steelunit I can lend you my Guard. I have that many... That is one thing that IG never run out of.... Soldiers. I may even run my army through a Apoc battle when I get my Shadowsword built. Sounds like a blast, I inherited a ton myself, though I need to get on the ball with painting and updating them, especially since I decided to convert Cadian to Tallarn.

I have to convert all these guys to be a little more padded to be like Grenadiers. In most of my battles, I typically run a few Vet Squads that are Carapace and Camo Cloaks, but I do have a ideal colour scheme for them, I just have to strip some of these guys down and modify them. I will post a pic of my army in a little while.

As for the vets/camo cloaks, I try to have my infantry hug cover, under which conditions they're almost as good as veteran infantry, just much cheaper. smile

I am one of those guys who will run several Vets, and Stormtroopers in almost every battle, because I love how I can make them last turn in an assault against Space Marine Assault Terminators. And I assault them first too.
