It's not complicated. Seriously.
A. Have an idea,
B. Do it for as long as you can by yourself, or if you're feeling brave, another person, thereby proving to people you know you're stuff by staying focused.
C. Open the line up for everyone else to have a good time.
And my god, Don't come into the ooc whining about mods that need to be involved, because whining won't encourage people, nor will volunteering them for a job you can very well do yourself.
:mops up the mess:

Bullshit.
Kidding or not. People wouldn't be here if they didn't have an ounce of creativity, they all have to pass some kind of test to get in.
It takes a lot of balls to stand up, take an idea under your belt, tell it to everyone and stick to making it happen, no matter what kind of abuse/stagnation/dull points that crop up.

I needed to pass no test. That was before they gave Wulf the banhammer I believe.

What Sun's trying to say is that this isn't like movie-making. You can't write a script and then search around for a director to make it into a movie for you.
*stuffs a copy of Rage V into his robes.* >>
I'm sure in some cases there'd be people who'd say "HEY! That's a great idea! Can I turn that into an RP/Event?" And being your idea, you could always give it to them or work with them on it and produce something really great. But you can't come up with the idea and then just hope someone else can do it for you. Creating it yourself shouldn't defeat the thrill of enjoying your own idea, either.
Better thing to do would be to mod your own idea, and then look for people interested. Those willing and creative enough would make great staff members, and everyone else would be participants.

I prefer working on events that last for a week, tops.
Because of a mix of laziness and time constraints.
*Shrug.*
Now if I could actually get the first one out the door, I'd be in business.

See also: the Destruction.
I'm going to talk to everyone involved soon about getting that kick-started again. Of course (assuming there's still enough of an interest), we'll have to wait until Private Velez has more free time allotted to him before we actually get into the full swing of things. =3
But hey, there's nothing wrong with getting the ball moving again. Especially since it's been stuck in limbo (again) for almost a year now, parts of which were my fault due to inactivity.

Well, some of it's been moving.
At least side-story wise.

Ah, good.
As far as a lot of the side story goes, I'm more or less left out of the loop.
But that's more because I'm lazy and don't participate.
