Seph shook her head trying to look confortable with Sophia nomming on her tail "I wouldn't call tonberries creatures of hate. Karma's effects depend entirely on the individual. Like if a tonberry used it on a newborn baby it would have no effect because the kid hasnt had the time to do anything wrong. You and I on the other hand have killed numerous things which makes karma pretty dangerous. Still the rest of their death abilities I reackon also come with age. I didn't read up on the creatures enough to tell you more"
Hebal grinned amused by Mari's wiggling "Yeah you can be an aweseome samurai but you've got to show me the bushy thing you were talking about when you do become that great ok? Say... do you think we could go and play with the real chocobos for a little bit?" she asked her glancing at the rattling stable door at the other side of the room.
Alpha smiled looking out the wondow "Yeah but then again it's been done many times before. I mean look at myself, I've had to spend lots of time living the life of a human along with a few other demons. Most days it's easy to do but it's sometimes hard to keep your temper but excuse me a moment" he answered getting up towards the steering wheel "I'll take over from here Zadina since we are almost there" he told the boy pointing to the visible watch tower through the window.

Felina loosened her grip on Cid now he had finally calmed down and stroked his ears and tail "Yeah I am glad we wont too, I would hate having to do some sort of major heist to get the gamblers spirit and I would most likely mess up somehow since I am not a thief nor do I have thief skills" she agreed waving in case anybody was watching them from a distence.
Satoshi paused giving Gil a quick hug "I don't know if I could look at much history unless it was in my own language. Like back in the dark ages you agralian speakers had all these weird fancy words like thy and thou and many others that I am not familiar with because it sounds nothing like how you guys speak now."
Hayate hesitated before letting out a small snicker "Sorry I am sure he could make a good prince and keep up appearences but I can't help but get the image of him going to a fancy ball or something and returning with everyones loose change which would be lots of gold pieces. Oassu could be good so long as he remembers to cover up his stealing"

Oassu smiled "I wouldn't involve you in it anyway, Jenna and Itaka and Barbaros would probably suffice a team enough to take it I'll talk up some plans with Jenna tonight just so we're ready for it you know" he said
Jenna nodded "Well he probably would I imagine be a nice tidy profit from the ball but don't worry he's a careful thief, a very talented one you know" she said "Then again he did learn from the best" she smirked
Gil smiled positioning himself over Satoshi on the bed before going in for a nice long kiss "Why my fair lady surely you realise the eloquent tongue is still practiced by some noble individuals" he said kissing her again
Itaka nodded "True but then I hear some tonberries even do voodoo and that their knives are cursed which is why they hurt so much." he shivered "I generally make it a point to run from wild tonberries, not that I've encountered many." he said
Mari nodded "Sure I'll show you sometime, though its just a word for Samurai swordplay, it's nothing you haven't seen me do already." he assured Hebal "But you need to ask the slave's permission to play with her chocobo" she said.
Barbaros nodded "Why the temper problems? I know we humans are daft at times but come on were we that much of a bother for you" he said watching Zadina skip off to shower.

Seph smirked patting Itaka on the shoulder "Hehe even the mighty warrior Itaka needs to have at least one fear or weakness I guess. But I don't fight too many if I can avoid it but at least with me curses in genreal don't seem to work too effectively on me. Probably because of all the dark energy inside me" she answered using her tail to wave an apple about in front of Sophia once she finally stopped sucking it.
Hebal giggled looking over at Itaka "You could always make Seph say yes since she is your slave" she whispered before whistling at Seph and Itaka to get their attention "Oi is is ok if we play with the chocobos for a bit" she asked them before suddenly jumping up off the couch "Did you see that Sephy Wephy gave me a nod, we can go play with Chobi and Boco and go kweeeeh at them and then they can go kweeeeh back at us" she cheered dragging Mari across the room into the stables.
Alpha sighed slowing down the airship "It's not so much now but young demons in particular have short fuses and all the little things you would normally shrug off all add up until your ready to explode... sometimes literally. Like the thing which eventually got to Psy was the fact he always told to sit at the back of the buss in the bad seats"

Felina smiled back leaning in to kiss Oassu on the cheek "Ok then but if there is anything that you need me to do just ask and I'll help out in anyway that I can. I'll even speed up on the healing spells so your arm will get better even faster" she offered playfully spinning Cid around on the spot.
Satoshi raised her eyebrow in surprise at Gil "Is that something that you practice? Even if people still do it doesn't change the fact that it's like a whole different language that I can't understand. It would be like me trying to have a conversation with you in my home language" she chuckled reaching up to return the kiss.
Hayate rolled his eye at Jenna "If you say so but I guess any good thief wouldnt turn down a big opportunity to rob them since they leave their money about so carelessly unlike myself. If he tried to get my wallet he would end up without a hand for thieving" he stated admiring the view outside.

