him to fly with her by clutching the back of his collar, letting him hang as she flew across town to the Municipal Building.
Finally dropping him on the ground as she looked up at the Mural. There was one more addition to her own bare image. Achilles in all his glory!

Karen, you lack one essential part he likes. It's not your fault and it's not his. I'm sure there's some other cool guy that would make you happy and he'll be straight.
