pwned by Jenannen Jenannen My bathtub's brokded. cry (I think it's just a clog) It turned out to be that our rod was broken. We'd replaced the lever after we moved in,but not the rod so the rod broke and the stopper ended up plugging up our bathtub drain. But it's fixed and we've had many a wonderful shower since. YAY!
In the bad news department I've got a nasty sinus infection that has aggravated my asthma. gonk So I'm not feeling real great.
In the good news department my brother's wedding went nicely! I got a lot of compliments on my girls (dressed up in wedding colors) Hearing my girls look nice always makes me happy. 4laugh Also had a lot of compliments on the wedding announcements. Dad was able to make it to the wedding which is also a plus.
Not sure what else to say at the moment except that even though the wedding's over there's still so much in real life keeping me busy. I can't believe how much I have to do. stressed Glad to hear the shower is good to go. Also the wedding being a success is awesome as well. It seems everyone is having sinus problems (I attribute it to the spring season coming up @_@)

Much like Cardi, I've made a major life decision in the past while.
If I can't marry into serious money by the time I'm 35, I'm going to join a convent.
I'm April completely fools! serious.

Three days ago was my work orientation. Tour of the building, how to clock in and out, agreeing to terms and conditions of workplace, etc. No work the day after. Then yesterday, I go to work and they immediately put me on the sales floor. sweatdrop I sold a wireless router, at least!
Nothing like ye olde "hit the ground running" HR spiel, eh?

I may also have a job! They didn't mention anything about an interview, they just said "come in for training" But this isn't until May. They don't want to train me during dinner hours.

Sink or swim helps them get a feel for whether or not they want to keep you. After all, your on a probationary period, right? Only way to see if you can handle the job is to handle it with both hands. No hand holding here, Nancy!

0mega_Virus Congrats! Sink or swim helps them get a feel for whether or not they want to keep you. After all, your on a probationary period, right? Only way to see if you can handle the job is to handle it with both hands. No hand holding here, Nancy! Hmm, I'm actually not sure if I'm on a probationary period. I've got a salesman associate ID, I'm going to be getting my "blue book" soon with notepad for writing, address keeping, price charts, yadda yadda. I've been on the floor from day one, and my boss and coworkers know I know my stuff. xd That and I hear once you're officially hired, it's godawful difficult for management to fire you unless you do something really out of line. Either way, I'm doing fairly well, and plan on improving as best I can, so : D I have confidence! Also thanks guys heart 3nodding