Oassu nodded "That would help though hopefully we won't need to bother with that at all and one of us will win the competition" he said as the tower disappeared from view as Alpha turned the ship towards the city.
Gil chuckled lightly "Well, I like to keep the old traditions, it was a much nobler time back when that language was spoken, no thieves guilds or crazy governments" he said leaning down slightly firmer on Satoshi and kissing her low on the neck.
Jenna burst into laughter "Oh Hayate stop, you gotta be kidding, you couldn't possibly catch Oassu if he snuck your wallet but it's amusing to think you could" she said wiping a tear from his eye.
Itaka shrugged "No one likes an angry tonberry still maybe so what kind of demon are you anyway?" he asked her stroking her wings while Sophia hopped about trying to grab the apple as it passed.
Mari smiled letting herself be dragged into the stables "Yeah we can go KWEEH at them" she said before turning to a confused Boco and going "KWWWWWEEEEEEHH!" much to Boco's amusement.
Barbaros frowned "We're not that bad now are we? Demons were a common sight back in the city, sure not everyone was a fan, some of the elves who remembered the terror of the demon wars as kids were a little harsh but I wasn't aware of any legislation punishing demons" he said.

Seph hesitated throwing the apple a small distence in the air for Sophia to catch "Haven't you already guessed what kind of demon I am by the wings and stuff? I am a night demon; one that would normally be nocternal and has the natural element of darkness inside, meaning I am to an extent in the same category as Sophia" she told him taking her claws out the couch.
Hebal laughed copying Mari by letting out a loud "Kweeeeheh" at Chobi before giving the top of her head a stroke "I think they liked it better when you said stuff which is making me wonder what exactly we were saying to them just now. They are cute little birdies" she added noticing a bucket of food in the corner then picked up some greens to feed them.
Alpha shook his head steering the ship slightly upwards as he turned "No there wasn't but Psy didn't exactly have the most fun at school. He was one of those nerdy unpopular kids because of his love of science. Fortunately nobody was killed in that explosion though." he reassured Barbaros

Felina squinted trying to make out the city in the new travel direction "Yeah your right lets be optimistic but for now... hold out your arm and I'll see what I can do to it along with a good examination" she requested making Cid's fur glow light blue for a moment as energy emitted from her fingertips.
Satoshi grinned reluctantly sitting up slightly "Yeah but there was also less technology and worse living conditions so lifespans were shorter and there were less places to explore and trade with. But are you going to teach me some of the language then or at least one word of it" she answered kissing Gil's lower jaw.
Hayate blinked but shook his head at Jenna "Trust me he would hae some difficulty getting my money and things. You have to remember once upon a time I was stealing from pockets and safes and other things, I do still remember the tricks you guys use" he reminded her letting out a yawn "though you guys can be annoyingly pesky admitably" he added quietly

Oassu smiled letting her look over it watcing Cid's fur glow "You reckon Cid likes that too? It feels nice an tingly but whats the lowdown nurse?" he asked.
Gil nodded laying down beside Satoshi and kissing her deeply "Yeah but we're not like that anymore and the language isn't anything complex, do you really wanna learn?" he asked stroking and cuddling Satoshi.
Jenna nodded "Uhuh but your methods are outdated now, besides Oassu's better than you with a knife anyway since your primary weapon is a bow" she stated.
Itaka nodded "I figured it was a darkness demon just not sure of the proper terminology" he said hugging Seph "Did you have trouble changing from nocturnal at first when you were just developing your powers?" he asked frowning as Sophia pelted the apple at him again causing her to burst into laughter once more.
Mari giggled "Me too, maybe we weren't really saying anything since I hear animals communicate more by gestures than anything else" she said muttering "kweh" quietly in Boco's ear before cuddling him.
Barbaros frowned "Sounds like some weak explosion not to kill anyone but meh school isn't supposed to be fun really so dull and boring" he said

Seph shook her head stretching her arms out "That would have been a question for my mum since she raised me as a day person so by puberty I didn't really change sleeping pattern, although I did become less of a morning person. But did you want to know what breed of demon I come from? I hate using that word but I'm a Czernobog" she added wiping some apple from Itaka.
Hebal placed the food bucket down then hopped onto Chobi's back much to her surprise "So beause of our body language we could have said all sorts like I dunno... I like chicken pie. Never mind, it's really comfy up here on Chobi's back particulaly around the wings" she added snuggling into the back of the gold Chocobo "Whose a pretty girl then, you'll get pleanty eggs one day" she giggled hearing Chobi kweh in surprise.
Alpha laughed resting against the steering wheel "Maybe in your day but school is all about making friends and stuff too. It's more complicated now but he was still a little midget and a fire demons abilities get stronger with age but could you imagine the consequences if he did kill lots of people, would be quite nasty"

