A couple of times, yeah. I've also gotten 'callous', 'selfish', 'arrogant', and 'too confident'... Mostly by people who can't handle honesty.

No, I've never gotten that. I have heard the 'you look like a boy/too skinny/no guy will ever want you' routine. A consequence of being on Ritalin as a teenager- it did not matter how much I wanted not to be skinny; I couldn't eat and couldn't keep weight on. Thankfully my metabolism is slowing as I age; I am no longer a stick figure.

If by 'media' you mean 'the news media', the way it moans about a liberal bias within itself while it actually has a strong conservative bias.
If by 'media' you mean 'entertainment media' like television and movies, the way the observer is given no credit for intelligence.
