Meiko nodded to Souji and ran down the hall, making sure to glace from the corner of her eyes every now and then to keep an eye out for traps. She heard Shodan, but she ignored the woman. She didn't need to be some super-powerful being. She just needed her charms, looks, and voice to be satisfied with how she was. So, rather than give Shodan a response, she ignored the woman completely.
Luki heard Toph's comment towards Shodan and chuckled lightly wit a smirk. "How do you think I felt when that horrid voice of her's kept ringing through my head. I still have a head ache. The woman does not shut up once she is in your head." He kept running and quickly saw where every one was. He grinned widely and laughed hopefully. "We made it Toph! Can you sense the others We caught up. We'll be at least a little safer now."
Kikyo kept running and quickly caught sight of the familiar attack from a familiar monk. She ran towards him, her cheeks flushed red from all the running around she had done since she had left the shelter, and smiled thankfully when she saw Alex was with Miruko and some others. "Thank goodness I found you, Alex! Have you seen any sign of your sister? Knowing her, she is probably near your uncle, but you know how I worry over you children. Come on. The others are headed towards the center. They will most likely need back up."
Scout had never thought that some one as strong as this guy had just been kicking back some where in the city. Maybe he wasn't into fighting usually? Who cares! The man was cool! He heard some woman suddenly talking behind him and turned to see the woman that the blond chick had been talking to the first day. Wasn't she her mom or something? Oh, what ever. She still saved his a** from being clobbered by Oomizu, so she was a good guy in his eyes.
Soldier listened as the woman spoke and heard something about back up. "Do you need our assistence?"
Kikyo looked cautiously to the people dressed in blue before she shook her head. "No. No, this is something that members who have been here for years should handle. You continue to protect those in the shelter."
Neru heard the voice and growled before she began smacking the side of her head as though she had pool water in her ears. "Get out of my head, you crack-sounding b***h! I dealed with your nonesense earlier today-- get lost!" She looked to the angel and nodded. "Yeah yeah. I'm coming." She pulled out her katana, ready to use it just in case.

Alexander reconized the attack easily"Tomoe!" he beckoned "We are over here" he said as he looked back to Miroku "We can win this!" He heard a familiar voice as well. "Mom!? What are you doing here?" he said with a smile "I dont know where sis is at" he said with a saddened look.
"We made it!" Palito said happily "Finally i can upload myself and we can be good again. Then you can show me everything i have been missing all these years! " she giggled before twirling around and approaching the mainframe. "I wonder what its like to be inlove like you two are. to kiss and all that other good stuff?" she said as she walked into a narrow corridor and pulled out her USB cord "And here goes nothing!" she said as she connected herself into the connection. She was about to link to the mainframe when Shodan's voice boomed over them. "Irritant! " she said simply as the walls surrounding the mainframe sprouted electrified spikes, impaling Palito and shorting her out. Palito collapsed on the ground motionless. The mainframe beeped as the walls around it retracted the spikes. After a few seconds of scaning the body on the floor Shodan's face appeared on the large Tv screen above the mainframe and finally spoke The broadcast of what had just happened was streamed into all the vocaloids and tv screens in the city"PALITO!" Souji yelled as he saw his friend just get killed infront of him. "YOU b***h!" he snarled Maverick nodded as he opened fire some more. He noticed the broadcast and shivered a bit. "Whats going on...Wait where are those two at? I dont remember any part of this city looking like that" he said as he fired a few more rounds "We are infront of one of the buildings just stop by the door and wait for them to get in" he said Navi nodded before noticing the video feed that was comming from one of the small screens in the wall panels. "Spy... Whats going on? Why and how did all that happen? Does this mean that someone else is already where Shodan is at trying to deactivate her?"Kagome continued to heal as many people as she could "Hey so umm what was your name again. Sorry It is kinda hard to remember such things under so much pressure." she asked Hiruko. "By the way. how many more people do we have injured?" she said hopeing he would know A powerful burst of air pushed Jack, Inuyasha, Lord Inu, and Sesshomaru back as they approached the sword's keep. "You will not pass" a girl said as she stood between them and the path.

Raidou's gun had reverted to normal after a few minutes of it being ice charged. "Hmm, well that took out alot of them. i wonder if theirs someone I can assist." He pulled out another demon tube, he looked at it with a look of fear almost before releasing the demon from it. "Red Rider!" The demon horseman of war was quite the menacing demon. Raidou and Raiho jumped on the back of the demon horse, and the rider sped off, looking to find people in need of help. A group of robots was approaching the horseman. In reaction, and with Raidou's command, he swung his sword once and the attackers soon became a pile of scrap metal.