Felina hesitated examining Oassu's arm while Cid looked up at her wondering why she stopped tickling his fur "Hmm... it will be a squeeze to get your arm better but by tomorrow evening it could be fully recovered as if its never broke. It's slowly healing but overdoing it now could make it worse than before" she concluded giving his arm an extra feel before letting it go gently.
Satoshi chuckled shaking her head "Nah I can live without learning a language I am never going to use. If I do want to speak something else I would go with elvish, no offence" she told him resting her head against him "Your better than all those nobles anyway so no need to practice talking like them"
Hayate smirked reaching back to stroke the end of his bow "Sure some methods are outdated because of a technology increase for example pulling off a heist but for crimes such as pickpocketing it's always been the same technique or something very similar" he answered placing his weapon down on the table.

Oassu smiled "Well thanks for the help, tommorow evening I'll need to reward you properly for your tender loving care." he said kissing her on the neck.
Gil smiled nuzzling into Satoshi's hair "Yea don't worry about I figured you wouldn't wanna, I wasn't keen on teaching you either but why would you wanna learn Elvish?" he asked her kissing her hair gently.
Jenna shrugged "Sure but theres all kinds of misdirection and stuff other kinda cons you can pull that all include pickpocketing" she said glancing at the bow.
Itaka smiled "Well your just plain beautiful Seph to me," he said snuggling her "Still I'm sure your mum was a really cool woman, she'd have to be to create someone like you" he said unaware Sophia was tugging on Seph's tail wanting to play.
Mari giggled "Careful Hebal surprise her too much she might buck you off, besides she might not want lotsa little chicobo's scampering about hassling her." she said trying and failing to mount Boco.
Barbaros shrugged "I'd imagine it was worse back then but yeah good thing nothing seriously bad happened to your kid in school though" he said contemplating taking another beer

Seph groaned turning around to see Sophia tugging at her tail "Aww man this kid can't just find a way to entertain herself. My mum was pretty cool I guess, quite strict at times but looked out for me. Only thing I didn't like was her forcing me to learn the piano and the tap dancing" she quietly adder swinging Sophia around with her tail.
Hebal frowned steering Chobi over to Mari and Boco "it's ok maybe she doesn't yet but she's a very plesent and friendly chocobo. I giess Boco must be more picky about who can ride him" she concluded smiling as she watched Chobi headbutted Boco's side asking hom to play some form of game with her.
Alpha smiled and nodded his head proudly "Yeah he may have been a total nerd but at least he could stand up for himself and beat up all the kids who gave him grief about it. Parennts night was always very awkward because of that... his teacher was so mad at me because I supported his actions" he chuckled.

Felina blushed putting her arm around Oassu "Oh you don't need to give me any reward. I like looking after you and it's really no effort at all to cast all the recovery spells I have been doing" she reassured him kissing him back. "Hehe our airship is way better than that one" she whispered as another airship zoomed past them towards Kunec.
Satoshi shrugged "Maybe not elvish but a language that I will get pleanty of use out of. I don't want to learn a language and then never meet anyone to speak it too because that would be such a waste of time. Actions speak louder than words anyway" she added leaning over to give Gil a more passionate kiss.
Hayate slowly nodded placing his quiver onto the table "Yeah yeah I know all that which is extremely annoying at times, especially when some of them come up with the silliest of plans to try distract you. Is my weapon of interest to you?" he asked noticing her looking at his bow before taking out a black liquid out from his pocket which he then used to dip his arrows in.

Oassu chuckled "Oh I don't know, I think we should celebrate my newfound health" he said gripping his beret to his head as the airship passed by "Oh yea? Then why's that one so much faster, I imagine with the amount of traffic surrounding the place there might be a queue or something to drop us off." he sighed as a bunch of airships appeared surrounding the floating city as they passed through some clouds.
Gil smiled "Oh I don't know, I think you've already got a fine mouth without equipping it with a foreign tongue" he said going back in for another long kiss.
Jenna shook her head "No not really but some cons are especially fun still looks like the airspace is quite crowded out here isn't it?" she said looking at big airships out the window.
Itaka smiled seeing Sophia cling on tightly as Seph swung her around "Well still it's quite cool you can dance I guess still I don't know why Sophia is so energised today" he said.
Mari giggled as Boco kwehhed reluctantly before bowing down allowing Mari on "Thanks for the recommendation Chobi but what games do you two chocobo's play in the stables?" she asked Boco while he kwehhed quietly to Chobi.
Barbaros chuckled "I guess it's fair enough but will you need to do some sorta clearence? This looks pretty clouded for now" he said frownin at the other airships.
