I've got a lot more muscle than you. So that's it! emotion_awesome My appetite kicks in 10 minutes upon eyes opening. It kinda sucks. I never eat in the middle of the night. Not good for the metabolism. FOOD IS HEEEREEEE...*goes to nomnom*

Sabe Hudson Looks good, but just to be sure: is cancel included in the list of choices when playtesting? I've had in mind a similar feature for my latest project, which is a village life simulator/rpg/somethin'likethat that is supposed to feel like a mix of Rune Factory, Animal Crossing, and the Sims. I have the esc key being the cancel option, otherwise the "other" selection in the list is essentially cancel, because I can only have 4 choices and I plan on adding more to the 'other' branch later.
My main game isn't anything special, it was essentially just me testing the program to see how things work, and I kept building more maps to see if I could get different things to work. I started to like my little lame quests and characters after a while and just kept going with it and I have back stories and future quests written down in various notebooks as inspiration hit, lol. I just figured (since I have a bad habit of inspecting every tiny thing in video games because I'm a completionist and a scavenger) that it would be nice for people playing that inspect everything to be able to make their own healing items/weapons/armor either to use or for extra gold to buy stuff they want. It's just sort of an extra thing that I thought would be interesting to include, and since one of the main characters is from a mining town, I figured incorporating a smithing tutorial in my next map would fit.

I usually have 'cancel' or a cancelling choice set up on the first set of choices, and an option at the very end of the options to start from the beginning (using label and goto for this), because it's annoying to scroll through multiple menus when you hit it by accident (unlikely in your case though), or to go through them and realize you should have picked something earlier. Sounds alright. What's the premise of the game?

It's so far about a boy who was taken in by bandits after they killed his parents who were traveling merchants (though I have yet to incorporate this detail into the game). He flees from the bandit camp after overthrowing the leader because he's tired of being forced to do to others what they did to him. Then he runs into a bounty hunter and ends up being recruited to save a small village (much to his disdain) from a series of attacks from undead that's being raised from a nearby graveyard. I'm really not sure where to go with it because, as I said, it was started as a test. Most of what I've used character wise are the stock characters that I altered slightly and gave personality to in the text bits. I included the cute little elementals they have in the sprites because I thought they would be fun, I might use that as some sort of overarching storyline that involves something happening to cause the elements to fall out of harmony? The most overarching story I've given is that a bandit who he befriended is the new leader and causing chaos to force him to come back.

I just realized with this Apocalypsemass event and the whole Jurors summoning spooky powerful stuff, its all going to come to a head around the suspected doomsday of the 21st of December...
I really hope that isn't what they have been trying for this whole time..

The countdown goes all the way to Christmas day, so I doubt it. What's more likely is Gaia slapped the apocalypse theme on the xmas event because of 1) IRL hype and 2) so they don't have to actually think about the plot.