If it wasn't for the fact that he had been working for BLU for so long, he might have felt differently about taking orders from a woman. Instead, having their Administrator constantly berate and demean them, getting an order in a more gentle tone was a refreshing change of pace. Even if he had anything to say, it was quickly put out of his mind by the broadcast. He wasn't sure what, exactly, the strange face was saying, but he did understand that it couldn't mean anything good. "Understood. Ve vill hold here. You take care of vhat you need to," he replied, voice getting a bit stronger the longer he went without being injured.
Spy watched and listened. This sentient computer... it was so full of itself. It was annoying enough when a human was too vain. "It appears so," he replied to Navi, now whispering. "Let us go assist." He then continued to creep forward, and even though he was invisible, continued to take cover in the shadows and behind anything he could. He came upon the button Navi was talking about, checked the hall to make sure he could run if this turned sour, and pressed it.
Jack was caught completely off guard by the blast of air, and ended up knocked off his feet. "Y'know, if someone told me this morning that I'd be getting a blow job by a cute girl today, this still would have been totally unexpected," he joked, standing back up. "You sure as hell don't look like any of my robots. Just what do you think you're doing?"

Kikyo nodded to Medic, thankful the man was going to follow her instructions without question. She quickly turned and ran towards the building. She knew she would have to hurry if she were to catch up.
Scout respescted how polite the woman's tone was, even in such a risky situation. She seemed to be very calm, too. It was kind of clear she must have gone through something like this. Still, he felt a little worried about letting the woman leave on her own and shifted uncomfortably.
Soldier watched the woman run off before he turned to Miruko and lifted his helmet some so he could get a better look at the man's face. "Is it really a good idea to let her go off on her own? She looks as though she could get into a lot of trouble."
Meiko gasped in horror as Palito was impalled by a spike wall. What had happened? They were so close! Palito had so been looking forward to being fixed and getting to live a human life. She heard Shodan's voice and gritted her teeth as she felt hot tears pooling in her eyes. "Souji, we have to kill Shodan now. I was hoping she would be willing to be good and live in peace with humans like we have, but that just won't have a choice. We have no choice but to eliminate her and make her pay for causing so much pain."
Hiruko glanced over his shoulder to Kagome, not surprised in the least she wouldn't remember his name. She didn't exactly look like she was the brightest person in he world... Still, he gave a "kind" smile (a kind as Hiruko can give) and shrugged nonchalantly. "Do not worry about it. Most do not remember my name. I am Hiruko the Baku. There are possibly twenty more that are near by that could be of help, but you can rest if you need to."

"Enough talk!" Joseph shouted as he grasped his blade with both hands and rushed towards Allant. His double fell easily, so he expected the same. However, Allant simply smiled and sidestepped Joseph just in time to dodge the blow. He counteracted with a swift blow to the chest and a kick which sent him smashing against the wall. He then looked to the others and slashed, creating blades of wind to charge at the rest of the group.

Chapter 4: Beginning of the End

The door to Shodan's lair in the city was opened when spy pressed the button. Now confronted with a big TV screen that showed what was happening in the virtual world with Souji and Meiko. It appeared Shodan was preoccupied with talking to them to take notice of the new intruder. Either that or the invisibility was what kept her from noticing. The machines inside wondered around aimlessly looking for any signs of intruders.
Shodan looked at them. "Y Y Y You have seen whaaaaaaaaaaaaat i can do and st st sttill you defy me? You are in my domain Irritant!" she said speaking clearly for a few seconds "Your flesh is a insult to the perfection of digital" she said as she broadcasted a image of Meiko's body on the screen peeling away the layers to show how she looked from the inside . "I will not abide disobediance" she said as she broadcasted images from the city where all the fighting was taking place, showing images of the newly arrived reinforcements getting slaughtered. The image quickly switched to show a few ships in orbit. She didnt tell them what she had done but she started projecting to them images of what she had planned for the future. Once she escaped from the city, she will be free to take over the universe. "It is time for our dance to end" she said in conclusion as the entire wall started to transform into her face. 
Powerful Psi waves pulsed in the room shredding the floor around them as she spoke "I am Shodan!"
Alexander looked in horror. "There are more coming! They are slaughtering the police force" he growled
Miroku growled "I cant save them If i try to suck up those machines, they will get sucked up with them!" he said as he looked over to the soldier "Dont worry about her, Shes very powerful herself. She can more then handle her self in battle" he grinned
Souji listened intently on what was happening. He was caught off guard when the entire wall changed into a now tangible being. Or so it seemed. He held on to Meiko to keep her from falling back.
Kagome shook her head. "Nah i cant do that, I have to keep going. Whats going on with the screen. What exactly did you all get into while we were retired?" she asked Hiruko
Navi looked around. It seemed the machines were not noticing them. She didnt speak afraid to give their position away. Instead she looked intently on what was going on. She used her magic to communicate to him through telepathy. "Ok we are here but where are they? are they inside the machine itself? if we kill the machine wouldnt they also get killed? or trapped?" she asked
The girl smirked. "Disgusting. as if i would ever give someone like you the pleasure of such a thing" she said as she swirled the wind around her "Your in over your head. Turn back now!"
"You best listen to her man" Kratos said as he approached the group. "Yo pops long time no see" he said to Inuyasha.
"Kratos! What the ******** are you doing here?!" he said surprised to see him in the area obvously
"What pops is that any way to greet your son!? Tsk tsk. Well no problem. Ill cut this short.... Im taking the sword. Im ganna get stronger, and im ganna have anything i want. Why? because im tired of being the nice guy who always finishes last! im tired of that s**t! Thats about it. Dont try to stop me or ill have to get rid of you all" he told them

