Not all of us are the same Nelo. And having your parents hacked to death by a huge deep breathing man in black armor is pretty traumatic.

You're right. We all aren't the same.
Some of us live in fear of life, while others take a rifle and make the Germans s**t their pants.
It just depends on what really is above the kilt... although what's under it also helps.

Cale Darksun yeah. you make it all sound so ******** easy don't you? Cale got over it as best he could. he moved from fearing them completely to just hating them. Fear leads to Anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to the Dark side of the force. Come now, you set that one up.

I'm a dry well as far as the darkside is concerned.

My point is that hating something is unable to be considered progressing from fear.
When your brother gets shot in the back of the head, you don't sit down and cry. You don't look at a gun and say, "I'll never touch one again since it killed my brother."
You pick your a** up off the pavement, tackle that son of a b***h, and to holy hell knock his a** around and wail on him, before getting him locked up in the slammer with life in prison.
You will get dealt a card of death. However, your reaction is solely up to your truest personality. You will either fight, or flee. Fleeing gets you nowhere. One day, you have to come to terms with what happened.
Then you can come talk to me about traumatizing events.

I'd like to see where you get that notion.
Hatred is the irrational thought of true malcontent towards everything of a certain quality.
I harbor no hatred. I only face what I failed to do.

Who said I did anything of the sort?
But you are right. Beating him is vengence. Instead, shooting him would be true equivalence. Which is a good thing I did not intervene.

To act with emotion is outside of the jedi code. There is no emotion. there is peace. Cale is not bound by the code, as is most of the galaxy. They let emotions run their lives, though Cale is capable of controling them when need be. But the point is that the vast majority of people in the galaxy run on emotions. does that make them darksiders?

They fear acting on emotions because doing so with the Force is what fuels the Dark Side.
Jedi strive for inner peace, and work with the Force apathetically. Sith strive for power, and and use the Force along with their feelings, strengthening it the more they feel.

But do all the nonforce users in the galaxy, who all thrive on their emotions, count as darksiders?