"Soldier, incoming on your left!" Medic shouted, seeing more of the robots attack. He was trying to see what was going on on the screen, but the battle in front of them was more important. "Heavy, hurry up und get your ammo, vould you!?" he added, turning the Medigun to Soldier.
Spy didn't reply, but took everything into consideration. This machine would obviously stop at nothing to kill everyone and everything. He had no idea where those two on screen were; for all he knew, they could have been behind the building on camera, or something. Navi did bring up a good point; if they were inside the machine (something he didn't fully understand), what would happen to them if it suddenly broke? The RED decided that, even if they did die, it would be worth it. The lives of hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, far outweighed the lives of two. Not to mention he was very much interested in saving his own skin. So, the Frenchman carefully crept through the lab, avoiding the robots as much as possible while looking for where the robotic head was. It had to be in there somewhere...
"At least I made you smile," Jack shot back, giving a smirk himself. "And I've always been in over my head; never stopped me before." After Kratos appeared and said his part, the albino just shook his head. "Sorry, Inuyasha, didn't realize my evil influence would spread to more of the kids other than Oomizu," he said, giving the half-demon a sheepish grin. He looked back to his friend's son, and said, "Look, Kratos, even though you're being a d**k right now, I still kinda like you. Too bad there's a conflict of interests. See, Oomizu isn't in the city right now, and I really want my goddaughter to have a home to come back to. Now, I could always go the route of trying to explain doing this would kill everyone you've ever cared about, but I've got more respect for you than that. I can see you're not going to change your mind, for whatever reason. But you know what? Call me stupid, call me crazy, call me whatever you want; I don't care if I die. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure what I want happens, because I'm an evil b*****d, too, even if I don't show it as much as I used to. But, just so you know, having your little underling doing the fighting for you is so cliche... If you're going to kill friends and family, your own blood, then you should do it your damn self. I'm waiting." To most, it would just seem like Jack being Jack and blowing a lot of hot air, but actually, he had been trying to fill up as much time as possible to try and think of a way out of this. He had gone through quite a few scenarios while he had been speaking, but he didn't know much about what these two could do. He had no idea who the girl was, just that she had some sort of wind power, and it had been so long since he had last seen Kratos in any kind of fight, even training...

Collette saw Shodan's announcement on the small screen in front of her, but instead of getting concerned, she just pushed the image aside and stayed focused on the large tank she was maneuvering. She decided to ignore Maverick's earlier statement because answering it might imply that she knew more than she did, which was true of course, but she couldn't afford to let anyone else know that, especially under lady Hitomi's supervision. "Alrighty! Hold on!" She exclaimed as she made the tank go a hard right before slamming on the brakes just in time so that it wouldn't destroy the building. Going over a few damage specs from the robots' attacks, she then lookedup at Maverick. "Looks like this baby's got enough juice to keep going at the pace we are. So what now?"
Azmaria couldn't help but stare at Neru with a quizzical expression. She found it odd that she was talking to herself in such a manner, or maybe she could see someone that the angel couldn't. Either way, it reminded her of Rosette during the last month of her life, how she was struggling with her sanity against Aion. "O-Okay." Was all Azmaria said, finding that the middle of the battlefield was not the time nor the place to start asking about deep, psychological questions. She then slung her rifle over her shoulder before she began to run, finding that they're situation was becoming more and more dangerous and that running away as quickly as possible and making it back to the main group was the best thing to do at the time.
Toph moved her head around, her eyes still closed before she sighed to herself, hopping off of Luki's back as soon as she could. She needed to be close to the earth, no matter what. She could hear the screams of anguish that the pain inflicted caused the reinforcements. Her heart went out to those men and women, but there wasn't a lot she could do; she wasn't a healer. The best she could do was make and underground bunker for them to stay safe, but who knows how long that would last. "Yes, I'm glad we're safer," She looked up to him with an optmistic grin, clasping a hand on her tricep. "Hopefully we'll be able to help the others!"
"Hello love. I'm overjoyed to see that your safe." Tomoe greeted Alexander with a quick kiss as soon as he neared him. Flicking the oversized fan in her hand, she revealed two of the circles painted on it and then waved it in the air, having many blades seep out of the attack, slicing anything in its path to ribbons. It was then she got a chilling revelation that just caused her demon blood to boil in rage. Her ears twitched a bit as she sniffed the air, now staring in the direction of the sword's keep, where a powerful amount of demonic energy was gathering. "I can sense them all. My father, the Lords, and... Kratos. They're all gathered together." She whispered, almost in disbelief as her hands began to shake in fury. "Damn him... He's my brother, my twin. But he dishonored my family's honor and tried to kill me. I love him, but he deserves to perish for the terror he's caused to Toph and I."

Heavy came back bursting through the door. "Ja Ja! i coming ready!" he said as he ran back to the front lines "Doktor i found new weapons for you. I saw more but i can not carry all" he said as he laid a few weapons on the ground. Some for soldier and some for scout. "Take pick and get ready for round two" he said in the most serious face he has had in quite a while. Navi thought for a moment. "Spy... If i was a head, i wouldnt just sit around on a table. From the stories i heard of shodan she can merge her physical being into something... perhaps she is inside one of the robots...." she pondered. Inuyasha growled "Its for his own good that he be taken in to the proper authorities... but if he or any of his goons attack me, i will disown him right here and now!"
Kratos laughed "Those that cared about me Jack? All i wanted was Toph to feel a shred of emotions to me. All she did was turn me down! She saw me as weak! Well once i take that sword noone will ever see me as weak again! Blame Toph for all that die once i take that sword. Shes the one who made me this way" he smirked as his demonic blood swelled in his body.
A small barrier of water surrounded a girl as she got into a battle stance. under the bubble of water she stood there awaiting her leader's order "Sorry im late" she said "But ill make you proud"  Alexander smiled before going back to a serious look "Im sorry baby. maybe there is a way to get to him. Should we go or do we stay?" he asked seeing the near hopeless situation. Maverick nodded. "People are getting in. Ok gun it to the next building. Keep up this pace and we will be good to go back in no time." he said as he looked around. "i dont like the way this looks... I have a feeling of dread in the pit of my soul at the moment and the feeling......" he looked back out side "We are here one more load after this and we will be full and ready to go back" he told her

The demon horseman and the summoner continued to ride through the lines of enemies. Raidou was able to fight as well due to a technique of Red Rider's to insert dark demonic energy into his katana. So the two of them just continued to slash at what seemed like a limitless number of enemies. Raiho on the other hand was using ice magic to shoot spears of ice at the enemies coming in from behind He noticed Alexander and Tomoe nearby, it looked as though they were planning something, but their were just too many enemies. He told Red Rider to head over to the two of them, after slicing another group up, Raidou looked down at them from his mount. "Hey, you guys need a hand?" he asked them.

( *posts annoying derail*  England is a daddy! my brother's bunny -the mum- Two Tone had six babies this go around and accepted them! I took pics of them, they were born last night~ ^w^ so cute. So happy that she took this second time. >> Sorry. XD I just needed to spam you guys with this, cause last time the results were sad. >.< okay.. *slinks off.. end derail* )

((Aww, cute bunnies are cute~! I can't wait to see them when they get all fluffy~! whee ))
Instinct and knee-jer reactions is all that kept Oomizu and any near her safe from Allant. She was still looking down in stunned depression when her hand suddenly jerked up and the pink barrier formed a solid wall between the group and the blades of wind headed towards them. She slowly lifted her eyes towards Allant and frowned lightly. She didn't like how he was threatening her and her friends. Suddenly, she went pale and her eyes went black as her gift of deat began to kick in. The syth appeared in her hands and she began to approach Allant.
Meiko frowned at disgust at Shodan displaying the metal skeleton within herself. She saw nothing wrong with having real flesh. Master had made them that way specifically so they could relate to humans and the pain they can feel at times. It meant Meiko was more knowlegable about the human race than Shodan could ever hope to-- not that the intollerable woman seemed to have any interest. She held onto Shodan and huffed. "Say what you want, but youre just a jealous b***h in my eyes. The real irritant is one who refuses to learn the ways of other species or beings. I pity you because there is no way the humans could ever accept soe one as hateful as you!" She pulled out her microphone stand and waited for Souji to follow.
Kikyo made it to the building and was making her way towards the sword when she sensed the dense demonic aura. Two of the four she had known for what felt like forever. One of the two more unknown auras seemed more controlled, and she knew it could be no other than Shesshomaru's son. That must mean... She gritted her teeth and ran faster, needing to catch up to the others now more than ever. As she ran, she took the bow from her back and prepared an arrow to attack with.
Hiruko nodded to Kagome and continued to sort through the crowd. To her question, he glanced up before he looked to her and shrugged. "I did not go on that mission, but apperently some one brought back a trophy from a space ship that some of the group died on, and that trophy is what is messing with the city now."
Soldier picked up the Battalion's Backup and stuck it to his back before he grabbed his new gun and looked over it with a wide grin. "I shall name this Black Box. Now, let's see what she can do!" He turned and instantly bega shooting at on-coming robots, enjoying getting to play with a new toy.
Scout looked at his new stuff, but it seemed most of them were melee items. Normally, he would be thrilled, but he knew how risky it was to play around with melee weapons with these things. He saw what looked like a starter pistol and looked questioningly to Heavy before he picked it up and began testing it out. When he saw it worked as good as a pistol, he grinned and began shooting at robots.
Luki was able to hide how much pain he felt from hearing Shodan broadcasting her message directly to him, but he knew full well Toph would still sense how much pain it truly caused. He nodded before he swallowed back the pain and spoke up. "Let's see if we can find people who are surrounded and give them a hand. I think you forming a wall around those trapped while I blast the robots with my machine gun would be best."
Neru took her headphones off her head and fiddled with them brefly before she put them back on her head. She hadn't heard from Haku yet, which worried her some. Neru ran after the angel and slashed at anything foolish enough to come near her, destroying them with clear cuts and expert precission. Where evr she knew swords wouldn't work, she took her riffle and shot them a few times before continuing on with her sprint.

"Heavy, I don't know vhat any of zhose zhings do," Medic explained, looking down at the new weapons. One saw that looked like half had been cut off and a needle attached to the front, another that looked like something a doctor from a thousand years ago or so would have, and... "Is zhat a crossbow...?" Why in the hell would he need a crossbow? He couldn't decide if that would be more or less useless than the needles. Shaking his head, he added, "I am sticking viss vhat I know."
Spy agreed with Navi, even if he didn't dare do so out loud. This thing thought it was more important than everything else around it, so it would want to look the part. He didn't think it would be just another robot; it didn't seem that smart. No, he had a hunch that this machine would take all the best pieces of different robots, or maybe take the biggest and the best and just customize it to look however it wanted. Either way, he was fairly certain he'd know which one was Shodan when he saw it.
"Oh, wow. Really?" Jack replied, raising an eyebrow. "Man, I didn't even do the whole, 'it's other people's fault I ended up this way,' and I would have actually been justified in saying that! And besides, I didn't say people that cared about you, I was saying people you cared about." Inuyasha should pay more attention, though. Right now, there were no proper authorities. Just people fighting to stay alive, and whatever the hell Kratos and his girls were up to. "But whatever, I really don't give a damn about why your panties are in a twist. Seriously, though, didn't I just say something about having your minions kill your farther, uncle, and whatever the hell I ever was to you?" He wasn't going to charge into the fight like an idiot; he'd be killed pretty much instantly. Kratos probably had at least a few others around, keeping the robots away from the sword, so all Jack had to really worry about was stalling the hell out of everything. That way there was a chance that the thing with the head would be taken care of, and there would be more and more of the old group worried and headed this way. Less chance of him dying with more help.
((Too bad Medic doesn't have a clue what they do. Shoot an ally with the crossbow, they gain health! Taunt with the Amputator, everyone around you gains health! Although the Vita-Saw's special ability is kinda useless in a world where he can't respawn.))
